He did my gutters in a pinch last fall right before a big storm and they were so clogged. That's when I met him. He and his crew then did leaf blowing and removal. He even stopped by the other day when I had a big puddle problem and came up with a quick solution, same day. I'll be hiring him to put in a new walkway just as soon as it's warm enough.

IM LANDSCAPING & MASONRY TO THE RESCUE!!…read more Since the pandemic, our patio was in desperate need of a refresh; take out the weeds, clean the bluestones and put poly sand in the joints. After getting several estimates, we called IM Landscaping and spoke to Freddy. He was able to come to our home and give us an estimate to do the work, which was fair and reasonable. Freddy and his team arrived early the next morning. I loved the fact that they were very thorough in removing the weeds, digging deep to get the root balls out. After that, they power washed the entire patio, even behind the condenser. Everything was so fresh and clean!! Due to the rain forecast, Freddy thought it best to make sure the stones were thoroughly dry before he installed the sand. He returned the following week and completed the work. Several neighbors immediately commented on how nice our patio looks. We're sorry that we didn't take before and after pictures to post. Do not hesitate to give IM Landscaping & Masonry a call. They are knowledgeable, professional, and their prices are reasonable. Thank you Freddy!!

It started out ok but things just got progressively worse and worse. We decided to bring in Lawn Dr. to help with some crabgrass and dandelion issues and decided to ask them if they could refer a new company to maintain the acre or so of grass as well as take care of the rest of our landscape needs. I gotta say upon my first meeting with Rob the owner who came out the day after calling him, I got a great impression and a good feeling he could help and understood how important it was for us to focus on the basics since we were working with a limited budget. There is nothing like the feeling of knowing that things are being taken care of and not having to chase a company or an owner down. Rob and his guys are the best! It feels like every time I thought the grass was due for a cut they would read my mind and just show up to get the job done. The most amazing thing happened after the storm which rocked Fairfield county and left our yard full of tree limbs and branches I was dreading having to call to see when they could fit us in for a cleanup but like usual just a day after the storm Rob came and had the place looking amazing as usual. There are no words to describe the unprofessionalism. I bought a house six months ago. It is my…read moreunderstanding that two sets of previous owners had used Ridgefield Lawn. When the time came to blow and bag the leaves last Fall, the owner just made my entire back of the fenced yard a dumping ground for the leaves instead of doing a cleanup. That area now cannot be used. His wife, when I asked her point blank to remove the leaves, said he would remove them. She and I discussed the significant tick issues that could result from those leaves and the danger to me and my dogs. Also, Ridgefield Lawn had placed a lock on the yard gate. I have asked for six months to get the key to make a copy. I'm now having other workers come in and I have to have it. John Dumke came this morning. He made every excuse not to clear the leaves. He said he had been pushing them in the back of the yard for fifteen plus years and didn't have time. I told him I had asked for months he and his wife had several opportunities over the last six months to say they would not do it. He got mad. He got even madder when I again asked for the key to my gate. He said the lock was not his problem. I said he had to have the key because his crew uses it to get in to mow. He then started yelling and calling me difficult. He said several very disrespectful things that were completely unacceptable given the nature of my requests. Yelling is not an exaggeration. I have never seen such behavior especially when my questions were simple. The fact that he made the back of the property a dumping ground shows his laziness. I would give John Dumke and the Ridgefield Lawn Service zero stars. People that visited my home were appalled that Ridgefield Lawn left the backyard in that condition and charged me 500 just to blow the leaves. It took me one recommendation and one phone call to find a company that was happy to help and that did not operate that way. They believe in leaving the yard clear if leaves and they understand the dangers of leaving the yard a mess. Shane on Ridgefield Lawn. I also have to add I used them for snow plowing. They pushed a good ten foot pike of snow against the house in front of a window vs. clearing it. I told them not to do that and they did it again . They came very close to hitting my car with me watching them. They tore up my alarm sign and just left it pushed over. It is too deep to pull out of the ground. Just horrible work ethic.
