I didn't take long to decide on my 555th review! Fiero won that honor! I was weighing a couple of possibilities. My 554th review was the only other restaurant I've eaten at in Annapolis Junction. I looked up what 555 days ago, which was Friday, January 12, 2024. I looked at my pictures to see if I have a restaurant related pic, and I did, Fiero! 555 days ago, it's been too long, need to come back, but it's not that convenient even though I don't live that far from here. They are only open for lunch Monday-Friday, cater to the office crowd in the area. My girlfriend I had in 2023 recommended this place. I had mentioned Chipotle (being near my home), and she said no, no, no, you got to try Fiero. Chipotle is all well & good, but Fiero will blow it out of the water. Our relationship wasn't right, but she was right on this one! Wow, the burrito was huge & amazing. The line was long, but it moved efficiently. Staff was nice answering any questions I had. I'll need to return one of these weekdays for lunch. read more

Fiero Mexican Grill used to be my go-to, when I worked around National Business Parkway. It is set-up similarly to Chipotle. You pick your base, your toppings and then head to the register to checkout. During my recent visit, I had the Mango Tango Salad with the mango. The salad was very filling and quite tasty. The price is slightly higher than competitor, but not by much. The inside of the restaurant reminds you of a typical taqueria. Decorated tastefully and colorfully, very inviting. While the space is quiet spacious, I can see how they can fill up quick considering their aren't many lunch offering in the area. I've always opted to grab and go, rather than dining in. The service is efficient, not very fast. The staff is fairly friendly, they get the job done. All around good experience. read more

Okay... I understand that this might be a hot take... I don't like Fiero's that much. To be fair, I have only eaten here twice, but I wasn't particularly impressed either time. The line is always CRAZY long and the food (in my opinion) is just fine. Like very average. I don't know how else to explain it. It's always just way too chaotic for me, honestly. Like even if you want to eat inside, especially during lunch hour, its so loud and busy, and the staff doesn't get a lot of time to get to the dining room to clear off tables and such during the lunch rush. I mean if you're into this place, more power to you, but for me, it's just... fine. Nothing special. DEFINITELY NOT worth standing in that longgggg line (again... in my opinion!) read more

This is an ideally located restaurant in the middle of a business park. They are quick to process orders making it great for the professionals in the area. Came here for National Burrito Day - super grateful for the $5 burrito specials. I was reminded as to why I haven't eaten more than once before. The food is just ok. There's nothing amazing about it but nothing off putting either. I got an Al Pastor burrito - the meat was fine. I find it interesting that for the regular price ($8.95 + tax), onions/peppers, jalapenos, corn, etc are all up charges. So for the included price, was able to get rice, meat, tomatoes, onions, cheese, and some sour cream. Competitors of similar price offer a lot more for the value. I think this place sticks around because of the convenience. There is parking in front but it does fill up during busy lunches (especially if it's a nice day out), so you may have to park in a nearby building lot. read more

Tried Fiero after work on the suggestion of a coworker...although the look and atmosphere was very chain-like, the food and flavors were actually pretty good...and what was just as good as the food was the service...the female that served us was very friendly and helpful... I do have one tip...if you are in the area and want to give it a try...they offer $2 tacos every Friday from 3-6pm...definitely worth the visit... read more

I have been a patron of Fiero for the past six years as I work in the building where it is located. I absolutely love their al pastor tacos. I went to get two tacos last week and was told that I now have to buy a combo. I don't want to pay an extra $5 for a drink and chips that I don't want. I can't imagine going to Mcdonalds for nuggets and being told that I HAVE to also pay for fries and a drink. Until they change this new policy, I won't be coming back. read more

It's all good, very good - hey, that cilantro-lime sauce that comes in those little souffle cups; I drank the contents. Who does that? I dumped that sauce and the fire roasted homemade salsa - over chips, on top of my tacos and into my mouth, while at work. I had sauce everywhere and was happy management stayed in their offices. This was kinda embarrassing. The sauce flavors were bright, tingly - the chips, super crunchy, kinda thick and my taco held flavorful pork and fresh veggies. Coming from a person who really doesn't like Mexican food, this is enormously high praise. I can't wait to go back! read more

