Despite it's dinky appearance they seem to have crammed in any lotion, potion and herb you are ever likely to need. I was in enquiring about something I had read about online, and not only did they have it, but suggested something else that would be better, and it was. Google can suggest, but the nutmeg can advise- that is a big positive difference.

I wanna start drinking a certain type of tea or heard that Miso soup is the healthiest thing on Earth (it tastes like unhappiness)and I turn to Nutmeg. It's quite a cramped shop and they have filled it as best they can. On the left hand side is the organic, whole foods that are all sourced from Fair trade marked groups keeping with the shops ethical policy. The right hand side is for the sweet, sweet drugs. They stock all sorts of natural remedies and pick me ups straight from natures pharmacies all over the world. The staff are passionate about what they are trying to promote and can get a little on the preachy side, but its their shop after all.

Love that everything on offer is vegan and reasonably priced with a wealth of options to choose from e.g. filled wraps, bagels, salads, stews, soups, cakes and tray bakes. It's also heaven to have a choice of plant-based milks for coffee i.e. oat, almond or soy - such an improvement on offerings found at other Belfast cafes. My food was delicious and coffee flawless. In this, the age of excess hipster cafes, unfortunately it's still difficult to find good coffee, but thankfully 387 offers exceptional coffee. Additionally, this place doubles up as a health food shop with shelves, a freezer and a cooler brimming with goodies. After enjoying my coffee and food I did a mini grocery shop stocking up on vegan cheese, tofurkey slices, sausages, burgers, soups and chilli mayo. A lovely, relaxed spot with friendly, helpful staff and outside seating for sunny days. Decor is natural, focused on muted grey shades, wooden furniture, soft lighting and green plants. Everything about this cafe is synonymous with ease, relaxation and quality. I'm very glad 387 has arrived on the Belfast food scene and hope it flourishes. I will definitely be back.

DATE OF VISIT: Sunday 8 May 2016 for an evening dinner…read more MENU: Relatively good but really needing more Vegetarian and Vegan options and for these to be clearly marked on menu. There was some sort of separate nutritional sheet which also showed Vegetarian options but it's a hassle having to look at different bits of paper and would be much more user friendly just to have Veggy dishes marked with a V on the main menu. FOOD: Sharing hummus platter starter was delicious. Superfood salad fresh and mildly flavoured whilst the beetroot and falafel burger in a bread bun was a tad mushy, bland and greasy plus the sour tasting yogurt dip/sauce it was served with didn't do much to enhance the overall flavour. Side of sweet potato fries were nice and crispy but with a weird greasy aftertaste. Portion sizes were good. DRINK: Bottle of Pinot Grigio was delightfully cold, mild and easy to drink. COST: Average with total bill of £38.85 for two people. SERVICE: Faultless, pleasant and quick. RESTAURANT DECOR/ AMBIENCE: Average, nothing special or out of the ordinary. Quite a few families with kids there when we visited. IN SUMMARY: Slim's Kitchen serve good food if a bit lacking in taste and I suspect a few dishes are not as healthy as they pertain to be since some of our food tasted quite greasy. However, it's still a reasonably good restaurant for a bite to eat, just nothing exceptional. A place claiming to be healthy also really need to offer a greater range of and more clearly marked Vegetarian and Vegan meals. I would return if friends wished to dine in Slim's however it wouldn't be my personal first choice.

Slims shakes are famous of their vegetable and fruit juice mixes that they dont add anything else but the actual real fresh fruit and vegetable to. I ordered a Superfood salad with no cheese which came in a good-sized bowl and looked super appetising! I asked for tomatoes instead of cheese that they havent charged any extra for, and the food came really quick as well. Unfortunately i didnt get the name of our waitress, but she was really friendly and helpful. I can definitely recommended Slims to anybody, vegan or not, everything is fresh and beautifully served. Thank you girls from Slims who served us today! It was delicious and the service was lovely!
