He explained the steak was flavorless. A few minutes later, the owner appeared. She asked what she could do, and our friend said, "I can't put my finger on it." Obviously she misunderstood him, because she replied in a rather harsh tone with, "no, I don't want to put my finger on it. I want to make it right. What can I do?" our friend, replied that he was fine. He didn't make a fuss. It was crowded and noisy, so she can perhaps be excused for being so brusque. All in all, not a terrible dinner. But we probably won't be back anytime soon, and our friends who had never been before are not likely to visit again.
