Mid food, bigoted and rude staff and sticky seating. Not all are welcome here and it's barely worth coming in the first place.

First I want to say that I never like to give a bad review. I went here with high hopes only to have them dashed. We were a group of 5 adults and one toddler. We were seated promptly. Which is why they got one star. Our server did not speak clearly to us and his hair was covering his eyes and he kept shaking his head to move his hair. He took drink orders and messed mine up. Food was ordered and came out sporadically. The most disappointing part was the meal for the toddler came out way after everyone else's and it was making g the toddler upset because he was told his food was coming but it was delayed, never should a toddler be given no food when everyone else has an order in front of them. One order was messed up, she ordered fried fish tacos and got grilled. My order was way over salted and I couldn't eat it. We had to ask for boxes and check and then my son had to stand at the counter at least 10 min before he could pay because no one was there to take his payment. I won't ever go back. I was thoroughly unimpressed between food and service. It's too bad cause it was close to home but was a waste of money and time read more

Went the evening of 03/06. Got food poisoning. Had the fajita quesadilla. Wished the outcome was different but will not be going back.

We came with a 18 month old and a 3 year old plus 4 adults. We were seated upon entering, service was really good as well as the food. We ordered steak and chicken fajitas and hot dog and quesadilla ,will definitely be back. read more

Great strip mall Mexican food. Multiple locations but I think this one is best. Food comes out almost immediately - service is great. I enjoy supporting this place even during COVID precautions because they really deserve our business. read more

Top notch service and food! Love this place! We come back all the time for the quick service and excellent food, highly recommend

This place is a small restaurant located in a strip mall off of Tryon near food lion It is local and don't think that it is associated with any other locations. The wait staff tend to be older guys and the same guy runs the register who might be the owner We enjoy going and often find ourselves enjoying the same burrito, fajitas and quesadillas The service is always very fast with the drinks flying out with the hot plates soon after The server usually has an oven mit on his arm if that is any indication Recommend! read more

I have eaten here three times now. The first time everything was fantastic. The food and service was great. The second time I was here the food and service was good but I found out they have a lunch menu before, I think, 4:00. Both times I went the place was really busy; however, this last time there was only another couple besides my wife and I and the food was awful (overcooked and burnt). My wife got her food about five minutes before I got mine. The shrimp in her quesadilla was burnt and my enchiladas del mar were overcooked. I don't know if something changed recently but the staff was sitting around like it was normal to be this slow. My first visit would've been an easy five stars, my second four stars cause it was close to 3:00 and I wanted an early dinner not lunch. This last time was a disappointing one star, and bad enough to start looking for a new place. read more

Been looking for a good Mexican place that's still more traditional and not so "swanky-new age" vibe. THIS place was perfect! SUPER clean. Very friendly. Food was DELICIOUS and well priced. They were a little slow getting it out, but we weren't in a rush so that was fine. Highly recommend! read more

I am not a fan of Mexican food, I will never ask you to go eat it, but somehow I've been blessed with friends that LOVE it so of course I am always willing to go and find something new to try. First came out the chips and salsa which were very good and fresh. I had the chicken crema dish and it was delicious! It's....creamy... surprise! Super flavorful dish. Good portion sizes and fair prices. We had good service! read more

This place always clean with great customer service they have great attitude and love the Spanish music that they play there making me feel like I'm Mexico. Food always great!! Price very good also!! Location I love it enough parking!! So awesome Mexican Restaurant and real one too. read more

Great prices & value. Good food & super fast service! Would recommend. Family friendly as well. Good kids menu.

Food was fine but they charge a "convenience fee" AND a "Sunday fee" that you aren't aware of until time to pay. I don't mind paying the extra few bucks, but it should be included in the food prices on the menu. The hidden fees and average food means I will never go back. ‍ read more

FOOD POISONING! This place gave me food poisoning. I ordered during lunch; food came out within 5 minutes (red flag). The food was warm like it had been under a low powered heat lamp. I was starving so I ate; I truly regret it. I thought I was going to die from extreme gas, nausea, and diarrhea. My digestive system has not been the same. I ordered a togo order for my partner, and after eating a small portion of the food they had extreme gas. I will NEVER dine here again. The decor and music was cute, and the actual employees were kind; however, the sanitation and food management is EXTREMELY POOR & UNSATISFACTORY! read more

Sopa! The chicken soup was super good. I will go out of my way to come and enjoy the sopa. The lunch chicken fajitas were good--the best i have had in raleigh so far. They have quality salsa and the chips are in a separate fryer for gluten free bliss. Muy bueno! read more

Delicious food and service is great! I love the fiesta meal. So good! Chips and salsa are so good as well.

