Fiesta is a winery located on the pretty Arch Ray resort, in addition to the Arch Ray winery. This is a cute little tasting room, geared more towards the female crowd with the flowers and colors... It's a bit difficult juggling the various closing times and days of the week of all the different wineries, and we kind of pushed it on this one, we showed up at 530 when they closed at 6, but Taylor graciously served us, let me try a bunch of wines (I tried to be quick!), and I left with four bottles. In the same complex with Barelle and a clothing shop, they have a nice little patio and live music on Saturdays. Good prices on bottles, fair prices on water and soda for those that don't drink or are driving. The one downside is while they have canned spritzers, they only sell four packs and only single flavors - no singles and no mix-and-match. We didn't need for so we bought zero. Never seen a winery turn away revenue and customers for lack of product choice/quantity. They also had no idea if any stores carried their products, leaving us with no place to check on other options. Very strange. Enjoyable outdoor experience, but I don't expect them to be around long deferring sales. read more

For $20, You get to try any 6 wines at this winery with PLENTY to choose from! They give you a booklet that describes each wine and you can mark your choices. Note: your 6 is your 6, like them or not. The first glass, my husband didn't like. He took one sip and poured it in my glass. He did not get to choose another to try in its place. What I tried (between him and I): - Lime in the Coconut: light, would go great with a rum shot floater lol. I tasted more lime than coconut. - Skinny Dipping: not as tart of a green apple as I thought it would be. I would say it's more closer to semi-Sweet than sweet, but I like it. - Savannah Rose: loved the strawberry flavor! - Rhinestone Cowgirl: definitely can taste the smokiness. Reminded me of sipping on some flavored mezcal. - Back Porch Sitting: one of my top favs. I'm really digging the blackberry sweet red wines. - Home sweet Home: a good sweet red, blackberry was better. It wasn't heavy on the pomegranate taste which I would want more of. - Sandía: I really like for a summer picnic. Loved the watermelon. - Southern Sparkle: very bubbly moscato style wine. It does taste like sparkling juice. - Smolder Dessert Wine: had a smoky taste (almost like a sweet whiskey). I enjoyed that. - Dulce Ray: was one of my favs! Loved the caramel notes. I bought a bottle to take home. I enjoyed all the sweet wines they have to offer and would have taken the whole winery home with me. These wines were not as sweet as the ones from Fat Ass, but I liked that. Abigail was definitely an entertaining hostess. FYI: It is currently in an area that is shared between other wineries and boutique shops. I saw a sign that said they will be moving locations soon. read more

We visited here at about 5:30PM on Saturday, September 10th with our party of three. We were here for a wine tasting For starters, the tasting menu is just incredible. I have never seen so many choices. For $20 you get to try six different wines from a list of probably 60? I forgot to count! They have a lot of sweet wines here, and an almost equal number of dry wines. Since I love sweet wines, I had a hey day here, and wish I could have did a 12 sampler. LOL. Just kidding, it's good I didn't. All of the wines were simply delicious. We had a great staff member. Came to Fredericksburg for one night. Arrived into town and wandered the stores- Fiesta was the first "winery" we went to on Main Street...and we came in about an hour before closing. My family and I had a great Saturday afternoon here! My family and I shared a wine tasting on a fairly busy Saturday afternoon. My mom enjoys more of a sweeter wine, and this particular winery was perfect for just that. We were able to try wines both on the drier and sweeter sides, and walked out with several very affordable bottles. They have a cute outside seating area for when the weather is nice and a fairly large inside/bar area for all the space for your wine drinking needs. Awful Experience. The customer service was horrible and the staff was rude. Wine was sub par and the experience overall was just not fun. We were sitting at a table trying to enjoy our wine when we noticed one of their police officers harrassing a man and his partner (also a man). The two gentlemen seemed to be minding their business waiting in line at the restrooms. They kissed each other then went to open a door perceived to be a second restroom. Apparently this door was not a door to a restroom, and the officer immediately approached them and aggressively kicked them out of the winery. The situation was extremely uncomfortable to observe from a customer experience perspective, it honestly brought tears to my eyes. We ended up just finishing our glasses and leaving. read more

Once upon a time there was a quaint tasting room off of 290 called Fiesta Winery with an excellent selection of sweet and dry wines to satisfy any traveling man's palate. Fiesta has since lifted its britches and hustled down the road (to any of those that wander and get lost) to its final destination as part of Arch Ray, a wonderful location that offers not only wine, but beer and spirits as well. Tucked away in the back, you will find the tasting room which still offers all of its Fiesta staples. Inside, Jim took us on a tasting trip while Randy serenaded us with the Fiesta back story which even included a surprise stand in by the owner Steve. Bill, another member of the Fiesta family also made an appearance to add to our voyage. If the wine is the destination, Jim, Randy, Bill and Steve were our journeymen, leading the charge and creating one of the most enjoyable experiences in Fredericksburg we have ever had. Now, again, I'm Preggo...so there wasn't any heavy tasting going on. However, when my girls were tasting a margarita wine, I had to have a sip. (Don't at me bro, this is baby number 3, I'm Gucci) The small sip I took had me sitting on my back porch watching my babies play in the summer. This wine was good! My boyfriend and discuss our not-so-hot experiences as being either a.) passively unimpressive or b.) actively bad. Meaning either a.) they didn't seem to give a shit or b.) someone was aiming to piss in our Wheaties (very rare). Fiesta Winery happened to fall in the 'A' category: passively unimpressive (which is most often the result of lackluster service). Unfortunately, the young gentleman behind the counter had no interest in sharing any information with us about the vineyard or wines themselves. We would ask a question and his response would be somewhat perturbed and lacked any real information. My best winery and tasting experiences have occurred when the employees are enthusiastic about the product and eager to make the customer equally excited about their vineyard and wine. The buildings that make up Fiesta Winery (and a few other tasting rooms) are very charming and located along the scenic 290 wine route. The Fiesta tasting room was very spacious and looked like it would be a good stop for bachelorette parties. The wine itself was okay. A little sweet for my liking. The rhinestone cowgirl tasted exactly what it sounds like - - sweet and strawberry-ish and interesting.... Been here many times and bought many bottles and even ordered cases online ... we went on 5/6/23 to buy a few bottles of wine and to visit the town. We were refused entry because we were not there paying for a tasting. We tried to explain we just wanted to choose our bottles because we know the wine by the label and the answer was still no. But wait... their superb customer service came through with a brilliant idea... the employee said they would go take pictures of all the bottles while we waited outside and then we could choose what we wanted from a phone photo... thankfully there are many other wineries which would love to have our money.... The sad part, we planned our whole weekend trip with friends to visit fiesta winery and hang out in town. As a repeat customer of this winery, this was very disappointing. And because of this experience you have now lost a faithful customer. I felt like my presence and purchases were not important to this establishment. read more

At Fiesta the servers were super knowledgeable, and just had great conversation going the whole time. Listened to exactly what I was looking for and came up with 6 wines to meet that. TRASH!!! We were at this winery for 5 minutes. They have a bathroom with a door across from the bathroom and one of our friends opened that door and the security officer jumped all over them. He yelled across the room and all he would say was "you're out" all my friend did was OPEN A DOOR!! They are pitiful. We believe they are homophobic. We even spoke to the Manager Randy and he backed the officer up. So if you go here make sure you ask before you OPEN a door. read more

She was friendly, charming and funny. I definitely felt that warm Texas welcome from her. I look forward to ordering some wine from their website because it was just that good.
