Kayla worked with me to find the best shade match with the dimensions I asked for. She and I picked out two colors from Bellami. We ordered them, and she prepared them for my install. She's personable, and listens to feedback without taking it negatively. I think above all else, she is honest about what to expect with extensions. They're expensive and quite the labor to maintain, but she was very transparent about what to expect in that regard. The only thing I feel a tad weary about is the feel of the bonds in my hair. At the moment (and maybe because they're new) they feel a bit tough to the touch. The bonds are meant to soften with time as you wash your hair, so I'm looking forward to that. It feels great to have a full head of hair again :). I'm a regular gym-goer at this point in my life, and the k-tips are flexible to my lifestyle needs. I can gym, put my hair up, go in the pool if I want, and style per usual.

My stylist was Lyric. She seemed pretty scattered from the beginning. She invited me to the chair we talked about what I was looking for she said no problem and she got to work. I was looking to cut my shoulder length hair to a pixie cut. She cut off the majority of my hair then shampoo. Everything seemed to be going good even though she was a bit distracted. Lyric was stopping to check messages on her phone as they came in. About 15min into my cut she took a phone call. She invited her friends in to come talk to her while still cutting my hair. Her friend came in and sat in the empty chair next to us and they proceeded to have a personal conversation about going out, their friends, and their partners. After chatting between themselves for about 15min Ricky asked to see Lyric in the back. When she came back she begrudgingly asked her friend to leave. During the time she was talking with her friend she was very distracted. My hair is very uneven and choppy. Very poorly blended. some areas are very short, some very thick. It was a very disappointing experience. I had just worked up the courage to chop my hair off and it just didn't go well. I have nothing bad to say about Ricky or his business. I applaud him for being observant and taking steps to make my experience better. Unfortunately it was just a bad experience and haircut.

She then said she had cancelled my appointment and I should have received a refund from groupon. I had received no refund or a phone call/email informing me of the cancellation. I was awestruck by the unprofessionalism. I feel that it's unfair for cancelling on someone because they don't want to receive other services at full price - it's a method of shaming a customer. I bought a groupon for balayage and all I wanted was a balayage. I can't write to her ability - I'm sure she's a fine hair stylist but she had treated me completely unprofessionally. I felt uncomfortable and the whole exchange caught me completely off guard.

My hair gets so easily tangled that I've given up on trying to brush it everyday. Although my hair is pretty dark, there was no shine and just looked dull. The process took just a little over an hour and immediately once Sarah started to blow dry my hair, there was already a significant difference. My hair right now is so silky, soft and the shine is just WOW. Now I know what they mean when they say glass hair. I can easily run my fingers through my hair and absolutely no tangles. I've gotten a Brazilian blowout before a year ago but it was nowhere near as shiny as this. The photos don't do justice! My hair had layers previously so it was kind of hard to get rid of all the split ends but she did the best she could and I'm beyond satisfied. Walked out that salon feeling like a brand new person! Sarah was so sweet and knowledgeable and really made sure that I got the results that I wanted. The difference of when I walked in and when I walked out is incredible.
