I can not tell you anything about the interest rate they pay on savings accounts or CD's or many of their other services. My dad has a checking and savings account with U.S. Bank. What I can tell you is about the atmosphere and the service at this nice little Bank in Ft. Thomas. When my dad enters the branch he receives a warm and friendly greeting of "hello Mr. Meier." There is a Christmas tree in the lobby and my dad is waited on within a minute or so. His last transaction included both putting in money and getting a certified check for a family gift. It was completed quickly and concluded with "happy holidays." On a table in the lobby there is always a bowl of hard candy that I can not resist. This time of the year they have holiday trivia questions. Did you know that the song "Sleigh Ride" was written as a Thanksgiving song. I suggest that you check out this branch for friendly financial and banking services.

    In January, I set up automatic mortgage payments to come out of my checking account at another bank…read moreand then the following Monday, I opened a checking account as well with VCB. I hand-delivered my mortgage payment in February and asked a question about a fee on my account. I was told that there were no fees listed. Then, because I wanted to make sure that it was clear which bank my automatic payments were coming out of, I asked the teller if it was coming out of my other account (since that was the one with the money in it). She said yes, but I wasn't sure she had registered which bank I had said and I repeated the question, including the name of my other banking institution to be sure that my automatic payments were correctly set up. She affirmed that I was all set up for automatic payments and the next payment would come out of my account. Well, the next month I received a statement that said that I had missed my payment and also that I had incurred a fee of $90. When I went to the bank to speak with them about it, the president told me that the teller couldn't have made the error she did because she would have had to be "brain-dead" to make a mistake like that and would be fired, so obviously it couldn't have happened and I was the one that was in the wrong; therefore, the fee stands. I feel like I was robbed. I sincerely hope no one else trusts the tellers or anyone else at Victory Community Bank to have their bests interests at heart; based on this experience, I feel that they are solely in banking for their own gain.

One of the bankers in particular, Della, has been a complete charm in helping me handle banking business via long distance. Her customer service is exemplary. Such a great banking experience!

    We have been patrons at this bank for sometime and have credit cards with Chase…read more We have several accounts and due to keeping up balances we don't have fees. We did some restructuring and now fees, fees, fees. I have been chasing fees since, even though Joe told me I wouldn't be. Well he was wrong and when I tried to get follow up help I was directed to Jackie. Jackie took off a couple fees but here I am again being charged fees when Ive been told I wouldn't be. Then I just went through an account he and I use to transfer funds between one another and I just saw a 35$ fee. I'm not happy about it but Im not going to hassle these overworked employees as I will just amp up my efforts to get keep get him to leave this awful bank, that iconstantly needs to be watched due to distrustful or untrained/misinformed/lazy employees. It will take him time to leave but he has started talking about it with all our/my issues... I'm In the process of transferring all mine to navy federal. I've Had them for the last 9 months and not one lie. Not one fee. Not one employee saying they fixed something only for me to have to deal with another employee, on multiple months going forward. This is one establishment I look forward to leaving behind all the hidden/lied about fees. Such better banks out there without the lying/misinformed employees. I HATE changing banks as it's a large hassle ---who doesn't?.... My advice is DONT GO INTO THIS ONE...so you don't have to look at the future and changing a bank due to months and months of fees and complaints and lies and employees passing on to others....
