Bright (officiant). Booking our wedding services from more than 5,000 miles away was daunting, but we were quickly put at ease and had all of our questions answered quickly. They were able to recommend the perfect secluded beach location for our vows, away from crowds and with the perfect setting for amazing pictures. We connected on the phone when we arrived in Honolulu and finalized all of our wedding arrangements, and then 2 days later, met Rev Bright and Robin at the ceremony site for the wedding. Our friends and family gathered in a circle around us, we shared in a lei ceremony with all of our guests, and exchanged vows in front of the gorgeous pacific ocean, underneath a swaying palm. It couldn't have been more picture perfect. 5 days later, Robin called to ask us if we wanted to stop by and pick up our wedding proofs! Pictures? Already? They arrived in a gorgeous little bamboo album, perfectly edited and absolutely the best send off as we ended our honeymoon. I would recommend Aloha Lani Oahu to anyone who wants the perfect, authentic Hawaiian wedding ceremony.

We hired Moana Belle and started planning an elaborate destination wedding nine months before the COVID-19 crisis. We selected a place with special meaning to us, and proceeded to invest time and money as we worked with Lena to carefully curate a once-in-a-lifetime experience for 64 of our friends and family. Throughout that time, Lena and Moana Belle were great. They understood our style and priorities. Their planning and personalized recommendations demonstrated a spot-on understanding of us, our venue, and of tasteful design. Their coordination with our venue and vendors was seamless. Their communication was well-balanced and organized. And as I later learned, Lena frequently went to bat for us behind the scenes. As we and our guests packed our bags and began traveling half-way around the world, uncertainty percolated surrounding COVID-19. Lena helped us promptly consult with our venues, vendors, and guests, and to seek counsel from government authorities. It was the worst possible timing. Just one day later, and things would've likely been entirely different. After us and most of our guests arrived in Hawaii, and after nine months of painstaking planning, panic began to grip the nation. Against a backdrop that shifted by the minute, we were forced to make impossible decisions. But Lena was there for us every second. She stood by our side as vendors and venues were all over the board; their decision-making ran the gamut from thoughtful and interactive to frantic and opaque--often changing by the hour. An event we had all spent months meticulously planning was entirely upended. And a significant sum of money was at risk of being completely lost. On the fly, Lena helped us plan an entirely new wedding--only to plan another one or two after that. I like to equate her work as that of a chess master crushing a game while the chessboard constantly moved and the pieces simultaneously transformed. She poured every ounce of herself into saving our wedding. Her ingenuity and perseverance were beyond remarkable. In the end, our wedding was more beautiful and more meaningful than we could have possibly imagined. We will forever be in her debt.

We basically had 2 venues and they pulled it off seamlessly. Ceremony was by the lagoon and reception was under the stars , tented in a field at the base of these spectacular mountains.. We were so happy with their vendors from the catering to the decor , everything was top notch quality. They also have so much experience and knowledge we felt so confident. As a newly engaged couple living in New Jersey, we had been ideating on whether we should pull the trigger on organizing our wedding in Hawaii - the ultimate destination wedding location - not to mention, one of the most beautiful places on Earth. Just knowing this, we assumed it would be out of our budget, especially given that we were planning a big fat Polish-Indian wedding spanning multiple days, faiths, cultures and more! We began emailing quite a few planners via The Knot and Wedding Wire just to get a feel for what we could except from planning a wedding in Hawaii in general. Beyond worrying about our budget, we were torn on whether we could logistically execute something so elaborate being so far away....until that fateful Monday morning back in 2024, when Yanicke called me out of the blue. She quickly introduced herself, mentioning how she had received our inquiry, and immediately dove into her ideas for our special day. I just loved that she took the initiative to do that, especially given the crazy, 6-hour time difference! She explained how she had worked with a venue that could double as accommodations for us and our immediate family, something we knew would be one of the best ways to actually host and easily organize the wedding weekend of both Indian and Polish wedding festivities. For us, Yanicke REALLY shined when it came to tapping her vast network of vendors and and managing our budget. She advised us on what we should prioritize and invest in, and what we could do without, while still maintaining the overall vision and vibe we wanted to create for ourselves and our guests on the the big day. She was EQUALLY impressive on both our rehearsal and wedding days. She suggested we rehearse not just the Catholic, but the and Hindu ceremony as well, which was so worth it given the many rituals and parent involvement. The timeline she had started putting together months before our wedding, plus the finalized version accounting for vendor arrivals, additional notes and moments we needed to incorporate, was exactly what we envisioned and needed the most, and everyone was locked in and delivered once the big day came. On our wedding day, Yanicke managed every vendor, navigated any delays with grace, and even helped with family drama all while keeping us perfectly on track. We felt supported, celebrated, and completely stress-free with her by our side. Yanicke is a real gem with years of wedding planning wisdom and sharp networking skills that is truly hard to come by these days. She advocates for both her clients and her network, and will make you feel like family from Day 1.
