MR. Mike Ferrara's
Is A Gentleman, Men of his word, a real business man, however the Son Matt A totally different story, He stole from me twice, I took the car for two issues. A noise on the back shock absorber and the car was not accelerating. Mat told me that the noise was the control arms part number(MNG2961AA) as described on the invoice parts and labor was $1359.33.however He only replaced the Sway bar link, a $20 part, and is a 20 to 30 minutes job ,also he use the old bushings. Mat said the car was not accelerating due to the catalytic converter. It needed to be replaced, and parts & labor $4700. I tell him I'm buying the catalytic. He said labor was $240 to replace 2 catalytic. I approve the job and I pay him $600 deposit and the balance when he finishes. He tells me that I need to come back to install the new catalytic. I tell him I don't think was that problem, but he insists that needs to be replaced. I decide I want the old catalytic back. He gets upset and increases the price to $425. I agree, then he calls me back the next day at 8:30am to tell me the catalytic I bring don't fit and he need to charge more. I went to the shop immediately to see it myself, and it was not true. It fit perfect. He still asks for $100 for clams. At the same time I realized that the control arm was original to the car, but I wait until the car was ready before I confront him. He calls me saying was it's ready, however the car had the same problem. He refused to fix it saying it was not his problem. Then I confronted him about the control arms he told me to leave the garage. I went the following day to pick the car and I realized he used tape on the catalytic instead to use the correct clamp, but he charged me for the clamp. He overcharged me over $1200 on work and parts that he never installed. I noticed a lot of dents and scratches on my car and a loose nut on the Sway bar link probably done as retaliation. , together we will stop Matt fraud to customers, please chare this review.
