When my son got engaged I approached Mike and asked if he'd be interested in taking their engagement photos. Mike was hesitant at first because he didn't feel he had much experience taking pictures of people. Lucky for us he accepted the challenge and to say the least, the photos came out perfect. We live in a beautiful area and Mike took his time planning different locations to have fun with the shots; from jumping off boulders to up in the mountains to near flowing streams. He knew just where they should go to get the perfect photo. Then the time came to choose a wedding photographer and my son, daughter-in-law-to-be, and I knew we wanted Mike to capture the special day. Again this would be his first wedding shoot but after having so much fun with the engagement photos he was excited to do the job. The wedding was out of town and Mike made sure to be at the location the evening before with us so he could scope out the venue, including the lighting at the time the wedding was to take place, the grounds and landscaping, and inside the building that would host the reception. Thanks to all detail he paid attention to, the special day was captured beautifully. I can't express enough how professional Mike is to work with and how perfect the photos he takes come out. Anyone looking for a photographer that cares about his work, cares about the customer, and takes the time to make the occasion extra special, Mike is the right choice.

Our wedding was very DYI and took a lot of family helping. We had no idea what we were doing and having Nicole and Michael helped soooo much. They gave us so much good advice!! Even down to where we should have our first dance!! We had it set up inside and right before Nicole said "with that view you have to do it outside". We were like "ok done"!!!! I was scared to dance on grass, but It was perfect and the pictures were unbelievable, and we don't even have our professional ones back yet!! So thank you Nicole for changing it up!! The sweetest couple in the world... They helped with things they didn't have to! Micheal even cut our cake and helped our caterer set up the desserts.... literally I do not think our cake would have been cut if it wasn't for them! The whole time they were looking for ways they can help. We are so thankful for them!!! The music was also awesome. We wanted the day to feel wild, romantic, humble, and enchanting, and it really did. She was so easy to work with - creative, professional, and personable. She listened to what we wanted and also guided us with her expertise in a direction that worked with the setting, season, and practicality of flowers. We received so many compliments on the floral arrangements. Would highly recommend Jacky and Alpenglow Gardens!
