After meeting Lisa not only Happy but we too fell in love right away! She is warm, sweet & truly passionate about her job. We last minute had to change her daily walks from 5 pm to 8 pm! 8 pm is later than most other walkers would do - even for a hefty fee! Lisa just text back no worries! I was amazed. She came at 8 pm, walked and played with Happy for an hour and half each evening! We came home from Coachella by midnight & Happy was exercised and happy lol. We are definitely calling Lisa when we return very soon. We highly recommend her and trust her with our baby!

I've always used a friend I could hire when we've been out of town. But she had started a new job... so started looking on Yelp. Angela's Critter Care stood out. I left a voicemail, and true to her message, got a call back within 24 hours from Amanda. Fortunately for me, Amanda was able to come the next day to meet Jersey. What amazed me and my husband, was Jersey came right up to Amanda. Jersey is 15 years old, she never just goes up to someone she doesn't know! We hired Amanda, and had a lot of paperwork to fill out, which I actually appreciated. Amanda started 2 days later. She took photos of Jersey, and would text to let us know how she was doing. Also, brought in the mail. Amanda texted the day we were coming home to make sure we didn't need her for another day. When we got home there was a nice note from Amanda on Angela's Critter Care stationery. I am so glad we found someone we trust with our fur baby and our home. Thank you so much. Kat took the time to really understand his lifestyle and shape his training goals with me ahead of both stays and both times we got back a happy, healthy and focused pup who loves to show off his tricks and manners! He was understandably a little nervous the first time we dropped him off but the second time he was thrilled to be back, which just shows how much fun he had there with her!! You can tell that Kat cares deeply about the dogs she works with and I'm so glad we found her out here in the desert. I highly recommend the customizable board and train service to provide structure, fundamentals and/or personalized learning (then you just need to stay consistent at home continuing to reinforce the new skills). She was unavailable to be the dog sitter herself, however, Madisyn let me know she had other employees who work for her to help us out. She immediately provided me with the contact info of a sitter on her team who was able to dog sit our Maverick for the three hours we needed. We worked with Siobhan who was super sweet! She came to the hotel we were staying at and spent time with Maverick while we were away at the Firebirds hockey game. Siobhan took him on a walk as well as sent me pictures and texts to keep my anxiety at ease. It was my first time using a dog sitter for him and she exceeded my expectations! I will absolutely utilize Sit, Stay, Relax if I'm in the area again. The flexibility, customer service and availability of Madisyn and her team is superb!

They did an amazing job with his grooming he got a full bath, his ears were cleaned, his teeth were brushed, and his nails were clipped. Laney was the groomer and I think she did a really great job. I'll be back. Also, I like that they do not put the dogs in cages. Lulu doesn't like that.

The last time I was there a few months ago I was telling the young lady when she had a check up that she had problems with her anal glands they need to be expressed every six weeks or she cannot go to the bathroom. She told me about a product to put into her food and a completely cured the problem! It's called glandex . I am completely thrilled because now it isn't a problem every six weeks. Naturally, bringing our pets to an emergency vet can cause anxiety and fear, but the team at VEG ER for Pets in PD made me feel right at home and completely at ease. Dr. Posada and the technicians/nurses handled my cat's situation with care, consideration, and a calm approach, which made the entire experience feel much easier for me. I was apprehensive about bringing Jinx here because I knew about the "open-concept" room layout, and he had gotten out once before and gone missing for five weeks before I thankfully found him. However, once I arrived, the facility felt very safe and secure, and the staff even offered me a private room, which I thoroughly appreciated. I was able to be with my cat every step of the way and even watch his procedure being performed. Dr. Posada was very informative and kind throughout the initial diagnosis, procedure, explaining the aftercare, potential risks, and answering all of my questions with patience and care. It is so refreshing to have had such a positive experience at an emergency vet clinic, especially since my past experiences at other locations have been filled with nothing but panic and fear. I will always recommend this clinic to anyone who asks! My sweet boy turns 8 today, and he is recovering very well! Thank you for providing such wonderful care for Jinx and me.

