    Taco Friday after work...

Tried Fiero after work on the suggestion of a coworker...although the look and atmosphere was very chain-like, the food and flavors were actually pretty good...and what was just as good as the food was the service...the female that served us was very friendly and helpful... I do have one tip...if you are in the area and want to give it a try...they offer $2 tacos every Friday from 3-6pm...definitely worth the visit...

Fiero. It translates to wild which could easily be done by a person when ordering food here. What I mean by that is that the prices were more than reasonable especially with their BOGO offers during their anniversary deals when I went. I stopped in one day as I had no idea this place was even located near one of my work locations. Unless you work in the building where it is located, someone takes you there or like me you just happened to notice it this place will stay hidden. I went during breakfast hours and this place describes itself as Authentic Style Mexican Street Food. That sounds familiar as almost every Mexican restaurant describes their food as authentic. Actually the food was good and proportion sizes were fitting. Since it was a deal of BOGO I went with the chorizo and fire grilled steak taco. There is also an option to get potatoes which are lightly fried on your taco at no extra cost. Trust me go for it. Ingredients are fresh and when it came to the steak taco you will not be searching for steak as it is piled on. I do wish the chorizo was a bit spicier but this can be made up with the various salsas that are present. The establishment is very clean and the workers were quick with my order. Overall I would give this place a solid 3.75 stars. I really can't go all out as I only had their breakfast items. With it being so close I am sure I will be able to sample their other menu items soon to get a better opinion of their food. So far definitely not a disappointment and worthy of a return trip.

OK. Bottom line this is the place to go for an amazing authentic Mexican fast food meal! I ordered the Molido (vegetarian mix) bowl. . I got corn salsa, tomato salsa an onion and cilantro mix,, mixed vegetables, black beans, lime, green peppers, red peppers, onions with sour cream and a cilantro lime sauce! Incredibly Flavorful and spicy as it needed to be! Can't believe I'm saying that they're better than Chipotle Mexican Grill with way more options! Did I mention the larger portions in larger bowl than the aforementioned??

Fish tacos, no onion. They forgot the rest, (coleslaw) and dispatched my order.

I have been here several times and my orders have been consistent. Unfortunately, today I decided to try the online app and ordered 2 tortilla encrusted fish tacos without onions. I literally got the fish and the tortilla, no coleslaw, no anything else that is supposed to come with it. Thus my 3 stars. I am not able to return my order since I was in a rush from work. Additionally, the restaurant was empty so I do not understand why they did not get my order right. Maybe it was a one time miss, but unfortunately I am eating a sad lunch now. They are not usually like this. Tip: it's better to place the order by phone or go in person. That way the order will come out right.

I had steak tacos. It was okay. The food was fresh but would've been better if seasoned more. The place was clean and was not hard to find.

I guess they give you arepas (or maybe they ran out of tortillas) with it. I wasn't upset by the arepas. The aqua fresca was good and I also tried a chicken burrito which was good. The chicken was seasoned but not as flavorful as the carne asada. I also enjoyed their chips. It wasn't like Tostitos. I will be coming back here to try more items and I will be eating the carne asada again.

The place is clean and nicely decorated to represent Mexican culture. We got a menu and we sat down. We were the first ones to arrive and two more couples came after us. Although we're the first ones to arrive, the staff took deodorant of the Latino family first. When she came to her to take her order, I asked her why she took their order first when my husband I arrived before hands. She went ahead to say the Latino couple who spoke Spanish with her, had called in. I found it hard to believe because if they had called then why did she have to take their order again & mind you, I spoke Spanish with her. My husband's ready to leave, however, since the reviews were decent we stayed. We ordered nachos, chicken with cheese and jalapeño cheese pupusas, as well as two tacos. The food lacked some flavor and personally I did not like the chicken pupusa, perhaps because my stepmother makes them really good. I don't think I'll come back here. I believe in making a review, I consider everything from the time that you walk into the door until the time you depart. Favoritism may not be appealing to all the customers, especially in a small environment.

I don't normally drink when I go out but I was feeling a bit wild that night. She recommended a drink called "la suegra", I'm not to sure how to describe it but it was very nice. It scratched the back of my throat in a pleasant way, I had to order a second one. I then ordered food, which I was a little intimidated by the scale of their menu. The tacos asada were delicious, and the paired salsa was amazing. I ordered a red salsa against my better judgment and found to spicy, but the flavor was still spot on. Very impressed with the food and atmosphere, not used to such welcoming staff in Maryland. I just want to draw attention back to the wonderful bar staff, the young lady was very on it. Even in the rush she was very attentive and kept up her friendly attitude. I never got a chance to speak to the gentleman working with her but he was just as busy as she was. The customers he was assisting looked as happy as me. Great job soluna, you guys really live up to the name "tequila bar". We didn't stay for the DJ, but the atmosphere was already lively and fun while we were there. We ordered margaritas, empanadas, and the octopus. The margaritas were decently strong, had great flavor, and were about double the size of what you typically get at most restaurants (a win in my book)! The empanadas were a 10/10! Absolutely delicious. The dough was perfectly crispy without being too hard, and they were fully stuffed with ground beef and cheese. I'll definitely be thinking about those empanadas for a while! Now, the octopus was my first time ever trying octopus, so I didn't really know what to expect. It came out sizzling and the presentation was great, and there was even a good of amount of shrimp (head on) on the side, which I didn't realize came with the dish.. It also came with a side of rice beans and the choice of corn or flour tortilla. The flavor was absolutely amazing. You could really taste that fire-grilled flavor. For the most part, the texture was good as well. However, the thicker bottom portion didn't seem to be cooked all the way through and had a very fatty texture. We asked our waiter if they could put it back on the grill, and he took care of it with no problem. Service was really great. Our waiter was on top of everything and got every part of our order right. Parking was easy, and the restaurant itself has plenty of seating. Although I didn't stay for the DJ, I have a feeling this place turns into a really good time later in the evening. I'd definitely recommend Salsa Brava, especially for happy hour...and I'm absolutely coming back for those empanadas!

I don't recall what item she got, but I always kept it in the back of my mind. I am rarely in this area. One of my best friends just moved nearby with his wife, and my girlfriend and I were hungry after visiting. On the way to another spot, I spotted it and we agreed to give it a try. There were some nice tables outside, but we decided to sit at the bar once we checked in at the host stand. At the time, there were only two empty ones on the end, but the people next to us soon left. There was a phone charging right in front of where I was sitting, it wasn't long before the guy belonged to politely unplugged it and said that we could use the charger if we needed to. I'm guessing he was the owner. We got menus I looked over what we might have wanted. I was a little surprised by how expensive the tacos were, I was like geez we're not even in DC haha. The drinks were first. They have a variety of margaritas, and I opted for the spicy hibiscus and it was fantastic. My girlfriend got the mezcal brandy one which was very strong. For food, I was debating between crab shrimp and mole enchiladas. I usually don't get them because I find them too cheesy (as a pizza lover, I know). But I was feeling adventurous. The lady said to try the seafood ones, so I did. That sauce was immaculate. I haven't had a lot of enchiladas, but I do know that these were the best I have had to date. We shared taquitos too which were good. Yeah, based on this experience I would definitely come back. I recommend it to anyone in the area too!

This is also the kind of place that delivers squeeze bottles of red and green salsa with the meal, which is always a good indicator of a great Mexican place, in my opinion.
