I was also a little wary as I was ordering online, without smelling first. But a $6 a sampler, I figured, why not give them a try? Shipping was only like $4 for first class mail and each time, the package was delivered pretty quickly. Shipped on a Thursday and delivered on a Monday or Tuesday. I was really excited to try out my fragrances but then I think the package was stolen! I let The Fragrance Shop know and they sent out another package so FIVE STARS for customer service! I decided to have the package shipped to my office instead and these perfumes smell AMAZING! Santal 33 was great. I am IN LOOOOOOVE with White Tea, which smells just like Bulgari/Bvlgari "au the blanc" which is a very expensive and hard to find unisex perfume. I have yet to try the other two samples I got in the mail, but I will be ordering more samples and ordering a larger bottle or spritzer of White Tea. Also, I highly recommend trying perfume oils. Way better than typical alcohol based colognes/perfumes.

I have been to some of the highest rated salons in the triangle (Douglas Carroll -where the top stylist did my hair, Sam and Bills -near Cameron Village, and Rock Paper Scissors- Downtown Durham). Since I quit my job to be a stay at home mom, I can't afford to spend $$$$ on my hair anymore. I needed to find a place that was reasonable with talent and hopefully a group of hair dressers that treated me like a person and not just a customer. I found that and more. Hairplay is a group of the nicest and most talented women. The salon itself is adorable and not over the top! It's very welcoming. Joy, the owner, did my hair and she is fabulous. Upon booking my appointment she blocked off plenty of time for just me. I've been to places before where I was one of three clients being thrown around. Here I felt like it was all about me and my hair! Joy is an amazing hair artist. She got my color EXACTLY how I wanted it and made it look so much healthier. In December, they helped us choose and secure a home hospital bed for my Mom, which they delivered and installed on a tight schedule between our medical appointments and clinic visits. In June, when Mom needed a better sleep surface, their insurance expert Kellie spent ten minutes walking me through the complex Medicare rules about what kind of mattress or pad Mom could qualify for. In the end, she recommended that we purchase a highly rated and economical pad via Amazon, because Mom didn't qualify for insurance coverage on the items sold at the Superstore. Kellie saved a ton of time for me (and my Mom's doctors) that we would have spent trying (and failing) to get a mattress approved through Medicare. She also saved us time and money by pointing us to a good pad at Amazon (that the Superstore didn't sell). Afterward, one of Kellie's colleagues talked me through the process of taking wheels off the hospital bed so it would be shorter and better for my 4'6" Mom. I'm so impressed and grateful that the Superstore folks are so helpful, even when we're not buying anything from them.
