Mike's takes care of my fleet of 12 cars. They have done a very good job and use quality parts

Now again, while driving the vehicle and being assured that it was OK, the car was overheating at higher temperatures 50 mph and over so noticing the issue I immediately called again and explained the issue to prevent any further damage to my car because the problem was persistent. **** Now, at this particular time, I spoke to the son Mike Junior, the younger owner. I was explaining the issue in detail so he can make a proper diagnosis while I was on the phone. He continue to ( Brush me) off as he seemed annoyed or busy. I found it quite rude because I've seen him have this attitude towards other customers while in the shop despite how I felt, I brought my vehicle in because the issue was urgent and needed immediate attention. Why trying to explain the issues to him and show him the temperature gauge via photo and video of what was going on under my hood to assist him, he continued to walk out of my face and said "yes I understand your car is overheating " loudly. So I dropped the car off on Saturday with expectations to get it on Monday, which I did, he explained to me that Monday when I called that there was air in the system and bled the system for me, he told me that there shouldn't be any other issues with overheating and that he test drove it, and there was no overheating. Free of charge he said, which was reasonable due to it was about the THRID TIME I brought it. Now I drove it that that night and the car was still overheating so I decided to call because Tuesday 11/04/2025 the issue was still persistent. Mike Junior the son was not receptive to what I was explaining to him about my vehicle. He seem very annoyed when I was explaining to him when I asked him what it could be for clarity because I didn't know if I needed to get my own parts because the issue started to become costly. He decided to be very disrespectful loud and hang the phone up in my ear. At the moment I decided to visit the shop to bring the car when I arrived I asked him when have I ever been disrespectful to you, he replied that I had never been disrespectful to him, but I was asking stupid questions and I keep calling about my vehicle. He was obviously frustrated or annoyed that he couldn't properly fix the vehicle and that I was persistent to try to get it fixed. So this was my fourth time trying to get the car fixed. I returned my vehicle to the shop because I wanted to give them the opportunity to resolve the issue, however, I was met with Mike Junior the son, with this disrespectful attitude and tone vulgarity and a persistent problem that my car was not fixed and still overheating. I feel like I paid for nothing. He was more than rude and disrespectful yelling at me and telling me that I can take my business elsewhere when all I was looking for was clarity to try to get my car fixed. I will never conduct business with them ever again. Mike Junior, the son did not conduct himself in a professional manner or like a proper businessman, this individual is not an honorable man and cannot perform under work-life stress its unfortunate. This is how he treats his customers because as he claims he reputation my experience was horrific. Please do not get your car serviced here. You will have continuous problems and you will be back shortly. HIS ATTITUDE AND BEHAVIOR AND BUSINESS WAS UNACCEPTABLE. read more

Been going to this family owned shop for 23 years now. I have complete confidence and complete faith that Mike Sr. and Mike Jr. always have my best interest in mind financially and his crew can accomplish anything mechanically. They will tell you the truth and help you even understand what's going on with your vehicle. Ive had the smallest of jobs and the most crazy jobs, like engine swaps, and labor intensive restorations. Great mechanics father and son are a dynamic duo any time i have a issue with said repair it gets fixed all of there work is guaranteed

Left my car to get diagnosed since my dad goes here. He told me on the phone that it would need a whole new AC system and that he can do it for $280. I asked a younger mechanic if there was any warranty. When I got there he did not replace the AC system, he just sprayed freon in it. We had already told him we sprayed freon in the system and it leaked. The younger mechanic screamed on the phone at my father. He lied over the phone and overcharged for the service he provided. Two cans of freon are less than $100 and he refuses to give any refund after saying he would put a new AC system. read more

