Ferndales is 30 seconds from my front door, so my girlfriend and I have had plenty of opportunities to try it out, and generally it doesn't disappoint.
I wouldn't say that every pizza we've tried has been perfect, but they've all been really, really good - much better than anywhere else in the area and a million times better than the big brands.
I think the charm of the place is that it's obviously a one off, all the pizzas have interesting toppings and quirky French names. Not every pizza is identical; they generally have a nice rustic feel to them, in my opinion, a nice break from the norm.
The icing on the cake is the pricing, pizzas range from £5 to £6.50 for a well-sized meal. You really can't argue with that, they also have some special offers, which add a free bottle of wine to larger orders. read more
