One of my favorite Mexican restaurants. Weird to say, but I LOVE their soup and margaritas! Always friendly staff!

The staff is very unprofessional. Reasons why I'm saying that is because one they put us in a waiting list of 30 minutes and we saw other cars arriving and they weren't being put in a waiting list. We went inside after 50 minutes to see what was going on and the staff acted like they were waiting for a table to get cleaned up when clearly we saw all the other people after us walking in. The server takes forever to come. We won't be coming back to this place! The food is not that great either, there are better places out there don't waste your money here! The husband and I stopped by after a long morning of doctors appointments. Found this place on the way back home and unfortunately it was not the best for me. I ordered the chicken chimichangas meal and it was very disappointing. Very salty and the rice (side) was over cooked which made me feel like it was old. The beans were watery and lacking flavor. My husband enjoyed the beans so I gave him mine. The service was amazing and the people were very pleasant but I will not eat here again. read more

Disappointing food overall. The green salsa served with the chips was the best part of the meal. Meats, all were over cooked to a point of being nearly inedible. Rice and beans, a staple in Mexican cuisine were terrible. Rice extremely over cooked. Beans that tasted like the came out of a can. Save your money and go to Taco Bell. read more

not even worth it to go I ordered a shrimp cocktail it was terrible and atrocious possibly can get seriously sick. we ordered food then by the way a terrible mistake.... the plate of food was terrible half of the stuff were expired maybe my son ordered a burrito bowl the lettuce and chicken was also probably expired. the chips and saltines were stiff the chicken was dry and flavorless. The "horchata" and "jamaica" was too it had no flavor. over tall terrible experience and we ended up paying a ridiculous price at the end. read more

OMG when I worked in Hammonton I was totally crazy for Fiesta Mexicana. Their food is sooo good! Huge portions, great prices, and what I assume is authentic. A far cry from Taco Bell. The place isn't fancy inside but it's clean and the service is good. I recommend hitting up this place if you're in the Hammonton area, it's worth the drive. Very salty food ,cheep and common chips and sauce ,tex-cheep- mex ,crazy colors on the walls ,I understand Mexican culture and like colors but they need to work together theres don't No class and less than average service SPECIALLY that in this area there is so much real mexican food ,this restaurant should be somewhere else with this americanized bad version of mexican food . I hardly leave reviews, usually when I need to vent about an experience, and this restaurant meets that standard. There is not a single factor that made this meal worthwhile. No exaggeration, we waited 45 minutes for out appetizer which was just nachos. In between the time we placed our order and when the nachos came out, again, 45 minutes later, the waitress only stopped at our table 1. I asked the waitress for more water, and she totally forgot, we had to ask another waitress to bring it out. The service was dreadful at this place, especially considering they weren't even crowded, there were open tables. And my family wasn't the only ones to notice, the table next to us were complaining amongst themselves about how long it took to get their food, and another table got up and left without even taking the check (only had drinks at that point) because no one would service them. When the food finally did arrive, it was the most bland and tasteless food you can imagine. The nachos were essentially corn chips with shredded cheese melted on top of a few of them, half of the nachos had nothing on them. Besides the cheese, there was a huge lump of shredded lettuce and a little table spoon of guacamole, and that was all that was on the nachos. The other food, as stated previously, was just flat out tasteless and was not worth the value. Avoid this place. read more

Fiesta is 100% the real deal. I've been coming here since it was just a little hole in the wall, and believe me....the food has only gotten better. I'll admit, sometimes service can be a little iffy, but the food is so ridiculously amazing I am not bothered. Everything is fresh, the green sauce they bring you at the beginning of the meal is to DIE for, and they are always extremely accommodating. I even had my birthday dinner here & they brought me a sombrero , cake, and even sang and danced with me! Granted they know me and my family by name at this point so I can't promise the dancing :) Bottom line: the food is amazing, the prices are awesome, and the atmosphere is perfect. if you're in the area, you have to stop by! read more

I'm a huge fan of Fiesta Mexicana. It's one of the few restaurants I go to on a weekly basis. Great Food, great value, and friendly service are the reasons I keep coming back. Some of my favorites are the Beef Stir Fry with Corn Tortillias, fantastic. The Chicken Taco salad is a mainstay for me as well. How can you beat a full meal in a restaurant for $6 or $7, that also tastes great, and isn't fast food? That's tough to find in 2014. Lastly, you can not go wrong with any of the specialty dishes they have, the most expensive being around $15. Every one of those dishes I've tried have been great. Fiesta Mexicana is a locally owned business you'll come back to time and time again. Highly recommended! read more

