Cons: The food was terrible. Probably the worst Mexican food I've ever had, IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. At baseline, the place felt dirty... but when I found a tiny ant crawling on my hand it was pretty much the icing on the cake for me. Qdoba and Chipotle blow this place out of the water. But for real, DM me for some really great Mexican restaurants. Pros: Our waitress was incredibly sweet and attentive. She should probably go work at El Marichi or Rebeco, as I'm sure the lousy food she's serving is impacting her tips. Water was ice cold and refreshing. Side of cilantro I got for my soup was fresh. I have been eating out at restaurants approximately five times a week for the last 20 years. This place bar none is the worst place I've ever been to. This restaurant has it all it's greatly overpriced, it's loud and noisy, the managers and waitstaff are impolite and to top it off I found maggots in the salsa, but they didn't seem to care. Was pleasantly surprised by this place. The restaurant selection in East Bridgewater isn't great. Many have noted "great for the area" and I agree. Went here with the fam last weekend and everything was delightful! Service was fast and friendly. Margaritas were strong and tasty. I got the special Cucumber Margarita which was perfect. Food was pretty good and I know my Mexican. Everything was fresh, well presented. Things could have had a bit more seasoning but nothing was bad. I had the Steak Fajita Chimichanga which I really enjoyed although the rice was a bit dry. My mom had the Chorizo Burrito and raved about it. Guac came in cute chip cups. We come here often. Great local place with warm tortilla chips and salsa made in the kitchen. We enjoy Al and Danny's bar service. Mike is a great dining room server. On these cold days I usually enjoy the Tortilla Chicken Soup. Today we are trying the grilled steak chimichanga and the grilled chicken chimichanga. Both were great choices for a cold NE day. Got a few lunch items for take out and was impressed with flavor, freshness and portion size. We moved to the area so it was our first time getting take out. They have combos where you can pick what you want with different filling options. Husband is Mexican so we are a little picky when it comes to Mexican food. It's not super authentic but still very good. I love the chile relleno stuffed with cheese and their refried beans. Their shredded chicken is flavored with a reddish sauce. Many places have plain shredded chicken. Ask for their hot sauces, they have a green and red one and both seem freshly made. Their chips are freshly made too. My family goes there often because not only is their food great, but it's close to home and fast, which is important with young kids! We've never had to wait for a table, and they are always quick to bring over chips and salsa and to take our drink order as soon as we sit down. (I love the jalapeño margarita!) We crunched as we ordered up $2.99 margaritas. We...wait a minute...did I say $2.99 margaritas!? Damn right! Sure, they might be making the tequila in a bathtub out back, but it's really good! Do the math, folks. I had three, (3), tres margaritas for $8.97. I'd go back just for that. The free chips and salsa must really eat into their appetizer business, but I saw some great looking nachos go by. For dinner I ordered the carne asada. Skirt steak served with the usual sides of rice, refried beans and warm tortillas. The steak was tender and there was a large serving, but I found it lacking in flavor. A quick squeeze of lime straightened that out. My friend ordered the Fiesta Enchiladas. One each; beef, chicken, bean, and cheese. So this is Fiesta Mexicana, which used to be Pedro Murphys, which used to be Carmens, which used to be Sergios, which used to be Stellios. Boy has time gone by. We got here on a Friday night, and there weren't that many people sitting around. The parking lot looked promising, but that didn't pan out to many people being in the restaurant. The concierge that greeted us was very nice and immediately seated us (again, not many people there on a Friday night). It's always good when the restaurant gives you chips and salsa, I really enjoy it. They were also really good chips and salsa, so I was even more impressed. I had a bean burrito and a beef enchilada, it came with rice and beans as a side. Holy crap. If you look back to my review about El Sarape, you'll see that I really enjoyed their rice, beans and enchilada rojas, the same pretty much goes with Burrito Wraps in Brockton. I would say that the enchilada at Fiesta was good, the beef was seasoned well, and I think there was a good cheese-sauce ratio which made the experience that much more enjoyable. Where the meal really tanked was the beans. The bean burrito had very little flavor, as did the beans. They were all just bland, and I think I have a theory to describe how this happened: The manager at Fiesta Mexicana: "Hey, I've got an idea, why don't we put 0 effort into one of our sides and use all that saved effort to put in another!!!" Now, I won't say that this is how it went down, because I surely was not there (or was I? I wasn't). Maybe it was that they took the seasoning for the beans and put it into the rice. The Mexican rice was outstanding, I couldn't really get enough of it. It was so friggin delicious I could explode. I say that they screw the beans and give us double rice, and screw the bean burritos, give me rice burritos. The rice makes my bum happy, and whenever my bum is happy, I'm happy. The waiter seemed a little nervous/new to the job, so I don't really know what the hell to think. I've eaten at Fiesta twice in the past two days. In my own defense, those are the only two meals I have had in as many days. Total cost of what I ate over those two meals combined? $12. Portions? Check. Value? Check. The people working at Fiesta are very friendly. From conversation with the man I believe is the owner's son, I've discovered that Fiesta is owned by a Mexican-American family from Southern California. In my travels, I have spent quite a bit of time in SoCal. Two places do Mexican food better than Mexico, Texas and California. Customer Service? Check. Quality? Check. Family owned and operated? I've been to this place 3 or 4 times and everytime everything has been close to perfect, they give out complimentary chips and salsa that someone brings over literally as soon as you sit down, the food is pretty authentic I order the chicken chimichanga and I can never finish it, but it's delicious for sure. I called in an order for take out and was surprised when the server on the phone seemed unfamiliar with the dishes I was ordering. But then when she went over my order for me she made me realize, I had read a menu from a different Fiesta restaurant, probably in a different state. She didn't make me feel bad or say they can't make that for me, one of the cooks got on the phone telling me they could make me whatever I want.