Have been going here for 10 years or so. Such a nice staff, good food, and their top shelf margarita is the best I've ever had - and I'm a long time tequila lover, don't say that lightly. Great place. read more

Delicious. Fresh. Quick. Liked everything I tried here but my favorite things are the pollo a la crema and the horchata drink. Both are so flavorful I just end up getting these every time I come here. They also bring you unlimited chips and salsa to your table and it's fresh and tasty. Enough seating for the whole family and the kids love it. What more could you want? read more

Tucked away in a strip mall, Fiesta Mexicana is a classic Mexican joint serving up all your favorites. Don't let the unassuming location fool you! The food menu features a mix of "Americanized" Mexican food along with some more authentic fare, all at a reasonable price point. The servers are always friendly and the food is prepared incredibly quickly. I love a good frozen margarita that isn't overly sweet and had a hard time finding one after moving to Raleigh last spring until I tried the one here (they also offer a version on the rocks if that your preference). Not a fan or margaritas but want to go big? No problem! Although their beer list is limited, the bucket of mini Coronas on their menu is another great way to wash down your queso and guac. read more

I am still in shock over the service I received. The server was acting like we were a inconvenience. He was beyond rude . I could hear him laughing with other tables but stern and rude at our table and all we did was sit down . The food itself was disgusting. I've never been so angry at a sever , but kept quiet because what's the point . Just wanted to inform others . My partner has been coming here since the earlier 2000s and he also couldn't believe the food or the service . Terrible ! read more

Ended up here and I'm so glad we did. The service was insanely fast, our waiter was amazing and the food was so delicious. We couldn't decide what we wanted to we both ended up with combination plates. We also got a side of guac. I highly recommend here and we will be back in the future. Everything was also very clean and the staff was wearing masks. read more

Quick, friendly, easy, inexpensive. If you want standard Mexican food that's filling and fast, this is your place. It can be crowded and loud, even on a weeknight, but you still should be able to find a table. They also have outdoor seating. The Enchiladas Verdes is my go-to dish. It has one beef, one chicken and one cheese enchilada with rice and beans for $10.99, plus their great chips and salsa, but they'll customize it for you. I like to order three chicken enchiladas, instead. On my most-recent visit, I got carry-out, which was ready ten minutes after I ordered. The man at the register was very helpful and great at multi-tasking. He handled everyone who was entering, leaving and picking up food, all at the same time. read more

I ate here on a Friday night with one other person for dinner. These are my thoughts and observations. - There was a mass of people blocking the entry way. The servers were having a hard time figuring out who was paying and who was waiting for a table. - Since it's tiny I wouldn't recommend this location for parties larger than four. - We waited 5 minutes to be seated. - The menus are falling apart and the clamps that hold the pages obscure some of the writing. - I didn't care for the salsa. - We waited 10 minutes for our meal. - I liked my food (#18 combo). The red sauce they put on the burritos is phenomenal. - The service was subpar. The waiter took our order and delivered the check. That was it; no refills or anything. - The food was reasonably priced. Overall, I would recommend Fiesta Mexicana for takeout since the food is great. Just skip the headache of dining in. read more

We order from here all the time. We've tried every Mexican place in Holly Springs and this one is fantastic. It's always so good whether we dine in or do take out. Margaritas are delicious too! read more

Well it was just OK. I wanted to have dinner with some friends but it was just an excuse for them to drink tequila. I really liked my carnitas. Huge nodules of pork...yum! My friend had the fish tacos and THAT was awful. First it was cold and then she couldn't find the fish. I think they forgot to put it in. Seriously! She asked about it but they looked at her like she had two heads! The guacamole was dreadful. It was as if they forgot to add the scallions, cilantro and lime juice. I was truly disappointed. The waiters were friendly and I do believe that they were truly from Mexico or at least a Spanish speaking country. But I have to say that their food was beyond awful. Save your money and go elsewhere. Maybe they will come to their senses and stop being lazy about the cooking. read more

Nicest people in the business. Food is always super good. Glad to have them open for dine in. And I'm glad to be back here. Thanks amigos!

