Best breakfast sandwich and pricing was so cheap. I came recommended from a friend that frequents SF often. I went with the full porker-sausage, bacon jam, ham, etc. it was a ton of food and there is something special about the way the eggs are prepared--you have to try for yourself. Swung by for a breakfast sandwich and coffee on a Saturday morning. As usual, it was delicious. We tried the sandwich with the smoked ham and onion jam -- top notch. I also ordered the seasonal salted caramel drink which was like a macchiato. The espresso is definitely strong (fyi) but they make their own caramel syrup so how could I not try it?! Fernsons never disappoints with its gorgeous downtown atmosphere. This is one of my favorite places to go with my fiancé if we want to have a relaxing day with a drink and snack! Fernsons now has a new food vendor called "Totally Rad Eats" which did not disappoint. The fries were delicious and the BLT was full of bacon which is just how I like it. We camped at the KOA across from the main brewery and were so sad it wasn't open to the public, we'd have been regulars!! The downtown location is definitely worth the ride though, it's a very nice, comfortable and inviting space with great friendly service. We stopped in for some brew and snacks after doing some of the touristy things in town. We started with a flight to find that one unique brew like no other and a couple appetizers. The cheese curds are delicious! Nice light breading and all melty, stringy and gooey, just like I like them! The stuffed pretzel was totally unique and fun, didn't need any of the beer cheese dip, they were good all on their own! They're a brewery first and foremost and the brew is where it's at! The sours are sour, the lagers are light and the stout stands up to it's name! Our favorite was the Lemon Pie Milkshake, that stuff is so good!! We got a couple crowlers of that to go then headed on down the road for more touristy stuff! Definitely should be a stop on everybody's Sioux Falls adventures! read more

It's counter top ordering, staff isn't the friendliest. Food was OK, they could all use communication training. For the non locals communicate where the menus are, communicate that water cups are upon request, especially when you order food and no drink. Not a place I'd necessarily want to revisit but would for a beer. read more

Great brewery on Phillips! The flight trays were so cute-- very old school cafeteria. They have lots of seating (indoor and outdoor) and food available via Wagoo Burger connected to the brewery. Really enjoyed Hazy IPA and the Coffee Cake was hands down my favorite beer in Sioux Falls. No stickers the day we came :( read more

Came here on a Thursday evening and decided to get a flight and some food. I got one stick of lamb chislic and two pieces of their fried chicken. The chislic was alright, but the chicken was amazing! It was whole boneless chicken thigh that was nice and crispy on the outside and still super juicy on the inside. It came with some togarashi sprinkled on top so it had a little bit of spice that was nice. It also came with some mayo(?) on the side, maybe kewpie. For the flight, I got: - Wagonplane - Tart farmhouse - Lions paw - Plains I think my favorite was Plains. The Tart farmhouse was definitely tart. Lol. I thought about getting a half of fries too, but decided not. I'm glad because it ended up being a lot of food with just the chicken and chislic. Total cost came to about $30 including a 20% tip. I would come back just for the chicken. So good. read more

I don't come here often but we did pick up their burger for the January burger battle. It was definitely one of my top 2 of 37.

The service was excellent. This is why I gave them a fair rating. The food although I only tried the "Pot Roast" burger for the battle of the burgers. The flavors were ok. I expected the gravy to be a little more wow. The meat was tender and burger meat was over cooked. The fries were really good. You have to serve your own water. It is a loud place if full so don't expect quiet time. I do want to try other things some other time. The prices seemed reasonable. read more

Awesome brewery and kitchen in historic downtown Sioux Falls. The interior is split into two rooms and is very spacious plus there is a big patio outside. Lots of beers to choose from. My favorite was the Blueberry Pie Sour. I had an Elote hot dog with fries. The dog was killer and the fries might be the best I've ever had (please don't ever change how you make them). Beers: each of us got a flight ($10 for 4 beers-great price) surprisingly enjoyed the red ale as I'm an IPA gal, loved the barrel aged esme and double hopped shy giant --SO good Food: Buffalo chicken wings & pork belly tacos fairly spicy but very good, loaded fries excellent, Italian donuts Service: meh and eh, at first great, very kind, then we got our food, no plates silverware or napkins-luckily I had asked for napkins earlier to clean the bar area we were sitting at to play cards and we used those in our meal. No one asked us how we were doing with our food or drinks, and it seemed as if everyone behind the bar was purposefully avoiding eye contact with us. Luckily we overheard one sever telling another the kitchen was closing so I interrupted 2 waiters in their own conversation to order our dessert. All in all, we're visiting from NYC and would recommend this place on food & beverage. A cute but cool neighborhood spot that my family and I decided to stop by for a drink and some snacks and... we totally fell in love with the place. Their beer is very tasty (clean tasting, flavorful, and good selection) and their friend chicken is to die for (crispy, lightly battered, slightly salty and spicy, a perfect addition to your beer flight). We ended up getting a couple more drinks (...cough! was it three?), a bottle of their hot sauce (i regret not buying 10 more...), and two T-shirts. This is a first time I bought a T-shirt from a neighborhood restaurant as a tourist. We asked the bartender if they had any plans to expand their business to Seattle (where we live) and he answered, "not at this time," but maybe... if we write a petition... or float a hot air balloon... or something... they'll come to Seattle. Had an absolutely delightful experience at Fernson last evening. We reserved an igloo on the patio with friends, which included tokens for a round of drinks. We ordered our drinks and were brought to our adorable, clean, spacious igloo. A couple blankets provided, a small heater on full blast. What really blew us away was the ordering system. The members of your igloo order through an app ( all info clearly laid out) and then your food and drink are brought directly to you. One time we ordered beers and they were delivered within a minute...WOW! This was a lovely, fun, safe, convenient experience. We also all ordered the featured Burger Battle Burger ( Murph Burg) and it was DELECTABLE. Fries were so tasty. We will be reserving an igloo again for sure! Thank you Fernson!! read more

Stocking cap guy (don't know his name because he is too rude to give it) consistently has a condescending attitude. He is the standout downside to our visits.
