She is very thorough and great with our dogs. Two of our dogs are under-socialized and a bit shy. They both love Jen and took to her when they would avoid most people. Our oldest dog is a 16 year old Shih-Tzu. Our other two dogs are a large WHPG Mix and a Pit Bull/Shar Pei mix. Jen is great with all sizes and breeds of dogs. One of our dogs suffers from severe lumbar spondylosis and Jen makes sure that she gets her multiple medications during her stay. We get daily pics and updates as to how the dogs are doing each day. So, look no further for a pet-sitter. I'm a retired LEO and I trust Jen with the care of my pets and house.

From the clearly outlined application, waiver, and vaccination requirements to their thoughtful evaluation process, we continue to appreciate and value the staff's ongoing attention to details and vetting protocols that ensure a safe environment for all guests. Aside from the socialization Roxy gets while at DDO, there's a peace of mind that comes with knowing she's in an environment staffed by caring, kind, and attentive staff. In addition to being great, proactive communicators -- and super-responsive when we have inquiries -- the owner and entire of Doggie's Day Out of Palm Springs family, set a very high bar for professionalism and courtesy.

I met Mandie from Mandiepaws (760-507-5500) on Friday and had to leave the next day. Mandie met with me and took notes and asked just what I needed her to do while I was away. Mandie did an excellent job of watching my two senior dogs. She sent me pics and texts daily as I had requested. She is licensed and bonded which made me feel more at ease. Her rates were better than any I have paid in the past for people who didn't come with her qualifications. I will be using her from here forward. Mandie walked the dogs and spent a few nights at my house, watered plants inside and outside, gathered the mail and a few other things I hadn't even asked her to do. She did an outstanding job and allowed me to focus on the family knowing my dogs were being well cared for. Thank you, Rene Collard

Absolutely Amazing Dog Trainer -- Brooke at Majestic Dog Training!…read more After Olive was attacked at a dog park, she became extremely reactive and anxious around other dogs. Walks became stressful, and she would lunge at dogs even from a distance. At home, Olive is a true "love bug," so we knew she was scared--not a bad dog--and needed the right guidance. Before we ever met Brooke, we received a recommendation for another dog trainer. That person told us Olive would likely be untrainable, explaining that many dogs attacked at dog parks can never be rehabilitated enough to become non-aggressive. They essentially gave up on her before even meeting her. I told them I would never give up on Olive and that I would find someone who could help her. We were so blessed to receive a referral to Brooke at Majestic Dog Training. After just a few sessions, Olive has made tremendous progress. Her reactivity and anxiety have significantly decreased, and she is learning to stay calm and look to us for direction when she sees another dog. She is happier, calmer, and more confident--and so are we! Brooke's approach combines positive reinforcement, patience, consistency, calmness, support, and love. She is incredibly positive, adaptable, and genuinely passionate about dogs. She worked with our schedule, was flexible with drop-off and pick-up times, and made the entire training process easy and comfortable for us. One of the best parts is seeing Olive when we return after training. She is so happy, excited, and clearly loves Brooke. That says everything. Brooke has built a trusting relationship with Olive, and it is obvious how much she truly cares about every dog she works with. If you are looking for a dog trainer in the desert, choose Brooke. Her positivity, love of dogs, flexibility, and dedication set her apart from anyone else. She helped us understand Olive's behavior and gave us practical tools to help her succeed. I will never recommend anyone else. Brooke is the only name I will give to anyone who wants their dog trained. She has made an incredible difference in Olive's life and ours, and we are forever grateful!

She has given us confidence that he can get past his issues -- and that we, our other dog Georgie and Oliver can live (and walk) happily ever after. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Brooke. At home Poppy barks at new people coming into the house and then shortly after they enter, she stops. Skipper Pip on the other hand is a grand AHOLE that will continually bark till our guest sits down or stops moving and it starts back up when they start moving again. ‍ I can say that nothing I did worked to stop or curb this little booger from barking. I watched countless videos and NOTHING WAS WORKING! I created a tiny monster. I finally had had enough and sought out a professional. I found Janine here on the internet. I didn't really know what to expect or how hard this was going to be. I didn't care, I needed help and was willing to do whatever an expert would tell me to do. Getting to know Janine and working with her has been super easy. I listed in detail all of the behavior issues that I have with Skipper but mostly it's the constant barking. Lord have mercy on my ears. The first visit is an assessment, explanation of how your dog thinks and how they understand you, and for us; some basics to start getting *operation no more barking* underway. Janine is very thorough so you understand both human and dog points of view. I really like this comprehensive approach. She trains you to train your dog so that your pet can thrive. Janine is not a cookie cutter style dog trainer. She is adaptive in finding what works best for you and your pooch. This is just the hands on learning Skipper and I needed. Thank you Janine, you are a treasure. Skipper's Results after working with Janine: *No longer barks when in public (on leash or in a stroller.) *No longer barks at the gardeners or pool guy. *Walks on a leash with ease w/zero pulling. *Knows the difference between Working Walk and Leisurely Walk. *Does not freak out at other dogs. Is perfectly calm and confident that I will not let anything happen to her. *No longer licks paws unless right before bed. *Significantly less anxiety overall.