If I could give This place Zero Stars I would. This has to be worst Mechanic I have ever encounter. My vehicle Check engine light came on, the Knock censer's codes were read. I took it to mike and he charge me $350 to replace them and It was done fast and with out any care at all. He put none original parts and after driving it again light still came back on for the knock censers. I took it back to him again and this time even gave him original parts to put in it and so he change them again and the light still came back on. He kept putting excuses of what it was but bottom line he never fix the problem and I was out of $350, parts and valuable time. He told me he would call me to bring the truck in to Reset the Computer and He never did. I Had it done Professionally and was told that who ever worked on this before was a complete moron. There was loose bolt everywhere clips missing completely dirty and nothing was done correctly. I'm so Grateful that the light is off and my Truck is working Amazing now after taking it into my own hands. this guy is definitely out for the money and not doing his job. I have consistently brought my vehicle to this repair shop over the past few years and over time I have noticed how much money I have lost to this criminal. I did not have much knowledge in the beginning about the car's mechanics but as time went on I started to learn more and more. He has consistently been charging me for things that did not have to be fixed and added things that said needed to be fixed on the car which I would not know for sure but either way that is not the point. Recently I had just bought to get my car fixed because the car would not start I told him it might be a starter then he proceeds to tell me that the message that was appearing on my car said "check charging system" which I know for a fact it did not say that. It in fact said "check starting system". He then tells me that its an alternator problem. But I almost know for a fact that its not but either way I tell him just fix the starter and out of my unsureness I told him to fix the alternator too since that's what he said needed to be fixed. On the next day he said the car is ready I go to pick it up give him the payment and head to my car. Finally I attempt to start the car and the car will not start and it says "check starting system" and does not say "check charging system". I call him over he puts the car in neutral and starts my car. I am in complete shock and disgusted. Please don't let this man continue to do this kind of business. I have been a victim for years and have just realized it now. This is criminal. read more

For 15 years I trusted Mike to take care of my cars. Over the years, I recommended him to friends, family members and acquaintances. We engaged in a verbal agreement in which I was going to give him my old car in exchange for $500 towards towards an old Jeep on his lot. Since the money had already exchange hands, I suggested that he apply the balance toward future service. He stated that he would give me a whole new set of front and rear brakes when the time came that I needed them in lieu of the $500. I had no reason to believe he would not provide what he agreed to. When the time came that I needed brakes he apparently only replaced the front pads. I have had the vehicle looked at by two different mechanics and they both agreed that nothing was new except the front pads . I called him and told him I wanted a check for the $500 he owed me. He refused. He insisted that he gave me new brakes, yet wanted me to bring the car in to put the new brakes on. This guy can't even keep his lies straight. I do not like being taken advantage of, and I'm CERTAIN that I'm not the only one he has done it to. When I ran into the gentleman on New Street that purchased my original car from Mike, he claimed it was a good deal for the price with only 140K miles on it. I turned that car over to Mike with 236K miles on it. I realize this is a serious accusation because rolling back the odometer is a criminal offense. But this guy is more than just a liar, he indeed is a criminal. He just hasn't been caught yet. read more

He said he rebuilt the transmission.. went to another mechanic who told me the transmission had never been removed at all do to the build up of dirt from over time .. car is over almost 20 years old so 20 years of dirt and grime. This man doesn't care about anything or his loyal customers. If you want to turn your car into a money Pitt this is the perfect place for you. I came to this shop with a 2011 Nissan pathfinder that had a broken rear differential. He called me to the shop to show me the old part and said "the new one is in and works great." I paid about 900.00 for the job. After driving the "fixed" truck, it seemed too rough. Whenever I would let go of gas, it would kind of knock, like of gears In rear differential were still broken or something..I took it back to the shop and he said it was all good.. not even 2 months after, the rear differential broke again. (Obviously your not supposed to buy a new differential for 900.00 every 3 months) I returned to Mike's service center explaining that it was once again broken. He then told me "well there's only 90 days on the junkyard parts." What?! I didn't pay for a junk yard part. I was told the part was new. Who would pay 900.00 for a part from a junkyard?!!? He calls the junkyard on speakerphone and they tell him "no, theres only a 30 day warranty." Expecting this business owner to show some sort of customer service or proactive thinking, he responds with "the best I can do is give you a discount on labor." He told me I would not only have to purchase another rear differential, but would also have to pay for labor again. (His "discount" wasn't even 100.00!) So I went there to get my truck fixed and I wound up paying 900.00 for nothing. He's lied when the Better Business Bureau contacted him about my complaint. I have receipt and his signature saying it was paid in full. I will be suing this low life's business, and truly urge every person to stay away from these scammers..Also before this incident, I have a 2005 cadillac sts that I took there to get an oil change. A week later my engine seized up and the same mechanic said the reason was because I didn't have any oil in my car...how?! I just got an oil change from them a week before!! Meaning they didn't put the screw back on and I probably lost all of oil on way home. Ive never had any oil leaks or problems burning oil. The only reason I took my cars to this place to begin with, is because someone referred me to them. After speaking to them about this, it turns out they were scammed too! IF YOU GO TO THIS SHOP FOR YOUR CAR, YOU (WILL) REGRET IT. I didn't write this post to waste my time. I wrote it so others won't have to deal with the same financial hardships I've had to endure because of these dirt bag, scheming, lying "mechanics". I have all proof of work with dates, prices, etc. My lawyer has already been contacted. I wish i could put "0 stars". read more
