This…read moresummer I rescued two pups (one 2 years old and the other is 3 months) and brought them both in for another visit today. One needed a nail trim and the other's first wellness exam and one more puppy shot. My 3 month old puppy is very high strung and energetic. He escaped the room a few times and when I went to grab him he was already in Dr Jameson arms in the hallway as we were waiting to see her. It was absolutely adorable. The entire staff loved on my babies, gave them each calming puppy plates filled with treats, and made us feel right at home. Dr Jameson is very thorough and took into consideration my concerns with certain treatments. She takes a lot of time in the room to answer any and all of questions. I never feel rushed or forced to do anything unnecessary and I appreciated all her professional insights for my babies. She really does care deeply for these animals and from what I can see is incredibly humble as a person, which are exactly the qualities I look for in a veterinarian. I can't recommend them enough. I've always used a friend I could hire when we've been out of town. But she had started a new job... so started looking on Yelp. Angela's Critter Care stood out. I left a voicemail, and true to her message, got a call back within 24 hours from Amanda. Fortunately for me, Amanda was able to come the next day to meet Jersey. What amazed me and my husband, was Jersey came right up to Amanda. Jersey is 15 years old, she never just goes up to someone she doesn't know! We hired Amanda, and had a lot of paperwork to fill out, which I actually appreciated. Amanda started 2 days later. She took photos of Jersey, and would text to let us know how she was doing. Also, brought in the mail. Amanda texted the day we were coming home to make sure we didn't need her for another day. At home Poppy barks at new people coming into the house and then shortly after they enter, she stops. As a retired Veterinarian, I am very picky about how things are managed in our home as it relates to the care of our kitties. To date, Tawny has been able to meet and/or exceed my/our expectations in all respects without any problems or issues. Our three cats have very different needs. Our oldest cat is dealing with advanced renal failure, and Tawny has been able to give him subcutaneous fluids, feed him controlled diet, and administer medication in his food without any problems. Our youngest cat had a stroke about two years ago, and Tawny has been able to give her medication twice a day in order to prevent recurring seizures, again without any problems. Our third cat is very shy, and she sometimes finds herself under attack by either our oldest or youngest cat. Tawny has been able to manage these confrontations whenever they have occurred in her presence. Overall, Tawny does a great job taking care of all three cats. In addition to feeding and treating them, she plays with them, and gives them needed attention, and she keeps us up to date as to how things are going at home. She sends us daily progress notes, and she always includes pictures of all three kitties. In addition, she brings in our mail, puts out our garbage, and makes sure our house is clean and in great shape when we return home. We highly recommend Tawny's services.
