Not entirely sure but it looks like it could be the only Indian food restaurant in town. It has two…read moreseparate spaces - the pub and the restaurant. The restaurant is spacious, relaxing, and has a fireplace, maintaining a warm atmosphere. We were immediately asked if this was our first time, and then provided some recommendations. Food came fairly quickly - maybe a 15min wait. Server was attentive to the ongoing need for water (that's what happens when ordering the hottest level of spice). Many reviews on here talked about the chicken tikka masala - I agree with the positive comments. It was delicious. The portions are large because I was able to have two full plates and still take a lot home. Just one word of warning: be prepared to suffer if picking the hottest level of spice!

This review is on my hubby's and son's experience. They enjoyed their food as usual. My hubby…read moreordered me Butter Chicken and Naan. My son and hubby ordered their dishes. Mine didn't come out with theirs, so it was forgotten. It was busy tonight because not many places were open. We asked about my dish, and she said she would order it and it would take 10-15 minutes. My guys ate their food by the time my dish came. When it was set on the table, it was definitely not what I had in the past. I put one on my plate and it was stuffed with what I later found out from server what it was. She explained I wanted the Chicken Tikki Masala. My guys were already done eating. I said forget it, I was not wanting them to wait another 15 minutes. So I didn't eat tonight. What was brought to me did not look appealing. I waited all day for this meal, It's been a hot minute since we have been here. The guys enjoyed their dishes. My server apologized about the mistake. She was nice, and I'm sure we will return. 12/25/25

Baracoa Cuban Restaurant - Patio

It is all made to perfection and there is not one thing we don't love. For about $32 dollars you can get Havana Bites, it is a taste of some of their great items. It comes with Beef & Chicken Empanadas, Papas Rellenas, Platanos Fritos and Yuca Frita all served with Rico Sauce, which is so great. All of their empanadas are great and you can get just one or a bunch. We often get some to take home. The Papas Rellenas is so good and so nicely priced. It is two mashed potato balls stuffed with Cuban picadillo, then breaded and fried to perfection. I love potatoes so I love to get this. We also take these home. They heat up so well. The service is great and they are very friendly. Parking is easy and there is not usually a wait. I am not sure if they take reservations, so call them and check. The place is comfortable and pretty.

First time here as part of a car club run in the area. Cuban cuisine is a top choice on my list of…read moredining experiences. I ordered the Mar Y Tierra which is Rabo Encendido and shrimp served with rice, black beans, and plantains. The Rabo Encendido was actually quite spicy with a pronounced chile kick. (I am used to the dish being more on the savory side rather than spicy.) This was definitely a "tail on fire" experience. The oxtails were tender and plentiful in regard to portion size. There was a good mix of oxtail sizes. As the portion size was generous, there was plenty enough for three meals. Shrimp had a crisp, snappy texture which came with careful preparation in an alkaline solution. This was a good shrimp enhancement. There was an ample portion of shrimp in the dish as well. The black beans had a good flavor but the accompanying steamed white rice could have used a bit of seasoning to overcome the inherent blandness. Plantains were ripe and cooked tender with a caramelization on the edges. Mar Y Tierra was pricey at $49 but the generous portion size of the meal made it a good value. The restaurant itself was comfortable and understated in its decor. The outside patio is larger than the interior dining area. It was nice to dine outdoors in the patio. Service was good with friendly staff. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience. Parking is plentiful in the lot.

The atmosphere felt warm, lively, and welcoming in a way that made it easy to relax and enjoy the moment. The food there tasted genuinely good to me, and every dish had the kind of flavor that makes you slow down and appreciate what you're eating instead of rushing through it. I liked how comfortable everything felt, and I appreciated that I could enjoy my time without feeling pressured or hurried. I noticed a lot of teenagers at this location, which made sense because the place has a fun, friendly vibe that younger people would enjoy a lot. Seeing them there made me realize how much teenagers would love spending time at The Perch, especially since it gives them a spot where they can eat good food, talk, laugh, and feel like they belong. Even though this restaurant was new to me, I didn't realize how much there was to enjoy until I walked around and settled in. I've only visited The Perch one time in my life before writing this review, but that one visit was enough for me to understand why people speak so positively about it. It's one of the most comfortable and enjoyable restaurants I've been to in a while, and I would highly recommend that teenagers go there because it gives them a place to enjoy good food, spend time with friends, and feel part of a lively environment. If you're in Frazier Park and want a spot that feels inviting and fun, The Perch is definitely worth checking out.

The server placed us near the heater, which was super nice and thoughtful. Food did take 30-40 mins to get ready, but we passed the time by playing UNO and pool available in the restaurant. The server recommended us some dishes and was nice to offer different ingredient subs to our liking. I did not expect the South African flatbread to be THAT good. It was sweet, crunchy, and delicious. I believe some people will be bothered by the sweetness, but it was perfect for me. They had an amazing list of cocktails and alcohol drinks as well. I enjoyed the ambiance and the intimate environment the place has. Thank you for a wonderful dinner.
