Yummy! Our first stop on my birthday weekend in Fredericksburg. Tastings are $20 for 5 wines & you get a stemless glass to take home. Most reasonable! Wine was good. I did end up taking a bottle home. Dolce Ray - dessert wine - really good, our server was so much fun. Super fun! read more

There are so many better places to go along 290. The wine here was not exceptional and the tasting room was not at all creative. Stick to Arch Ray next door. read more

In the same complex with Barelle and a clothing shop, they have a nice little patio and live music on Saturdays. Good prices on bottles, fair prices on water and soda for those that don't drink or are driving. The one downside is while they have canned spritzers, they only sell four packs and only single flavors - no singles and no mix-and-match. We didn't need for so we bought zero. Never seen a winery turn away revenue and customers for lack of product choice/quantity. They also had no idea if any stores carried their products, leaving us with no place to check on other options. Very strange. Enjoyable outdoor experience, but I don't expect them to be around long deferring sales. read more

Fiesta Winery - Batesole winery truck in the sane complex - Wine Tasting Room Near Me - Fredericksburg, Texas

Fiesta is a winery located on the pretty Arch Ray resort, in addition to the Arch Ray winery. This is a cute little tasting room, geared more towards the female crowd with the flowers and colors... It's a bit difficult juggling the various closing times and days of the week of all the different wineries, and we kind of pushed it on this one, we showed up at 530 when they closed at 6, but Taylor graciously served us, let me try a bunch of wines (I tried to be quick!), and I left with four bottles. Looking forward to enjoying the wines at home and making a return stop next time we are in the area! read more

For $20, You get to try any 6 wines at this winery with PLENTY to choose from! They give you a booklet that describes each wine and you can mark your choices. Note: your 6 is your 6, like them or not. The first glass, my husband didn't like. He took one sip and poured it in my glass. He did not get to choose another to try in its place. What I tried (between him and I): - Lime in the Coconut: light, would go great with a rum shot floater lol. I tasted more lime than coconut. - Skinny Dipping: not as tart of a green apple as I thought it would be. I would say it's more closer to semi-Sweet than sweet, but I like it. - Savannah Rose: loved the strawberry flavor! - Rhinestone Cowgirl: definitely can taste the smokiness. Reminded me of sipping on some flavored mezcal. - Back Porch Sitting: one of my top favs. I'm really digging the blackberry sweet red wines. - Home sweet Home: a good sweet red, blackberry was better. It wasn't heavy on the pomegranate taste which I would want more of. - Sandía: I really like for a summer picnic. Loved the watermelon. - Southern Sparkle: very bubbly moscato style wine. It does taste like sparkling juice. - Smolder Dessert Wine: had a smoky taste (almost like a sweet whiskey). I enjoyed that. - Dulce Ray: was one of my favs! Loved the caramel notes. I bought a bottle to take home. I enjoyed all the sweet wines they have to offer and would have taken the whole winery home with me. These wines were not as sweet as the ones from Fat Ass, but I liked that. Abigail was definitely an entertaining hostess. FYI: It is currently in an area that is shared between other wineries and boutique shops. I saw a sign that said they will be moving locations soon. read more

I forgot to take pictures inside but Rhonda helped us and she was excellent!!! She convinced us to stay another night! So obviously the hospitality was above and beyond. It's 6 tastings for $20 and a wine glass ! Most places don't give a wine glass. Wines varied from sweet, dry, and semi. She gave us a tasting of a dessert wine with chocolate! Thank you for that! It's an open space inside and seating outside. This place is definitely a Fiestaaa! read more

Excellent customer service. Wines are priced accordingly. You won't feel bad paying for a nice bottle. They have some snack trays. Not really a place to let kids run around, but some people do. read more

My family and I had a great Saturday afternoon here! My family and I shared a wine tasting on a fairly busy Saturday afternoon. My mom enjoys more of a sweeter wine, and this particular winery was perfect for just that. We were able to try wines both on the drier and sweeter sides, and walked out with several very affordable bottles. The atmosphere was very relaxed, and our server was very attentive and knowledgeable. Pro-tip: they have live music on Saturday afternoons and they only take walk-ins. Would return! read more

We visited here at about 5:30PM on Saturday, September 10th with our party of three. We were here for a wine tasting For starters, the tasting menu is just incredible. I have never seen so many choices. For $20 you get to try six different wines from a list of probably 60? I forgot to count! They have a lot of sweet wines here, and an almost equal number of dry wines. Since I love sweet wines, I had a hey day here, and wish I could have did a 12 sampler. LOL. Just kidding, it's good I didn't. All of the wines were simply delicious. We had a great staff member. The inside and outside grounds are just lovely, and overall I would most definitely return. read more

