Had an event where we ordered their food and they delivered. Their food was a hit, specifically their kids pasta and kids grilled cheese - because even the adults wanted them! The only caveat would be that I specially requested cheese on the side for a salad we ordered due to a couple of guests who had strict dairy allergies. It was the only salad at our buffet so we wanted it to be inclusive but with the choice for others to add cheese if they desired. So... while they did put mozzarella on the side, they still added Parmesan (or something that looked like Parmesan) to the salad. Then when I brought it up, the person delivering it tried to say it was okay to eat because it was just whey. Well - I did specially request cheese to be on the side. Dairy allergies are no joke and if they couldn't accommodate modifications, they could have just communicated that from the get-go. Other than that, they were pretty great about everything else. From setting up buffet tables to a nice tablecloth and warmers with servers. It made it easier for our group as a lot was going on. Edit on July 14: Owner responded and it was clearly a miscommunication. They thought I asked for mozzarella on the side but in my text messages, I see that I originally asked that if the salad came with any cheese, that it be on the side. But when confirming via text messages (at a busy time when they were moving from one location to another), my texts evolved from going from "any cheese on the side" to "cheese on the side" - which probably made them think I was ordering more/extra cheese on the side (?). I never specified what cheese to have on the side because I didn't actually know if the salad came with cheese in the first place let alone what kind. Either way, I'm glad they would be willing to accommodate a food restriction in the future. read more

Another scrumptious meal from Chef Micah and Sous Chef Terra! White bean bruschetta was beautiful to behold and even better to eat. A nice tang from the spread under the tender white beans and pretty Brussel leaves. The hubby enthusiastically snarfed down his chicken parm sandwich and remarked on how moist the chicken is. I snagged a bite and loved the fresh flavors of the pesto and tomato jam on the meat. I enjoyed my pesto and sundried tomato bucatini --- creamy with many bites of tomato, so good. I could only eat half. Something to look forward to! For dessert we shared the new peppermint cupcake with chocolate mousse inside. It is just as good as it sounds! Note: I am one of these really picky eaters. Ask any of my friends. They are afraid to even suggest a restaurant when we get together! I already know FG Amore is consistently delish. I recently stopped by to check out their offerings. I had the porchetta and braised pork sandwich, a pepperoni pizza, and a Cesar salad. I was impressed by the quality and freshness of the ingredients. Their homemade salad dressing was delicious. Overall, everything was tasty. I particularly enjoyed the sandwich. I found the pizza crust to be a bit undercooked. Not bad for a food truck. read more

Fantastic full commercial kitchen on wheels making top tier Italian food. Owner is super nice and professional. I ordered the "triple p" which is a porchetta sandwich. Absolutely fantastic! OH WOW: we had sandwiches and "cupcakes", OH MY . . every bite, every component of every bite, every nuance of the sauce, the meat, the veggies, the Ciabatta holding it together . .were all individually fresh, distinctive, piquant, cooked just enough to bring out all the flavors, not mushed, not raw . . OH MY . . and the desserts: subtle pastries, nuances, firm, not gaggingly sugared, smelled as good as they tasted, and artfully presented . . this AIN"T MALL FOOD FOLKS, this guy is the real deal; his food is distinctive, perfectly mated up, abound with flavor combinations that are just wonderful . . AND the folks whipping it up and serving were proud of what they did, not the least pretentious, and happy to talk about what they were about to serve you . . Food was okay, the Caesar salad was salty for my taste. I just think the price is high for a very basic meal that took a very long time to get. I could eat in a sit down restaurant, farm to table for the same food, just more flavor, and a better price. read more

If you're in the area I highly recommend by stopping at FG Amore located in the Zesti Cart food lot. Some of the best Italian food we've ever had and now we want to try everything on the menu it was that good! We tried their pesto bucatini, smoked pollo sandwich, with the beet salad- everything was fresh and extremely tasty! The people who run this cart are also very friendly which is always a plus. Wow! Everything on the menu looked good, but I ended up picking the White Bean Crostini and it was lovely. When I picked up the order I was concerned it might not be enough food, but I almost didn't finish it! The pizza at FG Amore is exceptional. The crust is so good, soft yet toasted, and the sauce and toppings are so flavorful. I had the bianca pizza with mushrooms and it was delicious. We hired Micah initially because he suggested a menu to complement the wines we had made for a party at Victorian Vineyard. He provided many options to choose from and we planned a menu that would allow my vegan and gluten free family members to be satisfied while still being special and attractive to the majority with no food limitations. He was wonderful to work with from the initial contact, to tasting, to the service provided on the day of the event including a bartender who was friendly and efficient. The event center does not yet have a kitchen, so Micah had to improvise on site preparation under way less than ideal circumstances. None the less, he was gracious, timely, and calm. I am not sure which I liked best: the Rigatoni Truffle Alfredo, the Risotto Parmesano with seared wild mushrooms. or Arancini. There was enough food that many returned for second servings. I don't plan on hosting another large event but I do plan on going to Forest Grove to sample some more of Micah's wonderful Italian cooking. read more