We tried this place on Sunday based on the mostly positive Yelp reviews. They get 2 stars for having fast and friendly service - and this makes me feel bad for the rest of my review which is negative but honest. The food is low quality. My husband got fajitas, he said the flavor was okay but the lettuce they served with them was literally brown. I would have thrown it out at home and I'm appalled that a restaurant would put it on a plate and consider it good enough to give to a patron. I got Pollo a la Crema. It was dry and the chicken was clearly from a can. The salsa with the chips and salsa tastes l ike marinara sauce that they added peppers to. It wasn't good. The tortillas that they served with our meal were sticky, possibly because of the way they were wrapped in aluminum foil? It was weird. I didn't eat mine. This is the first time in history we didn't take our leftovers home and left a Mexican restaurant just "not hungry" instead of full. This was a big disappointment!! read more

ShadowDiner Review: Third time here. 1st time for dinner. Place was full and smelled clean and fresh when first walked in. Initial seating and chips, salsa and drinks were quick. Fresh crunchy chips and tasty salsa was a treat. Ordering was difficult with inexperienced, impatient waitress. Had to repeat order several times to make sure it was correct. Food arrived quickly and was nice and hot. Wait staff was courteous and overall experience was another good one. Atmosphere is not the best. 5 out of 10 but food quality makes up for this. Dinner with Tip came to $72.00 for four people with one medium margharita. Yes, I would suggest for quick dinner and would come again. read more

The food is decent but the service is HORRIBLE. I've been there several times and EVERY TIME I end up getting the same server who is extremely rude. He always tries to rush me and/or cuts me off. I asked politely twice to make sure the fajita was well done....he didnt let me finish and kept saying okay, amigo. The food comes out and the steak was no where near done. I tell him that it isnt well done and he gets visibly annoyed with me I tell him not to worry and walk out. I will never return to this location. I do not recommend this place only because customer service is non existent. read more

Great place to get Mexican! I work in the area and it's a favorite of ours to get lunch when we have a workday. The service is always pretty good and the prices are very reasonable. Like many Mexican restaurants, the food comes out quickly and HOT. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Although it's not stated on the menu, they do have black beans so you can swap refried beans for black beans if you prefer those. I've gotten many different items from here and I've always been pleased. During lunch I like to get the Lunch Fiesta (steak or chicken, rice, peppers, zucchini, mushrooms sautéed and covered in queso). Yesterday a few work friends and I went and I tried the Huevos Rancheros with scrambled eggs and added chorizo ($8 with the upcharge for chorizo) and black beans and it was very good. The eggs were scrambled pretty well done, but that's how I like it. If you want your eggs scrambled soft or a bit runny then make sure to tell them that because it will come out scrambled hard. The chips and salsa are always flowing and unlimited. read more

They charged me twice as much for a Strawberry Daiquiri and when asked the manager about it, he laughed and said "you enjoyed it didn't you?" The menu said $6, but I was charged $12. They said the menus we were given were old, well the price should have been honored. They were really rude. read more

Good food, fast service. Everything tasty and wait staff very efficient.

Yesterday, my husband and I went for dinner. We ordered soup for me and a vegetarian dish and a bean burrito for him. After the first taste, my husband did not like it and did not eat it. He asked the waiter to take that back and simply bring him another bean burrito instead. The waiter was extremely unpleasant and told us that we would have to pay for it. The waiter snapped that he could not serve it to anyone else. This is after only one bite! My husband offered to pay for my soup although my bowl was still full. The waiter just stood there as if we were doing something wrong. The manager said nothing until I said "You could at least say " I'm sorry". Then he said it, but that was all and he was not sorry. We walked to the register and waited to pay. The manager said "No charge". My husband made it clear we wanted nothing for free. I gave the manager a $10 bill and he gave me back $5! We've been there a few times and have never had a warm welcome from the staff- but it is close to home. Did I mention we are African American? We left calmly because everybody knows what could have happened. Makes me very angry. WONT EVER GO THERE AGAIN. Sonya Allen read more
