Completely stupid. I leave when the humans can't control themselves. 2. Dogs poop, so pick up your dogs poop!!! 3. Some people bring there large dogs to the small dog side because that say their big dog is timid. If your dog is 60 pounds and he steps in a 10 pound dog, that's a problem. Keep your big dogs to the appropriate side. 4. Dogs are not little humans with fur coats. So don't be surprised when your dog doesn't listen to you.

The playground has 5 slides, some steering wheels, and a lot of different rock/climbing walls. There are also 2 big swings and 2 baby swings. I really appreciate how the playground is fenced off, there's seating inside (one bench and one picnic table) but also seating outside so you can watch your kids. It is clean up here and there are some beautiful views. There are some "rattlesnake warning" signs, which I suppose are a bit concerning, but also a good lesson in Mother Nature and staying alert! We have to remember that this was their area before it was ours.

There are plenty there. Also there's water available for the dogs. It's a great place! Last time I went, people brought their own chairs and sat there watching their dogs. There are a few benches there, but if you plan on staying awhile I highly suggest bringing your own folding chair. I highly recommend bringing your dog to this park! It's great!

Granted, you end up at the bottom of the dry grassland hills and mountains there, and it's gorgeous. But on a sunny day, it was unfortunate that there wasn't any shade or good shaded areas to sit. They have one bench alllllll the way at the end of the dog park. When we showed up at the dog park initially, no one was actually there! So it ended up just being an empty grass field for my dog, which we made work, but I know he wanted to socialize and play with others. Even though this one is closer to me, I end up just going to the Westlake Dog Park most days since it's more accommodating for us.

We hiked out to Paradise Falls, and while the view from a distance had me thinking, "That's it?"... once you get closer, it's actually beautiful. The weather was in the 80s, with the cool breeze made the hike so much more enjoyable (especially on the steeper parts). My pup had the best time too! I would've loved to let him run free, but this isn't an off-leash park. What I really loved is that there are so many different trails. Whether you're in the mood for a quick walk, a jog, or a longer hike, you'll find a route that fits. There were lots of people out enjoying the scenery, and the nearby town has plenty of cute spots to grab a bite afterward. It was such a fun outing. I would totally do it again!