I sincerely hope no pet owner ever has to experience what I went through at this hospital…read more My dog had been bitten by a much larger dog that left significant wounds, I was worried to death as any pet owner when their fur babies are sick. I felt like instead of finding compassion, and ethical emergency medicine, I had walked into a high-pressure sales campaign. The moment I declined a $650 X-ray, the pressure campaign intensified which went on for more than an hour. One by one, staff members, veterinarians, and finally the hospital director/owner all took turns hard-selling me on authorizing the X-ray which seemed to be used as a precursor to push for more unnecessary expensive diagnostics. After the 4th round of relentless argumentation and persuasion, I requested the 4th staff member to not get any more people to come and talk to me about X-rays, against my clear request, they still sent out the "heavy weight" director/owner as the marathon finisher to pressure me. Finally, I said to the director: "I am his owner, I am an adult, I have the right to make decisions for my pet's care." That should have ended the conversation, but the director even went on so far to tell me that if I left with my dog without X-ray, he could "lose his license" and that I could "sue him." I told him, "I guarantee you I won't sue you," and offered to sign a disclaimer accepting full responsibility for my decision and to release the hospital from any legal responsibility. The director then turned to his staff, shouted "Transfer!!" as if he's the one with all power to override my decision regarding the treatment of my pet. I said "Wait a second, do I get a say in what I want to do regarding the medical treatment of my dog?" It was met with silence. After 5 rounds of marathon campaign with no success, they finally left me alone. The point was not the ridiculous excuses that if the director/owner granted my wish to let me and my dog leave the hospital without doing the $650 X-ray "he will lose his license" or that I will "sue him," but doing an X ray can be used as a powerful and convincing tool for the hospital to frighten pet owners even more to push for THOUSANDS $$$$ more in expensive and unnecessary diagnostics and treatments. Dr. Randy Posada even went as far as telling me to "be prepared for end of life" arrangement for my dog because I refused their pressure to authorize the X-ray they tried so hard to sell. As for the offer to perform the radiographs at no charge mentioned in the Dr. Michael Hyder's reply below, I specifically asked Dr. Posada who was the attending vet to my dog about it. He explained that the "free" offer applies only to taking the radiographs. The interpretation and analysis of those radiographs would still cost approximately $600. In other words, while the imaging itself may be advertised as free, obtaining the diagnostic information that gives the radiographs any clinical value still carries a substantial fee. The complimentary snacks, bottled water, coffee, and tea displayed in the waiting room mean absolutely nothing. They create the appearance of a caring hospital while terrified pet owners are being scared and pressured into authorizing thousands of dollars in diagnostics during the most vulnerable moments of their lives. I left feeling disheartened and disgusted by the cold calculation, manipulation, and coercion. I would never return, and I would never recommend this hospital to any pet owner. If you go because it's after business hours and no regular pet hospitals are open, be prepared to be pressured into accepting a $650 X-ray and $600 blood test even for a dog sneeze. UPDATE: Reply to Director/owner Dr. Michael Hyder Dear Dr. Hyder, I disagree with your characterization of the events surrounding Mickey's visit. Your letter states that veterinarians must be able to communicate their concerns, risks, recommendations, and limitations so that clients can make informed decisions. I fully agree. At no point did I refuse to hear Dr. Posada or your recommendations. I listened, asked what information the radiographs were expected to provide, and how the findings would specifically alter Mickey's treatment plan. Despite asking multiple times how the results would affect Mickey's treatment specifically, I never received a direct answer. That is the information necessary for informed consent. You also told me that if I declined the radiographs, you or the hospital could lose your veterinary license and that I could later sue you. I ask that you identify the medical, legal, or professional basis for those representations. Is it VEG's policy to advise clients that a veterinarian's license is jeopardized whenever an owner declines a recommended diagnostic test? If not, what basis did you make those representations to me?

