Fran is Fantastic! I've followed her from Stript Wax bar to her own Studio in the Jackson place salon. She's excellent at brows, she's tinted mines on several occasions and I love the results. I can't say enough good things about my experience with Francisca at FiDi Studio! After my esthetician of 11 years closed her doors this year, I've REALLY struggled to find a replacement for waxing services, but I'm so glad to say that I've finally done it! Francisca is fast, professional, warm and talented. The wax was almost painless (if you are not sensitive like I am, it will be painless for you) and my skin looks much calmer than usual, immediately after. I warned Francisca that I have a problem area where wax always wants to hang on to my skin and causes my skin to pull and often lift. Francisca gleaned this warning and successfully removed the wax on the first go without hurting me - praise the lawd! I told Francisca that I was on a time crunch, but my typical behavior is to just launch into a huge chat sesh, which I did, but Francisca made sure to stay on top of how long she was taking. She asked me what time it was mid-wax and assured me that she was almost done. But she took WAY less time than I ever expected. A 15 min Brazilian? I'll take it. Finally found my Brazilian wax spot in SF! Convenient location close to the Embarcadero station/FiDi. Since moving to SF, I tried a couple different places and didn't love any of them. Francisca reached out to me on Yelp & invited me to check her out. The salon is next to the cafe at 633 Battery and her space is located downstairs. Her waxing space is no frills, but clean and comfortable. I love that she provides a sensitive skin spray to help ease the pain. I didn't even need it! Great wax! Francisca is by far the best waxer I've been to in San Francisco. I've hopped from studio to studio trying to find someone who could do the job right and she not only does it right but goes above and beyond! I knew she was the one I would keep coming back to when she made the effort and took some extra time to tweeze out some hairs that were ingrown, or when she does that extra bit of waxing because there are a few hairs left and she wants to make sure you're hairless. Many waxers refuse to wax you if your hair is short, Francisca doesn't care, and will always get those hairs out. A huge benefit of her moving to her own studio is that now her space is bigger, and she gets to choose her own wax which in my opinion is great!