Fiero. It translates to wild which could easily be done by a person when ordering food here. What I mean by that is that the prices were more than reasonable especially with their BOGO offers during their anniversary deals when I went. I stopped in one day as I had no idea this place was even located near one of my work locations. Unless you work in the building where it is located, someone takes you there or like me you just happened to notice it this place will stay hidden. I went during breakfast hours and this place describes itself as Authentic Style Mexican Street Food. That sounds familiar as almost every Mexican restaurant describes their food as authentic. Actually the food was good and proportion sizes were fitting. Since it was a deal of BOGO I went with the chorizo and fire grilled steak taco. There is also an option to get potatoes which are lightly fried on your taco at no extra cost. Trust me go for it. Ingredients are fresh and when it came to the steak taco you will not be searching for steak as it is piled on. I do wish the chorizo was a bit spicier but this can be made up with the various salsas that are present. The establishment is very clean and the workers were quick with my order. Overall I would give this place a solid 3.75 stars. I really can't go all out as I only had their breakfast items. With it being so close I am sure I will be able to sample their other menu items soon to get a better opinion of their food. So far definitely not a disappointment and worthy of a return trip. read more

In summary - pretty good steak and tiny portions at inflated prices. I ordered a steak burrito today. For $10.50, I was expecting a fairly sizable burrito like those from Qdoba or Chipotle, especially when you consider that they're *cheaper* than Fiero. Nope. Think small grocery store freezer section burrito. This should've been at least 50% bigger for that price. There was a decent, flavorful portion of grilled steak in it, along with diced onions and cilantro, but absolutely nothing else. I also received two containers of the red pepper salsa rosa, which tasted like a thinned-out mayonnaise mixed with some red peppers. If I'd had a bigger burrito, I might've actually needed both containers, but I only need ~2/3 of one of them. The included sides were pretty non-descript affairs. Cups of a mildly-flavored cilantro white rice and salted black beans were included, which should've gone into the burrito itself. There was also a cup of "zesty" coleslaw, which had a couple of pineapple chunks and an unidentifiable citrus flavor. That wasn't very good, so I ended up tossing it. Assembly-line fast casual places are everywhere, and Fiero doesn't match up to most of those. They are better than Cal Tort though, which has the blandest Mexican food this side of an Old El Paso box. Oh, and I didn't get my free guacamole by adding the "FREEGUAC" code. read more

The only way I can describe this place is it's a higher price chipotle. Now the food is good or similar to which we get at chipotles my two star review is based on what they charge for as an extra. I have been there a couple of times as a change of pace to bringing my lunch. I usually get a rice bowl with a tortilla on the side. I add various ingredients but one in particular is corn. Now when you ask for corn they put it in a little cup with cover. They will not mix it into the bowl (like I like it). Corn cost extra and I am willing to pay. I just would like it in the bowl. I ask them to put it in and keep the little cup with my bowl so I am charged for the corn. Nope can't do it. They say the cashier needs to see it. OK. Bottom line this is the place to go for an amazing authentic Mexican fast food meal! I ordered the Molido (vegetarian mix) bowl. . I got corn salsa, tomato salsa an onion and cilantro mix,, mixed vegetables, black beans, lime, green peppers, red peppers, onions with sour cream and a cilantro lime sauce! I went there today based on the suggestion of my foodie UPS driver. HA! I got the fire grilled spicy steak torta with a side of cabbage and elote. The torta was excellent, I love the red pepper salsa roja , I added grilled onions/veggies, added Pico and guac. Based on this sandwich alone, I will return. The cabbage is a great compliment to the torta, but the elote was not good to me. First of all, I wasn't expecting the elote to come in a little side condiments container, and the corn was definitely over cooked. But I will be back. read more

I had steak tacos. It was okay. The food was fresh but would've been better if seasoned more. The place was clean and was not hard to find.