Brooke also shared great advice and tips to help me care for and continue working with my puppy at home. In such a short amount of time, my puppy learned so many new commands like sit, down, and come. I can't wait to see everything else she learns in class. I would definitely recommend Brooke to anyone looking for puppy training. She is friendly, knowledgeable, and you can tell she truly has a passion for what she does. Under Fetch's care (Jane), my dog was hit by a car and died that night. The details of the worst night of my life -the night Fetch lost my girl (who would've turned 5 and I've had since 8wks) and also left her sister alone un-watched in a hotel the same night are below. Based on our online application, Kathleen (the owner) calls me to discuss my dogs specific needs. For our rehearsal dinner and wedding night at the Omni Rancho Las Palmas, we need a sitter to watch Mickey and Ellen in the hotel room bc Mickey has separation anxiety and can open doors when she's alone. I emphasize this to Kathleen and with this information, she tells me her experienced sitter, Jane, is up to the task and can handle the situation. Kathleen could've turned our business down after hearing about Mickey, but she was excited and confident for Jane to watch them for my wedding. The night of our rehearsal, I meet Jane at 6pm in the lobby and walk to the room where my parents are with both dogs. I repeat to Jane like I told Kathleen- Mickey has separation anxiety and can open doors when alone so not to leave the hotel room and just watch her and her sister carefully. Being extra careful/taking all precautions, my mom even repeatedly asks her if she needs to use the restroom bc it is out of sight from the door. If she needs to go, be extra careful- make sure she can still see Mickey.(She could've used a leash to take mickey to the bathroom area or even put on the door chain if Mickey wasn't with her). She says no I don't need to go at all I'll sit here on the couch and watch carefully. All this takes about 10 min with Jane before we leave for the rehearsal dinner. At 7:09pm I get a call from Jane who says Mickey got out when she was going to the bathroom (we later find out this was just 20 min or less after we specifically asked if she needed to go and to be extra careful if she did). We rush out of our rehearsal and after 2 hrs of searching with our 40 dinner guests, I am told a dog is hit by a car near the hotel and we find that it is Mickey. We rush to the only vet open at that time but she was hit in the head too hard. I passed out from the extreme grief, shock, and pain and the ambulance is called for me. My girl was gone. Later, we discover based on cell phone records, what Kathleen details in an email, and witnesses that Mickey got out around 6:30-6:35pm, but I wasn't notified until at least 34 min later at 7:09pm- time wasted where we and our 40 guests could've helped search/found her since dinner was at Roy's down the street 5 min away. I'm forever tortured knowing Fetch could've called over half hour sooner and maybe we could've found Mickey and saved her life. Furthermore, during this time (over half hour) Jane has completely left Mickey's sister Ellen alone in the room. She not only waited to tell us that she lost Mickey so we lose the first vital 34 min or more to find her when she first gets lost, but she should've called immediately so someone could watch Ellen during this time esp since she already lost Mickey. When Jane does call, my parents find Ellen alone in the bridal suite and take her with them during the search for Mickey. Doggy daycare/overnight pet hotels, friends/fam have never lost Mickey under their watch with the exact same knowledge of Mickey. So, I'll never understand how a professional vetted dog sitter who was repeatedly given specific instructions of how to care for Mickey let this happen. I think she was negligent on her watch and just didn't listen to our specific instructions for Mickey. A witness working at the hotel who saw Mickey run out of the room and tried to catch her with Jane (who had a chance to corner her and call me then but failed) told me later he urged Jane to call me at that time- he saw Mickey actively running away from Jane so she clearly wasn't the owner and the owner needed to be contacted to get this dog but Jane refused saying she didn't want to ruin our dinner- it was still ruined just 34 min. later but now also our wedding and led to a tragic death. This witness knew immediately to call the owner in the situation but Jane a qualified experienced pet sitter according to Fetch (Kathleen) did not. The worst night of my life was the night before my wedding when Mickey was taken from our family because Jane did not heed our specific instructions for our dogs. Fetch may think this was an accident but in my opinion it was complete negligence for a co. who claims they care for dogs like "pet kids."We were not given the pet care Fetch claimed they would provide- so please consider this when choosing them as your dog sitter or walker. read more

Our oldest dog is a 16 year old Shih-Tzu. Our other two dogs are a large WHPG Mix and a Pit Bull/Shar Pei mix. Jen is great with all sizes and breeds of dogs. One of our dogs suffers from severe lumbar spondylosis and Jen makes sure that she gets her multiple medications during her stay. We get daily pics and updates as to how the dogs are doing each day. So, look no further for a pet-sitter. I'm a retired LEO and I trust Jen with the care of my pets and house.

Our Penny Sue Pibble has IMPA and OA and our specialist vet in Tustin recommended hydrotherapy. We could not find anyone to provide this service to us. We found Wendy Rall at Barkingham in Palm Desert. You can reach her at (951)704-3374. Penny's first session was water therapy and a massage. For the first time in months, Penny slept through the night and was able to walk from the car to the house. We just finished up our second session with Wendy. I met Mandie from Mandiepaws (760-507-5500) on Friday and had to leave the next day. Mandie met with me and took notes and asked just what I needed her to do while I was away. Mandie did an excellent job of watching my two senior dogs. She sent me pics and texts daily as I had requested. She is licensed and bonded which made me feel more at ease. Her rates were better than any I have paid in the past for people who didn't come with her qualifications. I will be using her from here forward. Mandie walked the dogs and spent a few nights at my house, watered plants inside and outside, gathered the mail and a few other things I hadn't even asked her to do. This is a first class very professional and friendly service that cares as much about your pets as you do. Just this past weekend we utilized the service and we totally screwed up the dates we needed the sitter. Being the caring professional the owner Cathy Gallic is she always follows up to make sure the service was complete. She did not get any responses from us as so she came to the house to find out we hadn't returned. When we did make contact we had made the mistake but were unable to return so Cathy actually came and stayed overnight with our pups. That is service above and beyond and she was very gracious about the total inconvenience. If you want to feel 100% comfortable that your pets are getting quality love and care this is the place to call. Worth every penny. Thank you Cathy!
