picked up NOLA without milk. silly me. i should have known when the barista raised his eyebrows and shrugged his shoulder when i said that. I learned today that NOLA results vary by shop lmao. they all make it differently. there's a bench outside and the weather was so nice so i sat there with my black NOLA. popped back in there after maybe 10 mins asking if he would add milk. he gave me a knowing smile and nodded. I asked how they make their NOLA and he explained kindly, also offering to add some sugar which i accepted. they offer some fun signature lattes here like lemon cream?? that sounds so fun. will return to try some of their signatures in the future. read more

Decent spot that really feels off-the-radar for many including myself. While I did hope the coffee would have a unique taste I was not blown away by the taste. The prices were just average for even a basic coffee with milk ($5-6) and there wasn't any special desserts nor other homemade food items that really caught my attention. I'd love to come back and try a specialty drink, it's hard to pinpoint specific reasons for why this shop is different than many others in the area. read more

Cozy with super friendly staff. Pricing is pretty much comparable to the other non-Starbucks coffee shops nearby but they have a $2 pastry (with coffee purchase) after 2:30pm so that's neat. The blueberry muffin was delicious. They can heat your pastry if you'd like. There are 8 seats, @ 3 tables and the bar in front of the window. So I don't know how you'd fare trying to do work here, but it is a nice place to have a conversation with a friend. I'm rarely in the neighborhood when they're open because they close kinda early. But today I finally had an hour to kill before an appointment so I was able to finally stop by. I got there 20 mins. before the $2 pastry special but the barista gave it to me anyway. That was extremely nice of him! It's great to have other coffee options since Starbucks decided that having a place to sit and enjoy a coffee was just too much. I hope this shop does so well that they can extend their hours. Then I could be a regular customer. read more

$7.50 for a latte the size of my palm. The latte itself was good, I got the Ube latte. Couldn't really taste the Ube unfortunately but still tasty. Wouldn't go again since there's a thousand options nearby and nothing too special about the place read more

I had an Iced Lemon Cappuccino and it was fabulous! Perfect for a warm day - so refreshing. The gentleman behind the counter was so polite and welcoming. The music was chill and there were a few seats to rest on. I recommend this cute little shop! read more

Small shop but great coffee. The occasionally have unique treats like exotic Kit Kats and they do have a small selection of baked goods. They don't have many savory breakfast options but it's a great spot to grab a beverage on the go. read more

Cute coffee spot with a clean aesthetic. There is seating inside and outside. There is no bathroom available. The man there was really nice, and when we asked about closing time (since we got there half an hour before the listed closing), he said they were staying open an extra half hour today! Came across this cute cafe the other day and had to come in to take a look. It was a Saturday afternoon and wasn't too packed, and there seemed to be seats available throughout the afternoon, but many people stopped by to pick up coffee. I tried their matcha lavender latte (as a huge fan of floral lattes), and it did not disappoint. They also have other fun flavors I'll try in the future. Studied for a bit while enjoying the atmosphere here, and it did make a nice quaint study spot albeit a small cafe with no restrooms. Overall, I had a great experience here and will definitely return :) read more

I really enjoyed the coffee here at this little place. I had a cortado which was spot on and tasty- when I asked the barista what was in the hopper (what bean origin was in the grinder) for the cortado he didn't even flinch - Rwanda! Yes please. I also tried the drip coffee which was a different origin .. anaerobic India? I think he said? definitely speciality coffee here and fresh roasted w/o a doubt. I'm a purest when it comes to coffe and have never been into the fluffy latte drinks so from a purest prospective this place serves amazing coffee. Can't believe I never have stopped here being that we are in the city every other week on Broadway. I will be a regular. Love the NYC feel here. Clean uncluttered and minimalist. Fillup Coffee was a accident today while I searched Yelp for coffee nearby. I'm very happy to say it was a really good accidental find. The atmosphere is very relaxing and they are very nice, professional, friendly employees. The coffee was very good and filled up just the way I like. They have some breakfast items but I wasn't ready to eat yet. The seating is comfortable. I'm highly recommending if you are nearby. Make sure you have proof of vaccination if you want to sit inside. Yay!!! A new coffee shop in the Upper West Side! This spot is awesome because it's on the way to the train station (96th st). My favorite is an oatmilk latte & there are so many different pastries to choose from. I asked if they can heat up my almond croissant & they did!!!!! Oh I love a warmed up buttery pastry. The space is very modern and clean. There are about 6 seats here too. Next time I might bring my work here and just chill here. Wifi is free!!! read more

Good coffee and good design in a cozy space with a few tables. It's great to have a really good cafe to work in in this part of the neighborhood, which doesn't have many. I got a caramel macchiato at FillUP and I absolutely love it! The coffee is super rich and I can literally taste the quality in one cup. It's different from your typical coffee cafe. Almond croissant is good! Coffee is fine too. Small place so no guaranteed seating. Only one person was working as well so service was slow as many people wanted coffee. Would recommend if you are in the neighborhood but not worth traveling to. read more

Despite the name, it seems to have a bit of an identity crisis. The menu contains a lot of Asian fruit teas/flavored beverages, so not sure if this is supposed to be a coffee shop or a tea shop. When I ordered a cappuccino I was asked what size I'd like: immediate red flag. Even the small was several ounces larger than a traditional cappuccino and it was served scalding hot. Maybe they're trying to appeal to the Starbucks consumer. Cheese danish was fine. Overall, just average. read more

I read the Yelp reviews and decided to try Filliup rather than Starbucks up the street. I was vey disappointed with my cup of coffee. It had a horrible aftertaste and was slightly warm and not even close to hot. And I was the 1st person in the store as it was open at 9a today. So I should have been a fresh tasting coffee. What a waste of $3.25. Wish I had asked for a refund and then gone elsewhere. I brew my coffee from freshly ground beans in a pour over every morning and was hoping for a nice strong coffee on vacation in NYC. Too bad I didn't ask for a refund. read more

So happy to have a local coffee option! Came across this adorable shop on my way home and knew I had to stop by. Very modern with clean lines and lots of white, and even though it's small they have a couple tables inside for hanging out. They offer all the standard coffee options in addition to a menu with lots of unique offerings like dragonfruit and a bourbon vanilla latte that I had to try! Otherwise, I wouldn't get it again. Overall, the spot is good, but the flavors just weren't quite there for me. I've heard great things about the banh mis here, but given the soup I had, I wouldn't come to this spot and would rather just visit the union square location. Wish I could give 3.5 stars.
