First I want to say that I never like to give a bad review. I went here with high hopes only to have them dashed. We were a group of 5 adults and one toddler. We were seated promptly. Which is why they got one star. Our server did not speak clearly to us and his hair was covering his eyes and he kept shaking his head to move his hair. He took drink orders and messed mine up. Food was ordered and came out sporadically. The most disappointing part was the meal for the toddler came out way after everyone else's and it was making g the toddler upset because he was told his food was coming but it was delayed, never should a toddler be given no food when everyone else has an order in front of them. One order was messed up, she ordered fried fish tacos and got grilled. My order was way over salted and I couldn't eat it. We had to ask for boxes and check and then my son had to stand at the counter at least 10 min before he could pay because no one was there to take his payment. I won't ever go back. I have eaten here three times now. The first time everything was fantastic. The food and service was great. The second time I was here the food and service was good but I found out they have a lunch menu before, I think, 4:00. Both times I went the place was really busy; however, this last time there was only another couple besides my wife and I and the food was awful (overcooked and burnt). My wife got her food about five minutes before I got mine. The shrimp in her quesadilla was burnt and my enchiladas del mar were overcooked. I don't know if something changed recently but the staff was sitting around like it was normal to be this slow. My first visit would've been an easy five stars, my second four stars cause it was close to 3:00 and I wanted an early dinner not lunch. This last time was a disappointing one star, and bad enough to start looking for a new place. read more

It has one beef, one chicken and one cheese enchilada with rice and beans for $10.99, plus their great chips and salsa, but they'll customize it for you. I like to order three chicken enchiladas, instead. On my most-recent visit, I got carry-out, which was ready ten minutes after I ordered. Well it was just OK. I wanted to have dinner with some friends but it was just an excuse for them to drink tequila. I really liked my carnitas. Huge nodules of pork...yum! My friend had the fish tacos and THAT was awful. First it was cold and then she couldn't find the fish. I think they forgot to put it in. Seriously! She asked about it but they looked at her like she had two heads! The guacamole was dreadful. It was as if they forgot to add the scallions, cilantro and lime juice. I was truly disappointed. The waiters were friendly and I do believe that they were truly from Mexico or at least a Spanish speaking country. But I have to say that their food was beyond awful. We tried this place on Sunday based on the mostly positive Yelp reviews. They get 2 stars for having fast and friendly service - and this makes me feel bad for the rest of my review which is negative but honest. The food is low quality. My husband got fajitas, he said the flavor was okay but the lettuce they served with them was literally brown. I would have thrown it out at home and I'm appalled that a restaurant would put it on a plate and consider it good enough to give to a patron. I got Pollo a la Crema. It was dry and the chicken was clearly from a can. The salsa with the chips and salsa tastes l ike marinara sauce that they added peppers to. It wasn't good. The tortillas that they served with our meal were sticky, possibly because of the way they were wrapped in aluminum foil? It was weird. I didn't eat mine. This is the first time in history we didn't take our leftovers home and left a Mexican restaurant just "not hungry" instead of full. This was a big disappointment!! read more

The food is decent but the service is HORRIBLE. I've been there several times and EVERY TIME I end up getting the same server who is extremely rude. He always tries to rush me and/or cuts me off. I asked politely twice to make sure the fajita was well done....he didnt let me finish and kept saying okay, amigo. The food comes out and the steak was no where near done. I tell him that it isnt well done and he gets visibly annoyed with me I tell him not to worry and walk out. I will never return to this location. Great place to get Mexican! I work in the area and it's a favorite of ours to get lunch when we have a workday. The service is always pretty good and the prices are very reasonable. Like many Mexican restaurants, the food comes out quickly and HOT. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Although it's not stated on the menu, they do have black beans so you can swap refried beans for black beans if you prefer those. I've gotten many different items from here and I've always been pleased. During lunch I like to get the Lunch Fiesta (steak or chicken, rice, peppers, zucchini, mushrooms sautéed and covered in queso). Yesterday a few work friends and I went and I tried the Huevos Rancheros with scrambled eggs and added chorizo ($8 with the upcharge for chorizo) and black beans and it was very good. The eggs were scrambled pretty well done, but that's how I like it. If you want your eggs scrambled soft or a bit runny then make sure to tell them that because it will come out scrambled hard.
