Since then, they've serviced the almost 22 year old system at my home, nursing it along. With each semi-annual "check-up" service, they advised me on what I needed to do, and what could wait. When funds were tight, they suggested stopgaps to help. Because of this history, when Alex showed me that my heater was leeching carbon monoxide into my home, I knew I could trust him. While I waited for my appointment, I was provided with space heaters gratis. This IS an independently owned business, and they treat customers like family. Ozzy (Osvaldo) and Anthony installed a new heat pump and air conditioner for me last week. They were at my home three days. Not only were they professional, friendly, and polite, they were also respectful of my home--taking time EVERY day to cover my carpeted areas, covering their boots as they came into and exited the house, and cleaning up any installation debris before they left each day. Ozzy and Anthony discovered that a part of the original system was not going to work as efficiently with the new system (the dampers) given the difference in the size. Ozzy explained the difference to me, noted the cost, and the pros and cons. He didn't pressure me to upgrade the items but he made sure I had enough information to make a decision. At the end of the installation, Ozzy took the time to show me how to use the new digital thermostat controls and gave me tips on how to use the system economically. He provided me information on how to follow up if there were ever any problems. Just like other times, Vic called a few days later to see how things were going (I missed the call, but still...so so kind and thoughtful). It's a lot of money to replace your entire HVAC system, no matter which company you use, but hiring one where you know you can trust the company. Simply put, you'll never have worries about trusting Elite Comfort Systems.

Wanting to be responsible, we decided to contact them for the service. When the technician arrived, the heater was working, but a few minutes later, it stopped. What a coincidence! The young technician remarked on how fortunate we were that he was there to diagnose the issue. He inquired about the age of the unit, and when we told him it was 22 years old, he said it was no surprise that it had stopped working. He proceeded to check the unit and listed several problems: it needed a new ignitor ($458), a cleaning of the blower ($510), a new blower motor ($1,100), and a new control board ($1,376). The total for all of this came to $3,444! He then suggested that instead of spending that money on repairs, we should consider investing in a completely new unit that his company could install for about $25,000. We told him we would think about it. Afterward, we decided to call Fairview Heating and Air Conditioning. They sent out Keanu, a nice, intelligent, and honest young man. We explained our issue with the heater not functioning. Keanu quickly removed the back of the unit and, within seconds, said, "I know why your unit isn't working. The gas lever is turned off!" We were shocked--how could that have happened? I immediately turned on the gas valve. When Keanu then checked out the unit, everything cycled properly and he was able to verify that everything was working normally -- just like it was before the big company's visit. Keanu was very knowlegable and explained to us -in terms we could actually understand- how our system works. Needless to say, we have found ourselves a new heating and air conditioning company!

I called and spoke to Kristina and made an appointment since our heater would not give heat to the whole house. However, after several hours, it started to heat up. I decided to go ahead with the appt. to check out. The appointment process was very easy and quick. Kristina is such a great help. I called the same day and Bryan came over on the same day. Bryan is the owner and he is the technician too! He has over 30 years experience in this line of business. The first appt. was to perform a maintenance since we purchased the house in Sept 2025. Bryan took several photos but first step that he did was to change the filter of the furnace which is located in the attic and to go there, there is a small box shape entrance located in the ceiling of our walk in closet of our main bedroom. Bryan replaced the filter on the first appt. then took pictures of everything that requires work. Kristina was very helpful in making the second appointment which occurred on the same week to perform the following activities. 1. Replaced the leaking condensate collector box. 2. Added a dedicated secondary transformer and rewire the zone system correctly. 3. Repaired and reinforced the emergency overflow drain pan. 4. Performed a full blower wheel cleaning.
