This place is great! I was in town for a conference and it was a nice spot to grab a vegetarian friendly, healthy lunch. Fresh veggies and made to order felafel salad.

Thank god this place popped up. I've been searching for a good falafel place that wasn't a chain. This place does NOT disappoint. It's delicious, fresh, and vibrant. The owners are passionate and know what they are doing. We are vegetarian and we're pleasantly surprised to see vegan Kofta on the menu! Everything was delicious and the prices are decent. Will be going back soon!

Fresh, delicious food -- and lots of it is vegan/vegetarian, but plenty of meat options as well (which I did not try). Very friendly staff; clean, well lit location for lunch that is easy walking distance from jury duty.

Don't order from grub hub! I ordered on here and they did not get my order. They do however get orders on the market street website. Food amazing workers nice though!

Amazing restaurant. I wish their restaurant extended their hours into the evening. Beautifully prepared food! Convenient location across from my residence.

You can feel that it's family-owned-and-operated. The 3-course set menu was great--we had three in our dinner party, so we automatically received 8 mezze + paper-thin pita (refilled without asking when the staff saw we were running low) to share, we each picked 1 of 10 entrees, and each chose 1 of 3 desserts for the final course. Some of the mezze (all delicious!): fattoush salad, hummus, baba ghannouj, labne, mouhamara, warak enab bel zeit, soujouk, batata harra. I had the Mixed Grill for One, which allowed me to try the Shish Taouk (grilled marinated chicken with special garlic sauce), Shish Kebab (grilled marinated filet mignon), Lamb Chop with grilled onion, tomato, jalapeño, roasted potatoes. And for dessert, I chose the cotton candy (halva floss) ice cream with pistachios (another diner had the rose water milk pudding)--both desserts had great flavor in the toppings, but little flavor in the ice cream/pudding. P.S. BYOB + a wine list, if you're so inclined.

Well I seated immediately as this was a Tuesday night. Crowd seemed local. I ordered the haleema with fig and Samke Hara a braised fish dish. The pilaf was tender, and the fish was ever so delicately prepared. It was like butter. Alhumdulillah. Enjoy.

My friend and I did the 4 course pre fixe, we got the meatballs with polenta, shrimp + beans, clam pasta, gnocchi, rib eye and fisherman stew. The meatballs with polenta was delicious! The polenta was tasty and cooked perfectly. The shrimp was OK, it was very fishy and left a bad taste in my mouth but the beans were yummy. The clam pasta was probably my favorite! I need 3 more of those please. The gnocchi was delish but definitely a heavier dish for those that like a rich and creamy dish. The rib eye was yummy but a little bit chewy but the tomato salad that came with it was top notch. Fisherman stew was yummy but would have liked my broth to be a tad more flavorful! Overall, I had a delightful meal and thought everything was priced perfectly (maybe a little bit more clam pasta).

WARNING: THIS RESTAURANT REFUSES TO PROVIDE ANY CHANGE WITH A CASH PAYMENT…read more Stopped here for lunch with some friends during the Haddonfield Arts Festival. It was a chance to refresh from the heat and grab a bite. With all the choice of restaurants, we did not choose well. The three of us were in there almost an hour to have lunch. Two of us ordered the shrimp kebab entrees, one ordered the chicken kebab. It took almost half an hour for those to come out. The shrimp plate had only THREE shrimp! For $21. The chicken plate had FOUR small pieces of chicken. Service was terrible and the food was just OK, although the vegetables were good. The surprise came when the bill was delivered. They do not provide change!!! If you pay a $61 check with a $100 bill, or any bills greater than the amount, you get nothing back! They just presume that's what you want to tip! I never heard of such a thing. We didn't have a lot of small bills with us after shopping at the festival, and had not expected such an absurd policy. So we paid as they requested, with exact change to meet the bill. The waiter got himself a 96 cent tip. No manager was available to ask why there was such a ridiculous policy. None of us would ever ever ever go back to this restaurant ever again. There are so many good restaurants over there, my suggestion is to try anywhere else.

Meh Mediterranean in a daycare setting…read more Before I even reached the door, the walls of a crying infant arose from a family dining al fresco at Norma's in Cherry Hill. Restless little ones blocked the entry, setting the tone for my overall Saturday evening experience. That Norma's is popular, there can be no doubt. We had no reservations, and felt lucky to snag a table. The place was bustling, servers had their hands full, we were obliged to be patient until ours arrived. I love Norma's menu -- my partner is vegetarian, so Mediterranean works great for us. I went the veggie route as well, starting with a lentil and ckickpea soup that was hot and savory and the high point of my meal. Other appetizers we enjoyed were the spanikopita and the cheese manaeesh, second to none. My veggie skewer was perfectly charred yet light. After such a promising start, then, our entrees came as quite a disappointment. My partner opted for the falafel salad, and while Norma's falafel are indeed superior, the salad was a bit of a mess, too ... wet, diluting the dressing, leaving runny runoff on the plate. But the greatest misfire wss the mixed kabobs entree I ordered. Everything about it was underwhelming -- these are signature items that should be stand+outs, but weren't. The kabobs were just okay, lacking in appeal, resting on a bed of rice that was unremarkable except for how cold it was. I suspect my plate had been held too long. I know they would have fixed it had I asked -- but seriously, I was up to *here* with all the kids. While I was eating, a woman behind me gathered up her gaggle of tots, squeezing out of the way to make room for a baby carriage the size of a Volkswagen. Does Norma's deserve a second chance? Sure. Next time, I'll stick with the appetizers and stay close to my wine glass lest the kindergarteners in my vicinity cause my nerves to fray.

Let me just say, i love Norma's. Good food, great customer service and an awesome small business…read more My favorite dish is the vegan shawarma. Hands down 10/10 every time I have eaten here, which is well over 20 times. I have not found vegan shawarma anywhere else in NJ or any other state thus far. The family who owns the restaurant is personable, friendly and accommodating. They have the recipe to exceptional customer service. The restaurant has a carry out section as well as a place to dine in. Ambiance is clean and simple. No frills yet the food is A++.
