I called and asked how long of a wait it was for a gel pedi -- they told me come in 45min. I was greeted when I arrived. They have a huge selection of colors. The gentleman who did my toes (I forgot to ask him his name!) was very personable, calling me by my first name, and making great conversation. The service was also good. I had of course recommended this place and we went together. My friend had Logan and he was not friendly or accommodating at all in the beginning, he became slightly nicer towards the end but was not a good experience at all, even I felt uncomfortable as his customer service was not good and frankly rude. He then didn't even apply lotion or massage her hands when he was done. We thought her nails looked good but by the next day they were staining weird and snagging on things. The top coat was not applied well I assume. Definitely a disappointment and embarrassing for me since I took her there. They also were out of a lot of the colors we wanted. I usually have a fantastic experience but this was not good at all. I am hoping they will fix her nails for free since it's only been a day and was 60$.

My mom gets a french pedicure every single time with bubblegum base. Rose remembers and makes sure that it's right for her every time. She's thoughtful, precise, and careful with her work. I have had great experiences here with many of the technicians, but recently have been very impressed with Jason. He is thorough and cleanly - he wears gloves from start to finish, which in my mind, just makes sense. I've always struggled with dry cuticles, hang nails, and aberrant nail growth on my right thumb. I can't cover it with nail polish due to my work, so it needs to be filed and buffed. Jason got to work, and my nails look great just to my liking - a buff manicure. The salon is bright, lots of colors, nice staff. New tools for every customer. Highly recommend!

It felt unnecessary and honestly quite humiliating. On top of that, the colors I specifically asked for were not done, which was frustrating after already feeling judged. The overall tone and attitude made the experience feel unwelcoming and embarrassing. They also have the tools in "sterilized packets" and they are not as evidenced by not seeking the color seal To make matters worse, when I still chose to leave a tip, a comment was made implying it wasn't enough. That was the final straw. I left feeling embarrassed and disrespected. No one should feel that way while trying to enjoy a simple self-care service. I generally just opt for a 'polish change' or 'polish only' instead of getting an entire manicure. I find the result to be the exact same and it's of course cheaper that way. All of the techs I've had do a great, clean job with nail painting. Never had a result I didn't like! Most recently came in for a dark polish on my finger nails and she did a wonderful job in 15 minutes. The salon itself is always clean, but it's certainly outdated. Could maybe use a little upgrade in that way, and maybe a little lower on the intense overhead lighting- just mini suggestions on making it a little more spa-esque. It's tucked into a little shopping strip off of Santa Monica, so it could be very easy to miss. Give this local spot on your next mission to get a mani/pedi!
