It had no real flavor and we are not fans of the chopped avocado, especially when the avocados like this are unripe so they're difficult to eat. We we tried using a fork to smash them up to make it easier to eat, but they were too unripe for that. Chips are the thick, break your teeth kind. Not our style. The salsa was very hot and I usually like spicy hot salsa, but this was pretty much just hot without the flavor behind. Chicken burrito and quesa birria. The chicken burrito special was a very soupy plate of food, although the flavor was good. Birria quesadilla was tasty, but pretty greasy. The waitress was nice.

For some odd reason, mexican food is the only type of food I'll eat in a second-rate hole in the wall setting (because I think the hispanics take a lot of pride in their food). I had a couple chicken tacos and a steak burrito. The wife had the daily special - pork carnitas. Everything was excellent. The carnitas were tender as can be - just like rib meat. We were served by what appeared to be the owner himself (there working by himself). Nice guy, very good food. Only downside - it was hotter than hell inside. Surprisingly some good mexican food options in tiny Dillon, MT. ** sorry to see that there are a couple less-than-good reviews recently placed, and I cannot speak for the nachos (in reference to the poor reviews). I'm not excusing their reports, but I believe if you're looking for authentic Mexican and in turn ordering nachos, you're not really looking for authentic. The whole cheese covered nacho thing is American Mexican as I like to call it. The food is good, we keep going back when visiting family here. **
