Everything from booking to the end of the party was seamless They have party packages where everything is included minus the cake for a smooth, stress free, beautiful party! EVERYONE was so amazed at how beautiful everything was, the decorations! Blanca is the most amazing owner! You can tell she loves what she does and wants you to have the most amazing experience she is on top of everything, doesn't miss a beat! We signed the contract with Marisol and she is also amazing! Asks you everything you want and expect and she makes it happen! I was expecting less as it is an all included package, which A LOT of event venues in San Diego county don't have! They went above and beyond my expectations! Even seeing the venue semi decorated throughout our appointments, did not prepare me for what they had in store for us! My daughter was not 100% sure on her initial choice for decorations and Marisol made sure to set us up for a second appointment so she can be certain she would not regret her initial decision! Marisol listened to my daughter, every single thing she said she would help her make it happen and Jackie was also very sweet and attentive letting her know she could switch the decoration choices as many times as she needed so she can be 100% sure of her decision of table set up. Not once did either of them seem bothered, they both were so calm and relaxed doing what my daughter was asking. We also had an assistant helping us throughout the night, Mario! He had our backs, which helped me so much to not be stressed throughout the whole event! From my 8 year old daughter asking her if she needed anything, food, snacks, water, a drink. Helping me have glow sticks, light up head bands, light up glasses ready for the guests to just start partying. Ensuring my 15 year old (party girl), my 20 year old and my husband had exactly what they needed at all times. He was so efficient, had so much attention to detail helping me get goodies prepared for my daughter to pass around. Mario was truly the person that with the rest of the team made everything a dream come true and so stress free! Thank you Blanca, Marisol, Mario, and Jackie for making my daughter's Dream Quinceañera come to life! I am beyond happy and blessed to have chosen this event space for her quinceañera. We had gone to so many and all of them kept trying to rush us to sign a contract Marisol was the only one that told us we did not have to book right then and there. To make sure we wanted to rent their event space because a contract is a contract a d shouldn't be a decision that should be rushed! Thank you all again for such an amazing party! Her Quinceañera was just a couple of days ago, March 14, everyone is still talking about how amazing it looked and how smooth everything went! ***Forgot to mention, hall was renovated like a month or two ago, as if it was not beautiful enough when we first booked it! All of our guests were so amazed at how beautiful the event space was, oh!! and two sets of bathrooms!!! BTW most amazing cakes by igotyourcake (instagram, Tim)

Fiesta Hall took care of our last minute 25 th wedding vow renewal event on March 2026, family of 200. Man did they deliver! Food was amazing. We had Sonora barbacoa, chicken poblano our family wouldn't stop telling us how delicious their plate where and how all the servers were so polite & attentive. Marisol the party specialist listened to every detail I asked for lifted a heavy weight off my shoulders. Her suggestions worked out perfect. Mario delivered on point the day of from beginning to end there was nothing I needed that he already thought of and had it ready for me and my guests. Great team work! You are truly appreciated! We rented their photobooth Mario III assisted with a smile which made the night even more enjoyable. The bartender service were also amazing the mixologist had everyone coming back for more. They also provide refferals for photographer which I used Freddy AMAZING! & DJ Ray. The decor was beautiful made the venue look like something out of a fairytale. Definitely hiring Fiesta Hall for our next events. Thank you all again for making our special day so amazing. Blanka and your team, I want to Thank you for making our memories unforgettable.

BV has Trident Coffee, which has great cold-brewed coffee and food that pairs well with it, including vegan protein donuts! 2 Wheels Cycling Boutique has your cycling needs covered. Apparently, Coronado Brewing Company is coming soon. Sweet! BV is situated right off the Bikeway and the San Diego Bay National Wildlife Refuge. Get a cold brew and wander off to do some bird watching, or treat yourself for making it halfway down the bike path with a vegan donut or bagel. Check out what else BV has to offer: - Water refill station - Restrooms - Parking lot - Firepit You can even host private events here. See you at the Village.

I ordered an iced Americano from Trident, and then I wandered over to the large patio area to enjoy my iced Americano and the gorgeous panoramic view of San Diego. However, within barely 5 minutes of sitting in the chairs to enjoy the view, a man came out to tell me the "patio was closed." It was morning, around 8am-ish, and there were no posted signs indicating that the patio was closed. I ended up back in front of Trident Coffee with my iced Americano. Not sure why it was such a big deal that the "patio was closed" when I was the only person on the patio, there was no sign indicating is was closed, and it was quite early in the morning. So, if you order coffee from Trident, think twice before hanging out on Bikeway Village's huge patio to enjoy your coffee while looking at the morning view. Apparently, that's not okay to do (until the other shops open, I guess?) and I was somehow supposed to know to steer clear of the patio. Kudos to Trident Coffee, though. I enjoyed and finished the iced Americano!

Great location that is not far from the ocean. A good variety of stores for needs and plenty of restaurants too. It's on the other side of a freeway and there is not a safe sidewalk for most of the access road, Hotel Circle. I share this so people realise how isolated this hotel and all the others on Hotel Circle road are from not only UCSD, but restaurants and amenities. However, the main reason for the low rating is that a fire alarm woke us up at 4 a.m. and there was no presence from hotel staff telling us what was going on, what was the cause, where to go, or anything else. Several hundred guests were standing in the parking lot and not one hotel employee was there! Finally fire fighters showed up and turned the elevators back on, but guests were told nothing. So the absence of staff is a pretty serious omission. Finally, some compensation should have been offered because being awakened to a loud fire alarm at 4 a.m. for no apparent reason--there was no smoke or fire evident--is the opposite of a restful night. The room itself was comfortable and clean, but the location and poor handling of fire alarm is reason for low rating.

I rarely write negative reviews, but this stay warrants an honest warning to other travelers…read more I booked Pier South Resort because it is marketed as a beachfront Marriott Autograph Collection resort. I specifically wanted a relaxing night on the beach and used 58,000 Bonvoy points expecting a premium experience. What I found instead was one of the most disappointing Marriott stays I've had. The first thing I noticed upon arrival was a strong sewage odor throughout the area. By morning, it became clear why: the beach was posted as closed and unsafe due to contamination. Calling a property a "beach resort" without clearly emphasizing that the beach is unusable is deeply misleading. The property itself felt neglected and under-maintained. The room was acceptable at first glance, but the overall hotel atmosphere suggested deferred upkeep rather than resort standards. The hot tub was closed, the pool area felt lifeless, and many spaces felt tired rather than welcoming. More concerning was the sense of insecurity. Elevators were unrestricted, my room had multiple exterior access points, the balcony door was unlocked on arrival, and there appeared to be non-guests lingering or camping around the property and beach area. As a solo traveler, I did not feel safe. What was supposed to be a premium coastal getaway turned into extra transportation costs so I could leave the area and spend time elsewhere. The "resort's" response was a modest partial-points gesture that did not reflect the seriousness of the experience. This property is not consistent with what travelers expect from Marriott or the Autograph Collection. Until conditions materially improve and marketing becomes more transparent, I would strongly recommend using your points or money elsewhere.
