Simple Souls is absolutely AMAZING. Both of their voices are incredible -- rich, dynamic, versatile (hip-hop, pop/rock, ballads [only a few of the latter though, as these aren't napping performances], etc.), and with complementary ranges. And the variety of sound they get out of their two instruments is just incredible -- it's easy to forget that all they've got is a djembe and a guitar. This is also not your normal cover band (even your normal great cover band) -- Simple Souls puts their own spin on popular songs, which do the songs complete justice while not simply redoing what the original artists put out. Randy uses a unique style of music to record and loop sounds to create the musical sounds for his songs at his intros. He then blends them together perfectly and seamlessly prior to singing the lyrics. He has a wonderful singing voice that is easy to listen to for any generation. We knew without a doubt that we had to book Randy for our wedding. We wanted to keep our wedding smaller and intimate and our guest ages ranged from 1yo to well within their 60's. With this size and age range of guests we knew we needed to book someone that could sing a wide variety of music but not over power our guests either. Randy delivered exactly this and then some! Everyone enjoyed his music and complimented Randy for his talents. Working with Randy was a pleasure as well. He is very relaxed and easy to talk to.
