    Cheese Fries
    Jackie D.

Overall super satisfied for a no-frills smash burger spot! I thought the burger was tasty. Tried the pistachio milkshake and this was delicious! Also got the cheese fries and this was just okay, took me 15 mins to get home and the cheese was already a bit dried by the time I opened the box. Took about 15-20 mins to get our order but came in during a rush and there were only 2 people working. I thought the place was clean. There's no seating but I think the point is for you to just come in, get your food, and leave!

Fifty Burger was recommended to my by a colleague at a work event. Can't trust people these days... Fifty Burger is located between Home Depot and Subways. There is plenty of parking but no tables inside, outside, or within the plaza. When I entered there's a line and 2 kiosks. Absolutely no engagement or interaction from staff. All while the wall has a sign that says "Community First". I would feel like the owners care if they had some tables for me to enjoy my food or if staff actually had a conversation with me. Since it was my first visit, I ordered from every section of their menu to support them and to give it a proper sampling. Since they have smashburgers I already know they're flat, so I ordered the Double ($6.50) with grilled onions, Fries ($3.50), and a Chocolate Premium Ice Cream Shake ($6.50). Even before eating the food I had already decided there was no way I would come back... I WAITED FOR FORTY MINUTESSSSSSS for this not-fast food. Goodness. Strangers and I were commiserating together as we waited. One lady said it would have been faster to go to the groceries and make burgers herself. Another lady pointed out there's no option to preorder online or by phone. But judging at how backed up they were, I don't think they can handle additional online orders unless they improve their efficiency. The shops small so there might be space limitations with the kitchen even if they choose to hire more staff. Fortyyyyyyyyyy minutes of my life wasted. Honestly if there was a staff member around I would have asked for a refund and left at the 20 minute mark. They called my number and handed me my food and shake. The bag had ONE napkin. Once again... I don't feel like a valued customer. Such messy food and I only get one napkin and no where to sit. It was too sketch to eat it on a curb outside so I had to eat it in my car for a fair assessment. It stinked up my car for days. I really regret coming here. Anyways as for the food, the burger with the grilled onions was fine. I enjoyed the taste, the potato bun is a nice touch. However it is small even for a double. AND NOT WORTH 40 MINUTES. The fries were okay, I only ate half cause it wasn't good enough to indulge in. The shake was just as disappointing as the 40 minute wait. I'm not sure when they made this shake but they made it too early. The product they gave me can't even be legally called a shake when it was the consistency of chocolate milk. I moved my straw around to find any part that is still thick but it's ALL WATERY. Gross!! I hate melted products the most. I tossed the shake after a few sips because it wasn't worth the calories and sugar intake. For the sake of their own business I hope they put more care into their other customers experience and meal.

The place is small and gets crowded quick so patience is a must, we waited about 20/25 minutes for 4 burgers. Now for the burgers they have sweet, spicy, I tasted more of the sauce and grilled onions, buns then the thin meat patty, so for me this new smash burger place is ok, but if you like these kinds of burgers than this place is for you. The place is a little pricey and only takes card, no cash The place is clean, busy and has some areas to sit so you can wait for your order, there is a small table with chairs for the little ones to sit. I did not see any tables or chairs, inside. So don't plan on eating there.

No seating? No problem. We happily enjoyed our meals in the car! They were so good and flavorful that I didn't mind eating in the car if it meant fresh quality ingredients. You can taste the quality. The staff were so helpful and friendly as well. Their shakes were so thick and rich as they use real vanilla ice cream. Loved the cookies and cream shake! You can't beat the price point for great tasting burgers. Not ideal for a date but great option for to go orders. Highly recommend!

I recently checked out Fifty Burger -- a new smashburger spot that instantly caught my eye The vibe is super simple, clean, and honestly very aesthetically pleasing What I really loved is their limited menu -- it makes ordering so easy and not overwhelming at all. Straight to the point They also don't have cashiers; you order through touchscreens which makes the whole process quick, smooth, and low-interaction (perfect if you're not trying to talk to anyone ). Just a heads up : this isn't a sit-down spot. It's more of a grab-and-go place , but they do have a small table for kids to draw at which I thought was such a cute touch Now for the food -- the cheese fries were SO good The fries were perfectly crispy and didn't get soggy and the cheese was super satisfying The burger itself is a little on the smaller side just so you know, but it was really flavorful and delicious I'd definitely come back and next time I want to try the cheese fries with extra toppings Overall: affordable , simple menu , great food , and super easy ordering experience Highly recommend if you're looking for a quick and tasty smashburger spot!

I actually like this spot a lot. Their burgers are simple and good. For the price you can't complain. I also like how the menu is also simple. But just a heads up, this place is basically a take out place since there isn't anywhere to eat inside. I've already been here a handful of times in the past 2 months and definitely a spot I'll get a burger from next time I'm around.

