When I need to interact with the crew directly for any reason they are always friendly and accommodating. They regularly close and lock my backyard gate after themselves which is super appreciated so that I don't have to worry about the dogs wandering out of the yard after a landscaping day. I've weeded my yard a few times before one of their visits and left the weeds in my driveway, too lazy to grab the compost cart - every time they've just cleaned up after me without asking or additional charge. Their quote was fair and competitive -- ultimately I decided to move forward with someone who came directly recommended by a friend, but Van's pricing was absolutely in line with the market and within about $100 of my lowest quote out of five different providers I interviewed. The scope included a full spring cleanup of a heavily overgrown yard, including mowing, pruning, weeding, pressure washing, bark installation, and repairing a distressed gravel pathway. Their pricing was very much on par with the other companies I met - for that large service, as well as ongoing bi-weekly yard care. They were on time, responsive via text when confirming the verbal quote and providing additional pricing details, and overall very kind, transparent, and fair throughout the process. Even though I went a different direction for this particular project, I would absolutely feel comfortable recommending them in the future.
