The place is clean, has a great vibe, and the front desk staff is always friendly and helpful. My stylist, Karla, is the only person who can get my hair right. I have super thick hair that has a good amount of curl to it. Finding salons that want to work WITH my hair and not against it is not easy. Karla is also great at helping you out when you aren't sure what you want. Great place, ambiance, crew, location, lots of parking from the front or back of salon, pricing was like any other salon even cheaper bec I have a very long hair and they didn't charge me so much. Everyone were cheerful to each and everyone's makeover. Very clean and you'll feel safe esp during this pandemic you see them sanitize every spot every use literally. Good teamwork and even the lady from the front desk was doing so much. I was at the right place at the right time. Karla was the pro assigned to me and that young lady did an amazing job from color, to blow dry and styling. She's kind and accommodating to every request but I asked her opinion towards the end and went on with lighter color and no regrets. Don't recommend. After I saw a living social coupon, I decided to try Fierce salon. Very cold and unfriendly place. I felt like l was not welcome a minute I walked in. The first thing I was told that Ill need a toner which is extra $40. I refused since I never needed a toner previously so receptionist looked very unhappy. The girl who cut my hair didn't speak English but did a good job overall. When I came to pay, I was told there is $20 up charge for a long hair. I always have the same length of hair and NEVER had up charge in any salons. When I mentioned that, receptionist was very rude and told me that I have a lots of hair. That's was a lie, actually my hair are very thing. Keep in mind, if you want to use a coupon, they will try get extra money from you other ways. I called to make an appointment and was told there would be an up-charge of up to $20 for thick or long (past the shoulder) hair.......Yes, an extra $20 if the scissors must be leveled below your shoulders. This salon is great! I received the best haircut I have ever had from Belkis and I will never stop going back. On Tuesdays it is $18 for a haircut and wash for students, can't beat that! I love this place. I recommended my mom and she loves it as well. If you recommend 5 or more people, you can get up to 40% off of any service! Great deal. My Daughter got a haircut for her birthday at this salon and she came home crying because they cut it way too short. Another stylist had to fix Maya's (employee) mistake because it looked horrible. After asking the hairdresser to fix the haircut, they said it was my daughter's fault. They even CHARGED her for the haircut. Extremely unprofessional salon and use unethical business practices. I had a wonderful experience at Fierce Salon - I presented my Groupon (scheduled in advance) and was greeted by stylist Raquel. She was absolutely wonderful and very pleasant. She assessed my hair and advised treatment. Originally going for just a wash, dry and cut I ended up coming out with healthy, shiny and soft hair. I was very pleased with her, her knowledge of hair care and will definitely be making future visits to her. The salon in itself was a very clean and pleasant environment. Worst haircut of my life. Supercuts would have done a better job. I purchased a Groupon and they charged me an extra 15$ bc my hair was thick. My hair is above my shoulders, but bc it was thick I had to pay an extra 15$. Ridiculous. The next day after I got my hair cut; I had washed it and straightened it and my layers were so choppy. I now have to wear my hair up all the time until it grows out bc it looks so bad. My hair is so uneven it shows in my ponytail. I will NEVER go back or refer anyone to them ever again. read more

I bad my underarms waxed last week and it was a HORRIBLE experience. The hard wax wouldn't get hard and she was ripping off my skin, my arms were bleeding. My hair has grown back right away, meaning she didn't wax my underarms properly so I paid for nothing. Good, clean salon. Decorated and furnished nicely. Everyone, receptionists and hair dressers, seem very nice. I came in using a Groupon which seemed very confusing for Daizi (daisy), the beautician I worked with. She hardly spoke any English so she had to get another girl to help translate. She seemed to understand what type of cut I wanted and how I wanted it styled. The cut turned out nice and even I believe. But I was very disappointed in the styling. I wanted very loose waves and instead ended up with a look from the Jetsons. Curled and flipped up ends. I tried showing her the picture a few times while she was styling and she just said "no, this looks very nice." Fierce Salon was formerly Gisu Salon and Spa. Last year I purchased a 200.00 gift certificate for my wife. Gisu changed hands and is now Fierce and the owner refused to honor the gift certificate. I know he is not legally responsible but I find it a terrible business practice to turn away what could be a regular customer. read more

I went here to get a simple coloring, I wanted a subtle ombre because I loved the way it looked. The woman gave me streaky blonde highlights instead, which I was trying to be nice about when I said that this was not really what I wanted. They tried to tell me it was exactly what I asked for and when i politely said no, they tried to "fix" it but it only made it worse. So I asked to have my money back since it is not what I wanted and now I feel so uncomfortable with my hair. They told me no. They said I can come back on a different day and they will fix it even though they did exactly what I asked......Uhm no you didn't. And why do I need to change my plans and come back to a salon that messed my hair up? I just want my money back so I can take my business somewhere else and they can actually fix what you messed up, and maybe give me a little bit of my confidence back in the process. I pad for a service that you did not perform and instead of just refunding me the money, you refuse and tell me I need to make an appointment on a different day to have you mess it up even further? I tried to be civil about it but frankly being treated like all I am is money and you don't care about me, my hair, or how I feel is no way to run a business.
