When I called, I did not have my insurance card handy and could not remember the name of my new insurance. I had thought "Northeast Delta Dental" was my insurance, but it was not. I called back a couple of weeks later and upon giving my name, Carrie(?) briskly stated "We do not take Northeast Delta Dental!". I calmly explained I had my card and was happy to confirm it actually says "Dental Blue". She advised, rather shortly, that Dental Blue was not in network with them, so I asked about "CBA Blue" (as that was the next name on my insurance card). She rudely exclaimed they're not in network with them, either. I called CBA Blue and was advised that they use the Blue Cross Blue Shield network. If the office had only allowed me to give more information, I imagine they could have understood that they were, in fact, in network. This is not how potential new patients should be treated. I'll be looking elsewhere.

I am a senior and have been to many high end dentists in New York and some who work in Beverly Hills and do cosmetic dentistry, and by far Dr. H is the best person I have ever met, and his quality of work and care for you as an individual is outstanding. For those who are still reading, I have a lot to say about my office experience here. From the time we walked through the door me and my spouse were expecting another run of the mill dental office visit when we went to the reception area we were greeted by a friendly and happy and nice lady she greeted me and my wife was polite handed us some paper work to fill out and took it back with a smile so we sat down as we were waiting a gentleman walked by me I did not know who he was at the time he looked me in the eyes smiled and said hello how are you today and I happily greeted him back I looked at my watch I thought, Ok, I will have to settle in and wait an hour like I did at some of the biggest practices in Vermont, one in Stowe and Essex Junction that I would never recommend to anyone. The staff at those facilities I had gone to were rude, nasty, and had an air about them as if I had done something wrong coming to them wanting to be a patient from the minute I walked through the door with my spouse. I have learned if your first point of contact from the receptionist is not a good one you should not be there that means who ever runs the facility allows them to be that way and they are probably that way themselves and it proved to be true at both those facilities I have went to they do not care about people, did not care about the issues that need to be addressed they wanted to do a full work up and piece meal the teeth out and have a patient for life and waste a lot of your time I only sat waiting 10 minutes to be taken in to the appointment with my spouse immediately to be greeted by a lovely dental assistant who not only was beautiful on the outside she was just as beautiful on the inside Almana was friendly, courteous, very attentive to our immediate needs and she was very skilled not only did she take the time to address all the issues she also shared a little about herself and her life and you can see how wonderful she was and has a true love for pets. I was very blown away so far at how nice we were being treated, and then Almana several times offered to get me a beverage of my choice and was above and beyond wonderful. This practice is lucky to have her. This would have been just enough for me to come back until I met Dr. H! This gentleman walked into the room greeted me politely, shook our hands, asked if we would like anything he also then listened to all our concerns as my wife has had cosmetic dentistry done and we wanted to make sure everything matched and she could be taken out of pain he accessed the situation took several sets of images and xrays and said yes I can get you all fixed up he treated her like a top priority to him he immediate began steps to get her out of pain, repair her damaged crown and was able to do it all in one visit he has a cerac machine for those of you who do not know what this is this is a machine that can make you a crown on the spot through 3d imaging of your mouth and the adjoining top and bottom teeth not only did he match the color but the fit and finish was beautiful and amazing. While the crown was being made, he took the time to share a little bit about himself and how he ended up in Vermont. I noticed that this gentleman had a commanding presence he had served his country in the Navy and obtained the rank of lieutenant commander, and I can see by the way that he carries himself and his true professionalism that it was deserved. I am not an easy person to impress, but this man did impress me he exuded confidence and professionalism, and I felt my wife was in good hands. I have a background myself in law enforcement; I am readily hesitant, unfortunately, when I meet people. This is not the case with Dr. H. What you see is what you get a hardworking man with wonderful staff, and as an added bonus, I had the chance to meet two wonderful dogs. They were well mannered, and one sat next to me quietly and allowed me to pet him while my spouse was getting the work done. What was a long appointment seemed like minutes because Dr. H was so friendly and engaging. I felt as if I just left my best friends house that I knew for years. I had to stop and take a look at how long this review is, and I am so sorry it is so long. I could easily continue on, but I will tell you this much if you are on the fence and you are thinking about going anywhere else, DONT. Make your appointment with Dr. H. I was truly grateful for the interaction I had with the dentist and staff. He is worth traveling for if I had to drive 100 miles to see him, I would.

Finding a good dentist up in our area has been…read morenon-existent, and we who live in rural areas need it the most, as traveling in the winter can be dangerous. I just met an amazing doctor, Dr. H, at Bristol Park Dental in Newport, VT, right across from North Country Hospital. I am no stranger to the chair and have had extensive work done; it is my opinion that Dr. H is the top dentist in the state of Vermont. This dentist does it all! Dr. H does root canals, dental cleanings, SAME DAY crowns (he has a CEREC machine), and fillings! Oral surgery, dental implants, cosmetic dentistry, and more. Everything you need is all in this one place. His staff is amazing; you will notice how nice they are on your first call. I was a new patient and was blown away by how wonderful this dental practice is. Dr. H is highly skilled. I had a crown fall off. He has state-of-the-art equipment. He removed the crown, drilled out all the old decaying tooth material, lasered the gums, and made me a new crown that matched my existing crowns perfectly in hours. I was in pain for 2 weeks and was pain-free leaving this business the same day. His (EFDA) certified dental assistant Almana is very professional & skilled--beauty and brains! I loved meeting the dog; he is quite and well-mannered, he came in the room and just laid in the corner just to be close to his owner. There is a lot of love at this dental practice, and you feel like family. For all in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont, this is the place to go for amazing dentistry and amazing people. With the quality of Dr. H's work, he should be in NYC or Beverly Hills; hopefully, he will stay here with us in Vermont.

The dentist treated like my child was a factory item, the dentist allegedly "cleaned" each cavity within one and a half minutes (I timed it) and was out of the room within seconds.
