Everything from booking to the end of the party was seamless They have party packages where everything is included minus the cake for a smooth, stress free, beautiful party! EVERYONE was so amazed at how beautiful everything was, the decorations! Blanca is the most amazing owner! You can tell she loves what she does and wants you to have the most amazing experience she is on top of everything, doesn't miss a beat! We signed the contract with Marisol and she is also amazing! Asks you everything you want and expect and she makes it happen! I was expecting less as it is an all included package, which A LOT of event venues in San Diego county don't have! They went above and beyond my expectations! Even seeing the venue semi decorated throughout our appointments, did not prepare me for what they had in store for us! My daughter was not 100% sure on her initial choice for decorations and Marisol made sure to set us up for a second appointment so she can be certain she would not regret her initial decision! Marisol listened to my daughter, every single thing she said she would help her make it happen and Jackie was also very sweet and attentive letting her know she could switch the decoration choices as many times as she needed so she can be 100% sure of her decision of table set up. Not once did either of them seem bothered, they both were so calm and relaxed doing what my daughter was asking. We also had an assistant helping us throughout the night, Mario! He had our backs, which helped me so much to not be stressed throughout the whole event! From my 8 year old daughter asking her if she needed anything, food, snacks, water, a drink. Helping me have glow sticks, light up head bands, light up glasses ready for the guests to just start partying. Ensuring my 15 year old (party girl), my 20 year old and my husband had exactly what they needed at all times. He was so efficient, had so much attention to detail helping me get goodies prepared for my daughter to pass around. Mario was truly the person that with the rest of the team made everything a dream come true and so stress free! Thank you Blanca, Marisol, Mario, and Jackie for making my daughter's Dream Quinceañera come to life! I am beyond happy and blessed to have chosen this event space for her quinceañera. We had gone to so many and all of them kept trying to rush us to sign a contract Marisol was the only one that told us we did not have to book right then and there. To make sure we wanted to rent their event space because a contract is a contract a d shouldn't be a decision that should be rushed! Thank you all again for such an amazing party! Her Quinceañera was just a couple of days ago, March 14, everyone is still talking about how amazing it looked and how smooth everything went! ***Forgot to mention, hall was renovated like a month or two ago, as if it was not beautiful enough when we first booked it! All of our guests were so amazed at how beautiful the event space was, oh!! and two sets of bathrooms!!! BTW most amazing cakes by igotyourcake (instagram, Tim)

Although I remember the venue being bare bones inside with light beige- ish walls... it now is such a wonderful venue location. We celebrated our dear friend's 50th birthday bash & she made it an 80s prom theme. From what I hear, she invited 100 guests- and the table/ seating arrangement was perfect. No tables/ chairs were cramped. No tables & chairs taking up space in the dance floor and there was plenty of space for guests to roam around inside. In one far corner, was the photo back drop with balloon arch. At the entryway to the cash bar, was the appetizer table and the desert table. In the other corner was the food service table, where guests were served dinner. On the menu, (think Swiss Park offered the catering service)- mixed greens w/ cranberries & light feta cheese crumbles. Roast beef slices, roast vegetables, chicken, mashed potatoes, & bread rolls. The bartender did an amazing job. A bit bummed to have to hear her explain to guests that there were no lemons/ limes available. Don't know how this could even happen. The garden area had trees lined up with lights- which gave the night sky such a beautiful glow. Plenty of parking & clean restrooms.

I ordered an iced Americano from Trident, and then I wandered over to the large patio area to enjoy my iced Americano and the gorgeous panoramic view of San Diego. However, within barely 5 minutes of sitting in the chairs to enjoy the view, a man came out to tell me the "patio was closed." It was morning, around 8am-ish, and there were no posted signs indicating that the patio was closed. I ended up back in front of Trident Coffee with my iced Americano. Not sure why it was such a big deal that the "patio was closed" when I was the only person on the patio, there was no sign indicating is was closed, and it was quite early in the morning. So, if you order coffee from Trident, think twice before hanging out on Bikeway Village's huge patio to enjoy your coffee while looking at the morning view. Apparently, that's not okay to do (until the other shops open, I guess?) and I was somehow supposed to know to steer clear of the patio. Kudos to Trident Coffee, though. I enjoyed and finished the iced Americano!

The beach had been closed to swimming while we had attended. We did not see this listed anywhere on the Bonvoy Marriout Website when we made the reservation. However, it apparently there is an area on their personal hotel webpage in which you can click an external link to check area beach conditions. They had offered some breakfast coupons to utilize during our stay to compensate for the lack of ocean swimming. They did not need to, it was not their fault that the beach had been polluted by southern waste being deposited in the ocean. However, the restaurant, that was really tasty! The food was quite delicious! There is a local coffee shop next door, not too many other options that were open at the end of June while we were there for meals.

Painting while listening to great music as the sun set over the ocean was such an incredible experience. The weather was perfect, and the entire evening was a total vibe. Our instructor, Emeli, was amazing, she made everyone feel like a true artist, no matter their skill level. We did experience a small hiccup when we first arrived due to a system glitch that wasn't the hotel's fault, but Aaliyah and the manager, Hammie, went above and beyond to take care of us and make everything right. Their kindness and excellent customer service truly stood out. From the friendly staff and great accommodations to the beautiful views and unforgettable experiences, this resort made my birthday so special. I can't wait to come back for another stay.