Used to be better and friendlier. My take on it is that it used to be a very popular, smaller restaurant, but now it seems to be on the way down. Sad. Three of us, each driving for hours, were tired. Ok, we got there close to 8 pm on a Wednesday, but the hours said they were open until 10. We're from VA and MD. We'd been there before, must have been back in the day when their food was good. 2 types of chips not homemade; seasoned ones were good. Homemade Verde salsa good, red spicy; my hubby would have liked it. I ordered a burrito carnitas. Dry. Friend's salad had lots of meat, but taco shell seemed small. Her husband ordered queso dip...melted glop, not the creamy white queso I've had before. In fact, it was ORANGE! (Kraft 4 cheese Mexican blend from a bag?) with the cheese oil floating on top! He also ordered a burrito, wanted it w/o beans inside, and with red sauce. Commented it seemed like all meat. They never offered to refill my tea mug with water, let alone bring a fresh teabag; water on the table was not refilled, either. Asked if we wanted dessert. NO SOPAPILLAS???!! I mean, really, how tough is it to fry up a couple of tortillas, drizzle some honey and sprinkle some cinnamon on top? And maybe throw on a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a chocolate drizzle, if you want to get fancy. We figured it was getting close to 9 o'clock and they wanted to close up shop. But you know, they did advertise that they were open till 10. Disappointing; won't be back. read more

Very disappointed! Saw many positive reviews so decided to give this place a try. Other than the level of service, it fell very short... The chips tasted packaged like tostitos or something you buy at shop rite. Had the enchilada, taco & quesadilla combo. All three were so very bland in taste. I used to like coming here, but hadn't been in a while. We had dinner here recently and the fajitas were not so great. Chicken was bland and everything lacked flavor. No spices at all. The side of rice can feed more than two people and was over salted. I'm giving two stars only because the portion size is okay or better, but the food is not that great. I went out on a Saturday night around 7p with friends. We were seated right away. The waitress introduced herself and took our drink orders. We ordered a pitcher of the seasonal blueberry margaritas (half frozen half on the rocks); the frozen tasted like tequila and the other tasted like blueberry lol. We shortly placed appetizers and then our entrees. I ordered the fried pork chops. There was a lot of food. The entree came with a full salad Including avocado and rice. Everything was delicious. Definitely not authentic. Very americanized Mexican food. That being said, the food was good. We had shrimp tacos and Mole Pork burrito. Both were enjoyable. What was better was the hot salsa that came with the chips, and the awesome frozen peach margs. It was clean and the service was good. Definitely worth a visit, but don't go too far out of your way. I've come here and literally ordered $10 worth of guacamole. That's how good their guacamole is. Seriously. I've been here about a billion times. This place first opened 10 years ago, and it was just a hole in the wall. You literally walked in and were standing in the kitchen. Two small tables to sit at, and nothing else. They've come a looonngg way, but the food has remained fantastic. The sauces they put on your table when you're first seated are both delicious. The brown one is VERY spicy, you really only need a little bit. And the green one is just out of this world. The tortilla chips served with them are always fresh and crispy. Admittedly, I usually get tacos when I come here, but I've also had serveral other things on the menu and always been satisfied. They have a seafood and rice dish, I forget what it's called now, that is really really tasty. My only complaint there is that the shrimp were not shelled :( Rice and beans is the second best I've ever had. Margaritas are very good as well. Prices are extremely reasonable and this is such a fun place to go. The staff do tend to disappear for periods of time, so flag them down as soon as you see them. I have been to this restaurant on many occasions but have never been so frustrated. I ordered the shrimp and vegetable fajitas and was served what seems to be a chinese vegetable combo including baby corn water chestnuts and broccoli. It also tasted like the Birdseye steamer bag. If I am paying for fresh food it better be fresh or I would rather eat at home. The shrimp were also not seemingly fresh and tiny. Do not go here and do not waste your money. read more

