The gentleman who helped us spoke French and it actually shocked my husband so he was able to order in French which he LOVED haha he was a friendly guy! Personally the prices were a bit high for pastries but it was a good one time try :) everything is roughly $6 so a bit on the high side

Everything looked good, and the young lady behind the counter provided immediate service. We had the eclairs and the Napoleons. The eclairs were excellent with good flavor and texture. They were smaller than what I think of as a standard size for an eclair, but we would get them again. The Napoleons were another matter. The layers of flaky puff pastry were soft and limp, not flaky and a bit crunchy as they should be. Perhaps the Napoleons had sat too long in the display case, and the pastry absorbed liquid from the custard layers. We would not buy a Napoleon there again.

I should say 1 star... but I did like the croissants.. and French coffee…read more. The reason for the 2 stars... The tarts!!! The crust was thick, firm and delicious as the whipped cream... and the spread of custard. After wiping off the 1" of whipped cream there was very little custard.. like they ran out and filled the rest with whipped cream- you would think for key lime it would be filled up to the top of the crust. But unfortunately it's not even worth it... The strawberry cream water, was just vanilla custard.. a huge amount of whipped cream and 4 sliced strawberries... so why is it labeled strawberry not vanilla custard with strawberries.... Just beware if it's got whipped cream, you ain't getting what you paid for

Ok, now...I've been in love with macarons for years now, ever since I tasted them at some posh bakery in LA and then in DC. Then I moved to Utah. A culinary wasteland. I saw an article in the Daily Herald about Brian and his...Macarons. I was curious but not curious enough to order some. Then I saw him selling his macarons at the Provo farmer's market. I bought two of every flavor and... Ermagerrrrd! They were SO good! Better than the ones I tries in LA and DC. Fast forward two years later...I'm still a huge fan. They just melt in my mouth after that initial satisfying crunch. Brian manages to pack so much flavor into each macaron. I often get some without knowing what kind they are and I can instantly identify what flavors they are, 99% of the time. Not like the neon colored ones you can get at Harmon's. If you haven't tasted these, either order some or go over to The Mighty Baker. Now.

If you're looking for pastries that are as stunning as they are delicious, Fillings & Emulsions…read moreabsolutely delivers. Their fruit-shaped creations are little works of art--so realistic it almost feels wrong to eat them... almost. Each pastry is fresh, light, and packed with flavor. The pistachio was incredibly tasty, though definitely on the richer side, so it's one you might want to savor slowly. The raspberry had a beautifully balanced sweetness with a vibrant, delicious filling. The lemon was very zingy--almost intensely so--but still delightful if you enjoy bold citrus flavors (just maybe not an entire one in a single sitting). The standout, though, was the mango. Easily the winner. It had such a bright, powerful flavor, and the fresh mango inside made every bite feel special. Everything about it--from taste to presentation--was just beautiful. The only slight letdown was the macarons. While still good, they didn't quite match the intensity and uniqueness of the pastries and felt a bit underwhelming in comparison. Overall, this place is a must-visit if you appreciate creative, high-quality desserts. It's clear a lot of skill and care goes into every piece. I loved the building that the pastry shop was in, as it had a "lunch room" feel to it. There are a few restaurants inside so there are options and there's plenty of seating.

The sweet cashier recommended Strawberry & Mango, so that's what we got. They were delicious! I think the mango was my personal favorite. The location is in a food mall, which I wasn't expecting but it was so cute inside. I wish we had more time to check out the other vendors but we'll have to come back. On a separate note, it was kind of hard to find a trash can.