I have been here several times and my orders have been consistent. Unfortunately, today I decided to try the online app and ordered 2 tortilla encrusted fish tacos without onions. I literally got the fish and the tortilla, no coleslaw, no anything else that is supposed to come with it. Thus my 3 stars. I am not able to return my order since I was in a rush from work. Additionally, the restaurant was empty so I do not understand why they did not get my order right. Maybe it was a one time miss, but unfortunately I am eating a sad lunch now. (9/8/2016) Weird, unassuming Chipotle knock-off hidden in the underbelly of a corporate office park, but not quite like any other office park anywhere else. This office park surrounds the NSA, everything is mirrored windows, non-descript business signs with vague company names that you might have heard of, but don't know what they do. Tip off when you walk in the foyer, men in uniform from various branches of the armed forces, packs of computer science dudes, key card access to operate the elevators, no receptionists. I feel like I was dropped into a bad version of "Enemy of the State." If you see the sign that says "do not go this way unless you really, really want to go to the NSA," take heed, they're for realz. The street tacos here (corn and flour tortillas) and burritos are really way better than Chipotle, honestly, more authentic feel to it. Toppings are marinated cabbage, diced white onion, cotija cheese, crema, and an array of very tasty and complex salsa roja and verde. Elote has butter, red chile powder, cotija, and crema. Refried Black Beans are scented with ground, toasted coriander. They fill the tortillas chock full with meat and veg, to the point where you can't pick them up, but I'm not complaining, the food was really good. I was initially a touch skeptical, but got a taco with the Tortilla Crusted Fish. Really large filet, likely tilapia or swai, freshly fried with a great, corn-y, crunchy crust. Steak Taco was seriously half steak slices, well-marinated, highly seasoned, tender (not chewy at all). There's seriously only 3 places within walking distance of this complex and they get full to the brim every single day, but they seem to be well-staffed and equipped to handle the lines on the days I was there. They must be used to it. Tacos were $4 a piece but really one taco would have sufficed for me, prices reasonable considering volume of food. If you're out this way (you probably have some kind of security clearance and you're a Fed), def recommend this place for lunch. read more

I give fiero 4 stars for the conveinence, I like having an option that isn't subway or a cafe type shop. The portions are generous and I have never been able to finish a bowl or burrito in one setting. I like their toasted vegetables and I prefer the way they serve their meat over chipotle or other similar carry out places. My only complaint is that the times I have ordered ahead, they didn't start the order until I arrived. read more

I will never find myself caught in this bootlegged Chipoltle again. The meat is dry and cold; almost as cold as the shoulder the employee gave me when I ordered. She was rude, quiet and resistant to any changes I wanted to make to my order. When asking for a different salsa, I was met with a roll of the eyes. The environment is filled with loud, obnoxious music, and takes away from the ability to talk with friends and family. I am frustrated I went out of my way to try this establishment's food. We will no longer order from here. We have ordered from here 3x. The general Manager Wendy delivered the food as usual but this time she was very rude and she called me a "bleep" in her dialect not knowing I can speak and understand her very well. We have ordered from here before so not sure what the issue was. I started to ask her why she didn't call so she wouldn't have to walk all the way around to the back with a huge cart full of food but before I could finish talking, she cut me off and told me I should have put that in the instructions. I told her the instructions clearly say call and call and call! She brought this huge cart of food into the lobby of the branch. I would have told her off and told her to take her food back had I not had members in the branch and consultants of 50 people waiting to eat lunch. I later tried to reach Mr. Northern at WJP Rest. with out any luck. I will continue to attempt to reach him. She has been the general manager at this location for a while but her behavior and disrespect was unwarranted and uncalled for. Avoid this place until they get new management. read more

I only got one taco it was supposed to be topped with pico de gallo and all I had was chopped onions the steak had very little flavor. Quick stop for southwestern flair in the business park. Facility is crowded but clean and service is fast. Online ordering makes grab and go a breeze. The menu items are completely customizable with a wide variety of ingredients. You can build your own burrito to rival Moe's or Qdoba. Portions and flavors are good. Definitely a good alternative to the tired old Subway next door or your office cafe, and a solid staple when the food trucks are not available. read more