This place is take out only so no where to eat there. It got pretty busy when I ordered, and my burgers came pretty quick. I ordered a double for my wife and a triple for me. We also ordered their fifty fries. The burgers are very good and for the price I don't know if you will find a better burger. I actually thought that the double would not be enough meat with their smashed patties but it may have been. I did enjoy my triple burger but do not think it is necessary. The fries I did not get a good sense because I did not try them for about 20 min after ordering and in the container they lost their crispness. They were still decent but I would eat them quicker next time and I am sure it would improve them.

Cashless and easy to order. I also got a chocolate shake and it was divine. The burger was cooked to perfection and the size was filling. The fries were divine and the crunch crispy jalapeños and onions paired with the cheesy fries was the ultimate taste experience. The ingredients tasted high quality amd the price for the portion size was hands down amazing

This is a no frills burger spot! Not fancy, very clean m, no seating just in and out. But the price is right for what you get. A delicious freshly made smash burger and crispy fries. I highly recommend this place. Best burger in town for reals! All this for $11....

Yet another gem of a find. Fifty burgers nails this concept beautifully, prep it right, cook it right, season it right, and serve! No fancy gimmicks no 18 toppings for show, just a damn good cheeseburger. Their fifty fries are a better version of those from that one place if you ask me. Ill be back for another juicy cheeseburger soon.

Food was bomb 5/5 No tables to eat which is inconvenient Doesn't accept cash Portions are small There's no ambience to this places it's plain white and boring But if you can look past that it's good

Checking out this brand new hamburger location in the city of Upland. This is a cashless, pickup and go location. Specialty is only smashburgers. The inside is taylored for folks to wait while your burgers are cooked and smashed. There is a big long bench and also a small niche for children too draw or color while you wait. Other options are fries or nacho cheese fries. Ambience was very calm and relaxing; the two ladies at the location were very hospitable and welcoming. Come try it and and support this new location!

The blue cheese burger I wished were a bit stronger in blue cheese flavor (as a person who loves lots of blue cheese), but the burger was definitely filling for both the eyes and the tummy. The only thing I wished is that the burger didn't feel as heavy/greasy, but if that were the case, I probably wouldn't have chosen a burger. That said, the grease did feel like it took away from the flavors, making the burger tasting milder than I had wanted. That said, it was very enjoyable overall. The dog menu was surprisingly different from what I've seen. It was surprisingly healthy looking with the amount of vegetables they added to my dog's bowl including some Brussels sprouts. There was no rice at all, which was fine for me since my dog doesn't really like rice. Unfortunately, he is so picky, so he picked out the chicken from the vegetables even with me pre-mixing it, and I think the vegetables are too firm to his liking. However, I appreciate the food being healthy and the portions, even if he himself will not really eat most of it. I'm sure some other dog will do a lot better with the bowl!

Service was slow and inattentive the whole time, from seating to when they were around to take our order or drop off an item, they were never friendly or courteous. They seemed annoyed having to work. This location of Back Abbey in Upland is in the Colonies area, in the same plaza as Albertson, European Wax Center, and Massage Envy. When I pulled up I was genuinely happy that this location was much larger than their original Claremont location. They have tables, a bar area, and a large outdoor patio. There were many tv screens for the sports fan. I actually liked the décor and had positive hopes for this place. When I looked at their menu I was happy to see the menu grow since my last encounter with their original Claremont location. Once again, I was excited for the business and genuinely wanted to support them. I was narrowing down what to order and I even imagined coming back to try other items. My boyfriend had the Back Abbey Burger ($20) and I was mistakenly excited to see the beer cheese so I got the Soft Pretzel ($10). We also shared a Pomme Frites (half $9/full $11) and went all out with the full cause it's a better deal. My boyfriend also got a Coke ($4). I was asking the waitress about the sangria but their version doesn't have edible fruits, so I was less interested. Honestly if she was more friendly I would have gotten something else. I just got water. THE ONLY THING WE ENJOYED IS THE POMME FRITES. I remember liking these from their Claremont location. Fresh cut and super crispy as they double fry it in duck fat. Yummmm. My boyfriend said his burger was okay but he didn't like the aged gouda which affected every bite of the burger. Ugh now let me get to the pretzel. The saddest pretzel in all of the lands. I was soo excited for this... anddd COLD BEER CHEESE!! Whatttttttt??? Honestly I wanted to ask staff if it was meant to be cold but they were no were in sight. We were waiting sooooo long to wave someone down for the check. If service was faster at least I can be annoyed and leave and get over it. They were so slow it left me to stew in my annoyance of the unsatisfying depressing pretzel. Also, neither the coke or the waters were refilled. When we were FINALLY able to wave someone down, it was still a while to get the check. We also for a togo container FOR THE FRIES. She can see the majority of the pretzel was uneaten and I made it a point to say I didn't care to take it togo. Of course she didn't care to ask any follow up questions. Food being bad is one thing... I could have always came back to try the duck confit or steamed mussels like I intended but the service made me soooooooooo miserable waiting around. I don't have time for this.