Just spent the most relaxing Sunday afternoon at Fiesta Winery, enjoyed the tasting along with the live music outside in the courtyard. Taylor did a fabulous job orchestrating the tasting, providing her insight into how to pair the various local varieties. Thank you Taylor and Fiesta for the hospitality! read more

True southern hospitality! Loved our hostess and the experience I had here. I had the wine tasting which is probably one of the best places. Reasonably priced, you get 6 wines for only $20, plus you get to keep the glass! read more

Fiesta Winery - a glass of wine on a table - Wine Tasting Room Near Me - Fredericksburg, Texas

I recommend this place if it's a girl trip. The men in our group was not impressed. Lots of options mostly sweet. Can't bring food and unsure if dog friendly. I've been with a girlfriend before and had a different vibe. Not much of food options and no food truck the day we went. So we give 4 star cause not much of food provisions and the wine was just ok this last time. read more

Came to Fredericksburg for one night. Arrived into town and wandered the stores- Fiesta was the first "winery" we went to on Main Street...and we came in about an hour before closing. Abigail was AWESOME! She walked us thru the tasting menu, listened to what we like, and paired us up for the tasting. $25 for six samples didn't seem outrageous - all drinks are expensive these days. We just had fun talking with her at the bar and enjoying wine. Would definitely come back! read more

If sweet wines are your jam then this is the place for you. When it comes to wine I don't discriminate, I drink them all. Lol Fiesta winery is located just off 290. They have a cute outside seating area for when the weather is nice and a fairly large inside/bar area for all the space for your wine drinking needs. Quirky, helpful "winetenders" who would love to chat with you if they aren't too busy with other costumers are always there. If you do their wine tasting for $15/pp, you get to take home a souvenir wine glass which is really a steal! Pay a visit if you are a wine newbie, Like I said this place cater more to sweet wine palates :) read more

Out of all our winery experiences in Fredericksburg, this one was the crown jewel. Their samplers/bartenders are absolutely the best and we're so very knowledgeable about their products. Not only did they know their craft, but were polite like Texas people used to be! We ended up buying six bottles to return to Florida with us. Don't miss this must visit winery! read more

TAYLOR IS AWESOME. She made the experience so much fun and she deserves a raise. She is so kind and make the experience such a good time

Awful Experience. The customer service was horrible and the staff was rude. Wine was sub par and the experience overall was just not fun. We were sitting at a table trying to enjoy our wine when we noticed one of their police officers harrassing a man and his partner (also a man). The two gentlemen seemed to be minding their business waiting in line at the restrooms. They kissed each other then went to open a door perceived to be a second restroom. Apparently this door was not a door to a restroom, and the officer immediately approached them and aggressively kicked them out of the winery. The situation was extremely uncomfortable to observe from a customer experience perspective, it honestly brought tears to my eyes. We ended up just finishing our glasses and leaving. read more

Such a relaxed atmosphere! Room with table top games, selection of dry wines AND sweet wines!

We thoroughly enjoyed our wine tasting at Fiesta Winery. My husband and I prefer sweet wines, so their wines are right up our alley! I think $20 per tasting is too high though. We are not in Napa Valley! However, if you buy 3 bottles, the tasting fee is waived. I appreciate that. Their wine bottle pricing is very good. Will go back and buy 3 bottles next time! Our server was outstanding! read more

The service was pretty slow. Wines felt over priced and not as delicious as others. The environment was great, however. Stickers and items are overpriced as well. read more

Bar staff were friendly and patient with the selection of wine tastings. Enjoyed the grounds as well. Thank you Abigail!

This was a good place to visit. One of the 1st wineries we visited and turned out very well.

