We made an appointment by phone and the staff was friendly and helpful. The cut was excellent, as was the nail trim (not too short!) Highly recommend this business and wish I could visit them regularly and not just on vacation!

Glad i found these peeps. Sorry the last grooming was not up to par. In addition, they were very low energy at the front desk and clearly did not perform my request for a short haircut. I dont like when this happens. In fact, when they called me more than 3 hours telling me my dog was ready, the lady was trying to fit him with a bandana and not ready. I guess ill have to find a new groomer. Heavy

Our Original Vet has closed down in town and the new Vet won't see us unless it's an emergency due to the COVID-19... Our Vets office usually will clip our dogs nails and drain their anal glands.. Well, needless to say they haven't been able to receive and upkeep since their last appointment which was in the beginning of February... I called every groomer , Mobile groomer from here in town all the way to Palm Desert, and either no answer, they do not no longer exist or they are booked up and no longer available for new clients... Until I received a referral from another groomer that called me back and gave me their information.. I called them immediately, they actually answered the phone within the 3rd or 4th ring... WOW VERY EPIC..!! So, we scheduled and appointment it was about a week from when I spoke to them .. They arrived on time, for our 8am appointment, I was the one who was late that morning.. They didn't rush me or act pushy or anything, mom moms dog is pretty laidback and calm.. My dog on the other hand is a brat, he was fighting from the moment he saw them .. My chillwennie is a bitter and snapper ... Oh yeah he was doing that to them all the way .. I told them it's fine to muzzle him .. They finished both dogs within less then two hours, they did a awesome job, Amazing..! They've been able to clip my moms dogs nails even shorter then the vets have ever had done.. They pampered our Fur Babies like a day at the spa .. We found our new regular, no more trips to the vet for them to over charge us, and give us less then above standard service to our fur babies... I recommend Red Rover to everyone..!!! They do very good work ..!! We will see them in September for our dogs routine service.. You both Rock ..!! Thank you Mary & Christian for A+ Service Michelle Herman

I am frankly shocked to see so many glowing reviews of this groomer. I found Scott to be entirely…read moreunprofessional, unapologetic, and the experience traumatizing for my pet.I suspect his actions were obtuse rather than deliberate, but the outcome is the same. It's been nearly 5 years since my unfortunate interaction with Red Rover and I still remember it clearly as well as all the disappointment, anger, guilt, frustration, etc that one would feel after trusting someone with your pet who ended up doing her only harm & no good. I was referred to Red Rover by a different mobile groomer who did not have the capacity to take on a new client in January of 2020. I called and left a message inquiring about availability and to let him know that this would be my puppy's first bath so I was very concerned it be a pleasant, non traumatic experience. When he called back to schedule the appointment, I told him again it would be her first bath. He assured that he would take great care to ensure a good experience. When he arrived the day of the appointment, I mentioned again that this was her first bath as he took her into the van. Within minutes, from inside my house, I could hear my puppy screaming & howling inside the van like she was being murdered. I went outside and knocked on the van's side door until Scott opened it. It took a few tries - he couldn't hear the knocking over the dogs howls. He had not physically injured her of course, but was using cold water to wet her before shampooing. He wasn't taking any care to ease her into the brand new experience, and seemed surprised by her discomfort. I reminded him that it was her first bath, so all of this was new to her. He said, "I wish you had told me it was her first bath." Flabbergasted, I noted that I mentioned it every time we'd spoken - 4 separate occasions. He did not apologize or consider improving our experience, he only suggested we end it there and I agreed. He then used cold air to briefly dry the dog, and knocked $20 off the price. He never apologized or expressed any concern. From the time he arrived to the time he left a total of 26 minutes elapsed. To top it off, he called a year later because he didn't understand a cryptic entry in his calendar that included my phone number, wondering if he had an appointment scheduled with me. This only confirmed for me that he is entirely unprofessional and undeserving of a pet owners trust.

I found Tabitha shortly after adopting my dog Kestrel, about a year & a half ago. I'd never had my…read moreown dog, so even though I *thought* I was prepared, I needed all the help I could get. When Kestrel was a puppy, Tabitha helped prepare me for the basics- everything from potty training to socialization & general obedience. Having someone help guide me through the process made the "puppy stage" so much more manageable than I had anticipated it would be! As Kestrel grew out of puppyhood, she developed some poor social skills around other dogs- resource guarding me & showing signs of reactivity around other dogs. This caused a spike in my anxiety & was a major challenge for me, but Tabitha refused to give up on us. She gave me all the tools I needed to overcome my anxiety & teach Kestrel better manners around new dogs (we're not completely over that obstacle yet, but we are seeing major improvements). When I went out of town for two weeks over the summer, I trusted Tabitha to take care of my best friend knowing that she would get the same level of care & attention she gets at home, with the added bonus of social play time! I continue to take courses with Tabitha & the Coachella Valley Dog Club because I love my dog so so much & I want to continue giving her the tools she needs to thrive. We recently started scentwork training, & look forward to eventually taking agility courses as well! Kestrel has a small handful of people who she loves with an intensity that she can't contain & Tabitha is one of those people. We count on Coachella Valley Dog Club for obedience, socialization, specialty training, boarding, & even guidance with diet & supplements. Bringing home a dog of my own had been a dream of mine for years, & having Kestrel has been even better than I imagined, but I couldn't have done it without Tabitha's help!
