Service was quick, reasonably priced and efficient. I had a window busted called for service and was out within an hour same day

Excellent service at a reasonable price. My experience with this business happened when my visor came down on my car. Downtown VW quoted me a price of at first $930 and then $638 since I had my extended warranty. When I took my car to Fernandez Auto Glass they suggested I look for the visor for my 2019 VW Jetta on Ebay. The cost was $18.24. I was charged $50 for the visor installation. With the $20 tip I gave them the total cost was $88. read more

I was watching the bears game when I heard a vehicle speeding down my street, the vehicle hit something and I hope it wasn't my vehicle. Well my son informed me my drivers side mirror was in pieces. So I needed to check local car places to price a mirror. This place on 95th st quoted $508, luckily I was able to find Fernandez auto glass. They quoted me $125 but I was charged $100. This place has a customer for life. read more

Went because my dash was cutting out and my battery' had melts plastic from my fuse box and was shorting out, they fixed it in a few hours and were kind, the son helped me and seemed trust worthy and honest with me, two other shops that day tried to over charge me and fix things that DIDNT need fixing, they saved me money and time, thank you. read more

Thieves they try to charge you for a extra window don't go there. Overcharging without looking at window. Definitely a scam. They try to charge based on clients. If they don't have customers they will give you a high quote with out looking at phone's read more

Found this location for my Brother, he was very impressed with the quality of their work and there concern and knowledge. received horrible service from this place this morning on Saturday March 28th I replaced a windshield on my 2007 Dodge Caravan after I paid i walked to the parking lot and realized the Windshield I just purchased was cracked I let the owner know and he laughed in my face and told me it's nothing he can do I was so upset I called the police, the policeman was Mexican so he automatically took the owners side. This place get alot of business from black customers but they have no respect for their black customers if you are black please dont spend your money here these people are racist and they only care about a dollar and not the customer. Dont support this business They literally took my money gave me a cracked windshield and laughed in my face. The owner feels that he can disrespect the customers since he has been there along time. This place is dishonest and they have undocumented workers that work in there and that's illegal read more

Car windows are as good as new, they even vaccuum any broken glass from your car! Waiting room is bare minimum, neat, no frills. Each time my wait was no more than an hour, but i showed up early at or before 8:00. Call ahead for a quote or you can just show up. Prices seem fair, and the owner is nice. I highly recommend Fernandez auto Repair! read more

This place brightened my day after an unfortunate experience with two busted windows from gun shots. I called another place first and they didn't have windows for my make/model in stock. Another place (recommended by my insurance co) quoted me $200 per window but was much farther away. I didn't want to drive across the city with two busted windows in 40 degree weather. I was beginning to get desperate when I called them after 345 on a Friday afternoon. The customer service agent confirmed that they had my windows (used) and quoted $90 for repair per window, which included parts and labor. I was told that it would take 2 hrs but I was in and out in 45mins. It was a very good price. I believe their used windows are high quality and they were lightning fast! read more

I don't know why this place doesn't have many reviews. But I thought I would help them out by writing a review of my own. I called this place the day before for a quote for the replacement of the front windshield. It started to spider out from a small crack. So, when I called they quoted me about $135 for part and labor! Best part of all, it was finished in half an hour. I called other auto glass repair shops, and they quoted me for $225. Great place! read more

very rude people ( older hispanic lady wouldn't give her name)you would think they would be nice when talking with them after all they are in business to make money. I called for a windshield used they quoted me $110 with wiper scratches and the lady was rude about it saying that's what you get for used , New its $160 WOW!!! before i could answer she simply hung up. Needless to say these glass places in the 60608-60632 and 60629 are all connected.....my money is green..went to the Northside and paid $90 used with no scratches....... read more

My window wasn't working so I came here and they fixed it right up for a reasonable price. The only thing I had a problem with was how long it took. They said it would be an hour and a half when it actually was almost two and a half hours but it wasn't a big deal. read more

After getting my window smashed by some chumps, all for a radio they would sell for $50! I took my truck to these guys and they hooked it up for a fair price with speedy service. My only gripe was they didn't do that great of a job on vacuuming out the shared glass. Weeks later I would broken glass bits rattling around as I shut the door. But that flaw wouldn't make spend more with another. So they're alright by me. read more