This place I've been here twice now. I've experienced a lot of good mexican restaurants. I thought based upon its beautiful layout and wonderful service the food could've been a bit better. I ordered a combo of a sope/burrito/quesadilla. It was so absolutley miniscule. The burrito looked like a baby egg roll. Nothing was filiing. The queso they used was really weak i thought. No like the other more common mexican places. This tasted like Sargento. My aguas frescas was the highlight. However, I did enjoy my chicken tacos. But they werent especailly memorable after touring other 5 star taco spots. read more

Went here for Cinco de Mayo. We were patient, as we waited over an hour and a half when we were told approximately 45 minutes. My husband had went up to see if our table was ready and there was one large party ahead of us. So, understandably, when the next table for 2 became available, we assumed it was ours. Well, it seems as though they were attempting to give our table to "regulars" instead (a waitress was placing chips and dip at the table, along with silverware. So, I questioned the hostess and she cleared things up. When we went to the table, the original waitress took the chips, salsa, and silverware away from the table; a new waitress came. Strangely, we noticed a few servers pointing to us and commenting on something. Ironically, the people, who were slated for our table yet got there more than an hour after us, were next to be seated; the first waitress quickly provided them with utensils, chips, salsa, and waters again. We ordered immediately (nachos and a burrito). We waited another 10 minutes for water, followed by another half an hour, while we waited for our food, for refills on our waters and salsa. Forty minutes after we ordered, and after our waitress said she'd check on our order, yet walked outside, we left. I understand when a restaurant is busy, but, once you are seated, one shouldn't have to wait another 45+ minutes for nachos. We are great tippers and go out to dinner often, especially Mexican. We thought we'd give this place a try, but never again. POOR SERVICE! read more

Been coming here back when it only had 3 tables. I had just moved here from San Antonio TX, it's as good or better than anything I've had in Texas. Very nice inside now as well, they expanded it and remodeled it several years ago. The Verde sauce is the best I've ever had. Reading everybody's reviews on here I had to log in just to ask....have you guys actually eaten authentic mexican food before? Went last night for the first time because a few people raved about this place and decided to check it out. That was a mistake, apparently they had never eaten "authentic" mexican either. We should've left as soon as the chips and salsa came out to the table. The chips were store bought and tasted like they salted them extra before bringing them to the table. The salsa's they brought to the table (verde & rojas) looked to be made in-house.... the verde was "ok" but the rojas was so damn spicy you couldn't even taste it (and I like hot). Our entrees were bland and had no "real" taste, the re-fried beans were just red pintos thrown into a cup with some water (from a can) with melted cheddar on them. They were gross, had 2 bites and didn't eat the rest, same with my girlfriend. The biggest disappointment was the horchata! It tasted like a lavender incense, maybe it was some pre-mix stuff or something but it wasn't that great. Will never go back. So far our favorite in Southern New Jersey out of all the restaurants we've tried, Maria's in Berlin is hands-down the best when it comes to hospitality, quality of food, and value. Me and a friend came here for dinner. When we were asked how many in our party the hostess said "ooh, well, we only have table 9 available" as if that table was a horrible thing. We didn't care-we just wanted a table. It was strange. I had the quesadillas with chicken. The chicken was so dry. Went here for a friends birthday last week. The guacamole was fantastic and the margaritas were to die for. Problem was my tacos. Not only did they take forever to come out but my tacos (I got the chorizo thinking it would be crumbled Mexican sausage, it's not.) were SO incredibly salty that I couldn't even taste the meat or any other seasonings. I only ate half of one taco before I was so full and turned off by the amount of salt. The rice and beans weren't special either. There was a piece of a straw wrapper in the beans. Needless to say I have no intention of returning here unless I'm in the area and want a margarita. read more

I was here yesterday with my wife and my two kids, and I have to tell you that ,I was very disappointed I am a Mexican and this is not a real authentic mexican food!! On the menu says red snapper, witch that's what I was trying to order but the waitress told me that it wasn't red snapper it was tilapia ,rice it was very Dry ,taste old, the Tamal it was jut a dough and flour. the Beef Zope it was the worse I ever had. Not even the frozen drink that I order I wasn't good, I think it was peach Margarita .very disappointed I don't want to ever caming here again I rather go to Taco bell, or MacDonald. read more

Not sure what others are Yelping about here. The food is average at best. When I eat great mexican the meats should be well seasoned with authentic spices and flavors and tender as can be. That couldn't be further that the experience at this place. Trust me I have given them more than 3 chances so it's no fluke.
