Fifty Burger was recommended to my by a colleague at a work event. Can't trust people these days... Fifty Burger is located between Home Depot and Subways. There is plenty of parking but no tables inside, outside, or within the plaza. When I entered there's a line and 2 kiosks. Absolutely no engagement or interaction from staff. All while the wall has a sign that says "Community First". I would feel like the owners care if they had some tables for me to enjoy my food or if staff actually had a conversation with me. Since it was my first visit, I ordered from every section of their menu to support them and to give it a proper sampling. Since they have smashburgers I already know they're flat, so I ordered the Double ($6.50) with grilled onions, Fries ($3.50), and a Chocolate Premium Ice Cream Shake ($6.50). Even before eating the food I had already decided there was no way I would come back... I WAITED FOR FORTY MINUTESSSSSSS for this not-fast food. Goodness. Strangers and I were commiserating together as we waited. One lady said it would have been faster to go to the groceries and make burgers herself. Another lady pointed out there's no option to preorder online or by phone. But judging at how backed up they were, I don't think they can handle additional online orders unless they improve their efficiency. The shops small so there might be space limitations with the kitchen even if they choose to hire more staff. Fortyyyyyyyyyy minutes of my life wasted. Honestly if there was a staff member around I would have asked for a refund and left at the 20 minute mark. They called my number and handed me my food and shake. The bag had ONE napkin. Once again... I don't feel like a valued customer. Such messy food and I only get one napkin and no where to sit. It was too sketch to eat it on a curb outside so I had to eat it in my car for a fair assessment. It stinked up my car for days. I really regret coming here. Anyways as for the food, the burger with the grilled onions was fine. I enjoyed the taste, the potato bun is a nice touch. However it is small even for a double. AND NOT WORTH 40 MINUTES. The fries were okay, I only ate half cause it wasn't good enough to indulge in. The shake was just as disappointing as the 40 minute wait. I'm not sure when they made this shake but they made it too early. The product they gave me can't even be legally called a shake when it was the consistency of chocolate milk. I moved my straw around to find any part that is still thick but it's ALL WATERY. Gross!! I hate melted products the most. I tossed the shake after a few sips because it wasn't worth the calories and sugar intake. Tried this spot today with my woman! We ordered two 3x3's, two fries and 1 oreo shake! The fries, bomb.com, Oreo shake, we were incline to drink it right on the spot since it's made with REAL creme, it melts pretty quickly. Super delicious shake! The burger...... damn, that shyt was LACKING seasoning, even though it was made perfectly, the buns ohh so amazing, the texture is where iit's at but, jjust HUGE LACK of seasoning, tasted plain ol jane. The place is small and gets crowded quick so patience is a must, we waited about 20/25 minutes for 4 burgers. Now for the burgers they have sweet, spicy, I tasted more of the sauce and grilled onions, buns then the thin meat patty, so for me this new smash burger place is ok, but if you like these kinds of burgers than this place is for you. The place is a little pricey and only takes card, no cash The place is clean, busy and has some areas to sit so you can wait for your order, there is a small table with chairs for the little ones to sit. No seating? No problem. We happily enjoyed our meals in the car! They were so good and flavorful that I didn't mind eating in the car if it meant fresh quality ingredients. You can taste the quality. The staff were so helpful and friendly as well. Their shakes were so thick and rich as they use real vanilla ice cream. Loved the cookies and cream shake! This place is take out only so no where to eat there. It got pretty busy when I ordered, and my burgers came pretty quick. I ordered a double for my wife and a triple for me. We also ordered their fifty fries. The burgers are very good and for the price I don't know if you will find a better burger. I actually thought that the double would not be enough meat with their smashed patties but it may have been. I did enjoy my triple burger but do not think it is necessary. The fries I did not get a good sense because I did not try them for about 20 min after ordering and in the container they lost their crispness. They were still decent but I would eat them quicker next time and I am sure it would improve them. read more

Actually better than I thought it would be. I ordered the double with fresh Jalapeños, pickles and grilled onions. You have a choice between grilled or raw onions, no other additional toppings. It was a bit salty IMO, but still good. I'd give it a solid 7/10. It's on the smaller side, so if you're hungry, get 2 or a 3x or 4x. For 1 burger the wait was a bit long. Almost 25 minutes and I only had 4 people ahead of me. This is a take-out only place. There is a bench to wait for your order, but thats all. This is a cashless place, which I'm not a fan of. You order on a kiosk and have little to no interaction until they call your number. Prices are a bit high IMO for the amount of meat you get, but the toppings were good and fresh, so I'll let it slide, but if they raise the price any, I would probably not go back. The inside is taylored for folks to wait while your burgers are cooked and smashed. There is a big long bench and also a small niche for children too draw or color while you wait. Burger was good, nice maillard, the sauce was great, and the bun was perfect. I was very full at the end of it. Just a heads-up on sizing: the portions can feel a little small, so if you're ordering a double double, you might want to grab a side or an extra patty / or another burger to fill up. Speaking of sides, the 'Fifty Burger style' fries are a total must-try. We also grabbed a couple of milkshakes and they were divine--real milk and rich vanilla ice cream with no syrups, which makes a huge difference. During the wait I needed to use the restroom but there was none and I had to walk to The Home Depot to use theirs. The burger was excellent but no tomato or lettuce was offered. The fries were also excellent. The shake was mediocre. They need to offer lettuce and tomato, make the shake thicker, and cut down on the wait time, and if they do that I will return; otherwise, In N Out is a better choice. Went for the 1st time tonight.... ive been excited to support a new establishment in our city and took the chance tonight. It was awesome to see a huge crowd of 20+ waiting and a few outside. I love the small menu, not so much the lack of person to person, you order on a computer but I waited... about 25 minutes. The fries are some of the best I have ever had IMO. I got a triple, a double and 2 orders of fries and was 24ish dollars. I am sad to say the burger was WAY over done, basically burnt and, as an oral cancer patient in recovery, I couldn't eat more than a bite, guessing they cooked the burger where they grilled jalapeños. I can't do any level of spice and didn't think to even question it. Afterall... it's a burger, I didn't order a spicy burger! If a super thin (even the triple), burger w no lettuce or tomato (i also asked for pickles and it didn't have any), super well done w bomb fries is your thing, this place is for you. The service was great, but there was a mishap when printing out receipts, we got someone else's printed and it confused our orders. However, it got resolved and we still got our order pretty quickly. The place was clean and organized, and staff were nice. We got regular and nacho cheese fries, and they were great and cooked well, but the fries themselves are just OK flavor wise IMHO. Definitely would load them up with more toppings next time. Got a simple double cheeseburger with sauce, pickles, grilled onions, and fresh jalapeno. Potato bun was soft and chewy and held the burger together, while the crisp of the smash patties came through with the fresh toppings. The sauce is good, not as strong a flavor as some burger sauces, but it didn't dominate. Jalapeños and pickles added a good fresh crispy bite. For the price I definitely think the value is here. You're eating a fresh real burger with good toppings, and next time I'd plus it up to a 3x burger for a little more beef density and protein. 4.5 stars, only because of the fries. read more

I do smash burgers all the time and double 3 oz patties are very filling for most people. These must be closer to 2 oz patties or maybe even smaller.
