Nice large hall great for events and parties. I got to take some pictures at an event a week ago and it was beautifully decorated inside. Blanca and the staff are very friendly, attentive, and helpful. The dance floor lights up and there is a large video monitor so you can see what is going on from your seat if it is being televised. The parking lot is big but not big enough, and you may get trapped if they double park and block you. This is a great spot to have a party and celebrate your special event.

What a magical night for Alessandra's Quinceanera. From one year ago working with Marisol each detail was calculated perfectly. To the night of Blanca the owner was amazing. So helpful the staff went above and beyond. Our guests were fed even after the designated time. The food we chose was barbacoa it was delicious. The bartender was so attentive. Drinks were rimmed to perfection. We are so grateful to Fiesta hall for providing us so much for our money. We had 250 guests in the hall this hall was perfect. Buy the robot it for sure was a hit!!! I too read the previous reviews and got nervous, but I can promise you I had zero issues at my event. Just communicate exactly what you want Marisol and Blanca we're awesome.

Just had my daughter's quinceañera there this last Friday and everything turned out absolutely beautiful . Marisol helped me so much with everything, she saw my vision and executed perfectly . Jackie the lady that decorates is so amazing too! She helped me so much !! The food was delicious! Everyone loved it. Juan Carlos the DJ played exactly what we wanted . From beginning to end everything was perfection . Highly recommend!

This place is so unprofessional I will never recommend this place my wedding is something to be memorable instead I was embarrassed by GINA nothing is what I wanted and my walk down the aisle was ruined. They refuse to respond to my complaints well here it is my review after trying to give them a chance to make things right. Full story in photos

Quinceanera time! It's like a wedding but It's just the single girl. And we get cake and liquor!

A pleasant venue. Room for everyone, a good sized dance floor, a built in DJ booth and large stage to show off the guest of honor. The lighting is well done. Everything is lovely, or gawdy depending on your style. I would host an event here if I was a Mexican mother hosting her best daughter's quinceañera. Finding the location took 3 uturns as there is no street sign. White building, black gate, large parking lot.

I ordered an iced Americano from Trident, and then I wandered over to the large patio area to enjoy my iced Americano and the gorgeous panoramic view of San Diego. However, within barely 5 minutes of sitting in the chairs to enjoy the view, a man came out to tell me the "patio was closed." It was morning, around 8am-ish, and there were no posted signs indicating that the patio was closed. I ended up back in front of Trident Coffee with my iced Americano. Not sure why it was such a big deal that the "patio was closed" when I was the only person on the patio, there was no sign indicating is was closed, and it was quite early in the morning. So, if you order coffee from Trident, think twice before hanging out on Bikeway Village's huge patio to enjoy your coffee while looking at the morning view. Apparently, that's not okay to do (until the other shops open, I guess?) and I was somehow supposed to know to steer clear of the patio. Kudos to Trident Coffee, though. I enjoyed and finished the iced Americano!

It's on the other side of a freeway and there is not a safe sidewalk for most of the access road, Hotel Circle. I share this so people realise how isolated this hotel and all the others on Hotel Circle road are from not only UCSD, but restaurants and amenities. However, the main reason for the low rating is that a fire alarm woke us up at 4 a.m. and there was no presence from hotel staff telling us what was going on, what was the cause, where to go, or anything else. Several hundred guests were standing in the parking lot and not one hotel employee was there! Finally fire fighters showed up and turned the elevators back on, but guests were told nothing. So the absence of staff is a pretty serious omission. Finally, some compensation should have been offered because being awakened to a loud fire alarm at 4 a.m. for no apparent reason--there was no smoke or fire evident--is the opposite of a restful night. The room itself was comfortable and clean, but the location and poor handling of fire alarm is reason for low rating.

As I mentioned in my first review, this place is easily a favorite whenever we're in the area. The location is super convenient - walking distance to good restaurants, popular fast food spots, grocery stores, and convenience shops. This time, we also discovered it's just a short walk to bus stops heading to and from Imperial Beach. Once again, the stay didn't disappoint. The room was clean, cozy, and had that welcoming vibe. Bonus: as a loyalty member, having parking right out front is definitely a perk. Will be back again for sure if ever in the area.

I rarely write negative reviews, but this stay warrants an honest warning to other travelers…read more I booked Pier South Resort because it is marketed as a beachfront Marriott Autograph Collection resort. I specifically wanted a relaxing night on the beach and used 58,000 Bonvoy points expecting a premium experience. What I found instead was one of the most disappointing Marriott stays I've had. The first thing I noticed upon arrival was a strong sewage odor throughout the area. By morning, it became clear why: the beach was posted as closed and unsafe due to contamination. Calling a property a "beach resort" without clearly emphasizing that the beach is unusable is deeply misleading. The property itself felt neglected and under-maintained. The room was acceptable at first glance, but the overall hotel atmosphere suggested deferred upkeep rather than resort standards. The hot tub was closed, the pool area felt lifeless, and many spaces felt tired rather than welcoming. More concerning was the sense of insecurity. Elevators were unrestricted, my room had multiple exterior access points, the balcony door was unlocked on arrival, and there appeared to be non-guests lingering or camping around the property and beach area. As a solo traveler, I did not feel safe. What was supposed to be a premium coastal getaway turned into extra transportation costs so I could leave the area and spend time elsewhere. The "resort's" response was a modest partial-points gesture that did not reflect the seriousness of the experience. This property is not consistent with what travelers expect from Marriott or the Autograph Collection. Until conditions materially improve and marketing becomes more transparent, I would strongly recommend using your points or money elsewhere.