Solid wine and fantastic crew working there. They were an easy going group of employees who did an excellent job walking us through the winds! Would definitely recommend to anyone else coming through this area. read more

Wine slush. Margarita wine. Live music. Wonderful interactions. With so many wines and goodness to choose from, it's a wonder people make it out of here with less than a case to take home. Now, again, I'm Preggo...so there wasn't any heavy tasting going on. However, when my girls were tasting a margarita wine, I had to have a sip. (Don't at me bro, this is baby number 3, I'm Gucci) The small sip I took had me sitting on my back porch watching my babies play in the summer. This wine was good! So I purchased a bottle for after baby gets here. The ladies behind the bar told me how to store it for 7 months and were super sweet and helpful as I asked so many questions. I had a favorite winery here, but needless to say, this place got them beat this time around. read more

Some darn good wine tasting! $15 and you get to sample 6 wines and keep the complimentary glass. That sounds pretty standard for the wineries in the area but Fiesta was a great place to go to right along the highway! A little easy to miss but you're sure to not be filled packed with a crowd or waiting for a long time here. I highly recommend Fiesta Winery read more

My boyfriend and discuss our not-so-hot experiences as being either a.) passively unimpressive or b.) actively bad. Meaning either a.) they didn't seem to give a shit or b.) someone was aiming to piss in our Wheaties (very rare). Fiesta Winery happened to fall in the 'A' category: passively unimpressive (which is most often the result of lackluster service). Unfortunately, the young gentleman behind the counter had no interest in sharing any information with us about the vineyard or wines themselves. We would ask a question and his response would be somewhat perturbed and lacked any real information. My best winery and tasting experiences have occurred when the employees are enthusiastic about the product and eager to make the customer equally excited about their vineyard and wine. The buildings that make up Fiesta Winery (and a few other tasting rooms) are very charming and located along the scenic 290 wine route. The Fiesta tasting room was very spacious and looked like it would be a good stop for bachelorette parties. The wine itself was okay. A little sweet for my liking. The rhinestone cowgirl tasted exactly what it sounds like - - sweet and strawberry-ish and interesting.... I think if we had a different server at the bar our whole experience would have been much more favorable. Here's to hoping he realizes the power of a smile. (bigger tips, yo!) read more

We were taking awhile to decide what wines we wanted. My Daughter asked one of the people working what her favorite wine was. Her response was - All of them.. a minute or 2 later, they brought my Daughter water and crackers and said they needed her to drink it and eat crackers because they couldn't serve her in the condition she was in. Are you kidding me- she had 1 glass of wine prior to this. Far from intoxicated. Obviously, her personality bothered them. We left after I had a few choice words to the lady that did this. Maybe you should evaluate your employees who ran a group of 10 people out of there who were just there to have a tasting before our dinner plans and clearly will NEVER step foot in that winery again. read more

Fiesta gets the full five stars from me for their tasting experience. We did multiple tastings and different wineries in Fredericksburg for our anniversary. At Fiesta the servers were super knowledgeable, and just had great conversation going the whole time. Listened to exactly what I was looking for and came up with 6 wines to meet that. They also had little cups of things that they have with the wines to bring out the flavor. Like dark chocolate chips for a sweet wine. It was just a little extra step that made the experience more fun. read more

Been here many times and bought many bottles and even ordered cases online ... we went on 5/6/23 to buy a few bottles of wine and to visit the town. We were refused entry because we were not there paying for a tasting. We tried to explain we just wanted to choose our bottles because we know the wine by the label and the answer was still no. But wait... their superb customer service came through with a brilliant idea... the employee said they would go take pictures of all the bottles while we waited outside and then we could choose what we wanted from a phone photo... thankfully there are many other wineries which would love to have our money.... The sad part, we planned our whole weekend trip with friends to visit fiesta winery and hang out in town. As a repeat customer of this winery, this was very disappointing. And because of this experience you have now lost a faithful customer. I felt like my presence and purchases were not important to this establishment. read more

Once upon a time there was a quaint tasting room off of 290 called Fiesta Winery with an excellent selection of sweet and dry wines to satisfy any traveling man's palate. Fiesta has since lifted its britches and hustled down the road (to any of those that wander and get lost) to its final destination as part of Arch Ray, a wonderful location that offers not only wine, but beer and spirits as well. Tucked away in the back, you will find the tasting room which still offers all of its Fiesta staples. Inside, Jim took us on a tasting trip while Randy serenaded us with the Fiesta back story which even included a surprise stand in by the owner Steve. Bill, another member of the Fiesta family also made an appearance to add to our voyage. If the wine is the destination, Jim, Randy, Bill and Steve were our journeymen, leading the charge and creating one of the most enjoyable experiences in Fredericksburg we have ever had. Fiesta has, is, and always will be a must when it comes to our Fredericksburg frolics. Thank you Fiesta! read more

Such a good experience at Fiesta Winery 290. First, it was such a good price. $15 for wine tasting and a complimentary glass and our server, Gaynell, was such a hoot.
