Cool little shop too, and I tbh I did enjoy some of the responses from the owner to a handful of digs on this platform too haha. More SBO should be this genuinely engaged. I'm still…read morefairly new to shooting - I've gone with my brother a few times since he's military but I've only recently invested into it myself. Hearing about this place from the manager at Sharpshooters in Springfield I figured I'd give it a try. It was more than worth the trip for multiple reasons. They have a beautiful selection of firearms, accessories, and other trinkets and for very reasonable prices might I add. Getting down to the nitty gritty, the range experience was phenomenal and my dad and I felt extremely welcomed and respected. The range operation is solid and reasonable but what really topped things off for me was the staff. From entering the store and getting a breakdown of range rules to being out on the range and getting guidance from the RSO's. I want to give a huge shoutout to Alan and I believe his name was Jake (forgive me if I got it wrong) but it was a younger guy who used to be a deputy. Both of them were awesome man. Jake helped me sight in my pistol I've been struggling to zero and he gave me tips and pointers genuinely. Alan did the same but for my new rifle scope and was really thorough and genuinely as well. That's something I really appreciated and took into consideration while being there. I won't sit here and say I'm a know it all and if there's something I don't know I'll say that. I wasn't looked at like I was dumb, instead I was helped out and taught well. High regards for this range and I'm really glad I have the opportunity to get out to this range when I can.
