The staff that works here doesn't make you feel wanted and their inventory is usually lackluster. It never used to be this way. I'm not sure if a change in management is to blame but something should be done or else I'll take the the extra 20 minutes drive to go to a further location. *Update* Finally got inside and the store attendant was super dismissive and didn't really want to help me. The technician recognized me shortly after I entered the store, took my name and asked me to be patient...I agreed. In about 15 minutes I was called. I needed to have a new cellphone activated. The Technician was very professional, worked on my phone and in about 30 minutes she was finished. Frankly I was impressed with how well the techs took care of its waiting customers. While friendly, they seemed to know their craft and exibited genuine interest in the customer, did not try to sell me a bunch of snake oil.....this was exceptional service. But I chose to have it installed by a competitor because I am a subscriber to the competitor. Let me tell you there was nothing "best" about the competitor. In the end, I had to cancel the installation order and return to the Big Screen Store. I explained my plight and my TV was installed within five days. The two young man who came to install it, Taz and Ray, were polite, efficient, on time, cleaned up after themselves and walked me through the functions of the television. They have a wide variety of used items as well as several very fine lines for which they are certified dealers. They run the audiophile gamut in terms of price. As an example, they have the basic Project Debut all the way up to a Clearaudio Reference Master. I was pleased with the candor of their advice. For example, they urged me not to replace certain items because what I have is already plenty good. Many stores would have tried to sell more stuff rather the help the customer get it right and save money. Three separate times they gave me advice or a solution that involved no money changing hands. They also listen. How a person hears is like a fingerprint. We're all different. I told them the type of sound I enjoy and they tailored systems extremely accurately to my preference - and told me several times that I would not like certain expensive items so not to bother. Bottom line: it was about the customer sharing their joy in listening, not about moving boxes. Be prepared to spend some time if you visit. Between the beauty of their inventory, the joy of listening to beautifully reproduced music, and the infectious enthusiasm of the staff, time tends to fly. The delivery for the new screen he ordered was over 10 days out. Valentin graciously took a very old phone I had in a draw, got it working so I would have a phone in the meantime.
