Sometimes it can be a lil muddy so don't wear good shoes and bring a towel to wipe off your pups feet before getting in the car. Another thing we love is everyone we have come in contact with here really obeys the rules of "going to a dog park" if somebody's pup gets in a "mood" they leave as not to cause issues for others (we also have left when our dog was getting a bit too bossy). Truly a wonderful experience every time and lovely people. Highly recommend

The courts are well-maintained, clean, and I always find parking nearby. You can reserve a private court only on Saturdays and Sundays. Additionally, they have a dog park. There seems to be a big-dog and a small-dog side, and the dog park is huge! It's nice watching the dogs socialize and play. The park seems well-maintained, and both humans and dogs seem happy, although I've never observed long enough to see any dog/human drama.

I'm a dog owner myself and used to let my little dog off leash here occasionally, but after realizing there is a lot of unpredictable behavior from dogs and their owners, I don't bring her here that often anymore (unless there are not that many people)! In the middle of the park is the toddler playground and then at the end of the park is the larger playground area for older children. There is lots of grass and a grass hillside. The highlight for me was the toddler playground. I work with children and often like to meet at parks to see their gross motor skills and work on them. This is one of the few parks left I have seen with sand. The park was very clean and even though there were many dogs off leash running around, pet owners were quite aware of where their dogs were and I didn't see any dog poop in the grass. You also can't beat that gorgeous ocean view. I came on a Friday late afternoon when they don't charge a park fee. Big plus!

I took my dog and my grandma here to hopefully have a nice day at the dog park while my dog could play, while my grandma sits in the shade. We ended up having a really hard time finding the park driving wise because it was a bit hidden and tucked away from any houses, apartments, and is located behind the Oak Park park that goes into the mountains. Granted, you end up at the bottom of the dry grassland hills and mountains there, and it's gorgeous. But on a sunny day, it was unfortunate that there wasn't any shade or good shaded areas to sit. They have one bench alllllll the way at the end of the dog park. When we showed up at the dog park initially, no one was actually there! So it ended up just being an empty grass field for my dog, which we made work, but I know he wanted to socialize and play with others. Even though this one is closer to me, I end up just going to the Westlake Dog Park most days since it's more accommodating for us.