Ordered from Fiero last night for the first time after a co-worker's recommendation. Close to my work and a convenient stop on my way home so I went for it! Decided to get a few items to try for my son and I. Fish and chicken bowls - super delish! I read here where someone said it was bland - if you put their salsa over the bowl - that tops it off perfectly! I ate my bowl with some tortillas and it was really good. I used the online app to order and i set the pick up time for right after I got off of work - when I walked in the door, right on time the friendly lady at the counter was just finishing my order. Everything was FRESH and HOT and our order was perfect! Their chips are very good - not bagged generic tostitos, but more like a crisp handmade pita chip! And no long line to wait in like at Chipotle! We will definitely be going back! read more

Delish! The food is always fresh and tasty! Fiero serves breakfast in the am which is awesome! Nothing like a breakfast burrito. They are located next to Subway down the block from the many corporations that service the Ft. Meade customer. Friendly. Clean. Tasty. Plenty of parking outside. They also do catering which is just as fresh and delish! They make fresh guacamole daily, and it is good! I ordered lunch for pickup before 1100 online. I ordered a salad bowl with chicken and all the fixings. I also ordered a side of elote and chips and salsa. It was ready when I arrived though it took a couple of minutes for someone to notice me standing at the register. It smelled wonderful. When I opened everything up, my disappointment began. They gave me a rice bowl, not a salad bowl. While the size was large it was mostly rice. The chicken was delicious. The rice, however tasted like the instant rice you buy from the supermarket. Not good. There were barely any veggies. I had requested red cabbage as an add on to my salad but they put it and the watery sour cream in side containers. I get putting the sour cream like that considering it was so watery but why the cabbage? The cabbage was delicious, it had been made with some sort of sauce. This wasn't notated on the menu. There were maybe three large pieces of pepper and no onions that I could see. There was a little bit of cheese but probably less than an eighth of a cup total. The pico de galló was not great and not flavorful. The salsa which I ordered was supposedly their hottest but it wasn't hot at all. The chips were and odd mixture of what looked like commercial corn tortilla chips and overcooked and too thick handmade flour tortilla chips. Neither were good. The elote was delicious. I have mixed feelings about trying them again. Maybe their other dishes are better. The chicken was very good, so it's possible. A group of us decided to try this one day. We fell in love. In fact we eat here once a week, if not more. The first time we ate here I ordered the Steak Taco's. I did not have to search for the steak as others mentioned its piled on high, and by far it's one of the best tacos I have ever had. My Coworker ordered the Mango Tango salad and said its the best salad shes ever had. I was feeling adventurous, the next time and ordered 2 steak and 1 Chorizo tacos, to give it a try. OH MY GOSH they are my new favorite item. I look forward to ordering them every week. The Chorizo is cooked perfectly and has a great flavor, and again they do not skimp out on the meat. I was in early for a meeting nearby and had time for breakfast (about 8am). Since this is in a large office park, there are only a few options and this was clearly a better choice than the subway next door. ! I ordered a steak breakfast burrito - although the meat was already cooked, the preparer put it on a hot grill,cracked a fresh egg over it, gave it a scramble, then put some fried potatoes on the grill next to it. Then she took a very large flour tortilla, heated it up in the tortilla machine and then assembled my burrito with the freshly cooked food from the grill. I had my choice of 3-4 salsas (chose 2), some raw diced onion and shredded cheese. When the burrito was rolled I paid the cashier for it and a coffee and sat down in a booth to eat. The burrito was huge and. I Could. Not. Finish. It. I was not hungry until just about dinner time after *almost* finishing that burrito! Lots of flavor, good salsa,evenly distributed ingredients. Great deal for $4.50 The only down side was the coffee, which was pre-brewed and dispensed from an air pot. It was some kinda weak, watery, cheap-diner quality stuff passing as coffee. read more

Quantity over quality and affordability must be Fiero's model. For over $12, you too can experience a bland steak burrito bowl with a drink. I did not even bother adding cheese or much else since they up charge for many non salsa sides. You get a lot of steak and a lot of everything else too so if you are looking to be full, then maybe Fiero is your calling.The steak is cut in strips and reminds me of a london broil cut. Reasonable tenderness, but much like the rice, beans and pico de gallo, there isn't much flavor or originality. Similar to its next door neighbor Subway, Fiero is a very basic lunch option that makes you feel silly for not making something almost identical at home. read more
