Archer's Auto Glass did a fantastic job and they were able to fix our car rear window quickly! We live in an RV Full time and travel all over the country and we had an accident backing the car into our Fifth Wheel Hitch 5 days before we were leaving South Carolina. Archer's Auto Glass was able to fix it within 4 days of requesting a quote and the installer was professional and quick. Best of all they were cheaper than the big corporate auto glass repair company. Thank you Archer's Auto Glass! read more

Went in for a windshield replacement. Noticed that some of car wrap was scrapped/torn off near the cowl of the car, windshield wipers were scratched, and they were sitting too low after everything was reinstalled. Great job on the replacement but I wish they took a little better care of the cars themselves. read more

The place had no manners with how they treated the car with that meaning just simply not cleaning up properly with shoe prints on the back of my front seat as well as markings on the leather. Not to mention white residue left from placing the tint still messy as if a kid made a mess inside to the point I'm assuming they didn't place anything down to prevent making a mess or wetting the rug under the back windshield. Speaking of which, looks highly rushed to the point after seeing how it fully dries I may have to get it removed and redone. Brand new car 2 days old. read more

I called Archer Auto glass to get a quote for my wife's 2012 Nissan Juke. They were very helpful and nice on the phone. Other locations were charging me $250 to $400 to replace the front windshield. Archer charged me $150. Same day install and no appointment needed which was great because we are too busy. She's said she was quoted a 1 and a half hr wait time but the car was done in an hr. Glad I found this place. read more

I got a small crack in my windshield that I ignored until it travelled all the way to the drivers side. I did a price comparison across several smaller auto glass shops, and the big box ones. Archer was BY FAR the most affordable. I drove over the next day, parked in the diagonal parking, and gave the woman at the front desk my keys, vehicle information, and the quoted price. I was in and out in less than an hour, and the windshield looks great! I've been driving it for about two months and it still looks brand new-- no issues at all. Would highly recommend for fast, friendly, and quality glass work! read more

Always booked for tints and it's annoying, they will make sure they charge you before any work is done to your vehicle which is weird. But the tint work is solid. I just wished they had better customer service skills. More training is needed for the staff. read more

They replaced my rear window twice, after people kept trying to steal my Hyundai Elantra. I called ahead to make sure they had the glass available. They did and they fixed it the same day. The price both times was really reasonable. Much cheaper than Safelite. The staff working the front desk were very friendly, as well as helpful. I now have a different car because I was tired of people trying to steal it, but I'll be back soon to have my windows tinted. read more

Terrible service I came in with a 2020 chevy Malibu and was told they could fix my two front broken windows. When they finished I told them it sounded like glass was still in the door; they continued to say it was just a small piece of glass. The person who changed the glass looked very young and unprofessional, even left scratches on my door panel and chipped a few door pieces. Eventually I took my car to another car place; they took apart my door and found huge chunks of glass on both doors and a napkin inside my door I would not recommend this place they even lost a screw and a few inside door panel fasteners if I could give 0 stars I would they treated my car like it was a cheap old car. read more

Worst experience of my life! If negative stars were an option, this review would have been for negative stars. I ordered my part with them via phone and was informed that they were going to call me when the part arrived, which didn't happened by the way. Therefore, I went ahead and called them to confirm that my part arrived, in which it did (mind you, the lady which picked up the call was being super rude). When I got there, they told me they had the wrong part after I waited 30 mins for them. Didn't offer any apologies for wasting my time and insisted that I gave them the wrong car model (how is this even possible since it's my car??) Not to mention, I confirmed the make and model of my car on the first phone call I placed and again confirmed the make and model of my call on the second phone call I made to confirm that my part had arrived. Oh to make matters worst, they told me that they wouldn't service me if I went back again. If you go, I wish you the best of luck. read more

Reasonable prices on glass replacement - better than anyone in the area. I emailed to ask about windshield replacement because of a crack on a brand new Ram. They quoted a fair price and so I dropped in a few weeks later just to check out the place, feeling unsure since the price was so attractive I wanted to check it out. When I went in they remembered my email from weeks earlier and they actually had ordered the windshield bc they figured it was likely I'd come in. So because they had it in stock and had availability they did it right there on the spot. Less than two hours later I was driving off with a new windshield installed - they gave me a certificate for lifetime warranty as well. Impressive. read more

Some lanes tried to steal my car the day before I went on vacation!!! so I decided to not worry about it until I got back. I called several places and they were high AF! I was referred to Archer by Demond at Midway Dodge (where I bought my car) and I'm soooo glad I went!!! They had the best price by far, and the customer service was EXCELLENT! No exaggeration, it didn't matter who I talked to from the mechanic who took my car keys, to the person who found me a charger because my Android phone was dying lol I was told it would be abou an hour wait, but they finished ahead of time!!! I wasn't even there long enough to get bored. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED read more

$110 for all 3 back windows in my Sentra. Quick availability with making the appointment. Friendly front desk staff. Took about 1 1/2-2 hours. Only complaint is that they took out my latched car seat and didn't put it back... was a pain to reinstall the car seat in the rain with my toddler sitting on the seat while I struggled to get it back latched in place securely. Moms, make sure you have a babysitter and take your car seat out ahead of time so you can reinstall at home at your own time not in the rain with an impatient tired baby. Windows look good. 4.60 a gallon for gas?! F that I'll ride the train. Sadly I'm sure weeks from now I'll look back and think UGH 4.60? I wish! But there are times where I have to take my car out of it's secured garage and drive it to work because it's just necessary that day and then my poor baby gets violated. My car got broken into! UGH. 1st time in Illinois, 2nd time in its lifetime. WEEPS... salty tears. Waaaaah. It hurts. Thank goodness though they only smashed a little back window (gotta be discreet when robbing someone during the daytime in the west loop you see..) so I was kinda ok with a constant slight breeze. Summer's coming, and you know how hot a car can get ;-) BUT to ever do street parking again securely, I needed to fix this! I came to Archer auto because my friend highly recommended them, and rightfully so. I was prepared to pay 100 at least for my glass repair but it was only 45 dollars!!!!!!!!!!! Did you hear me? Or rather, did you read what I just wrote??! 45 dollaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrs. And it was done under 30 minutes and I was a walk in. It looks awesome, they cleaned my backseat full of glass for me. They also fixed my car door because it was opening kinda wonky- free of charge, just an extra thing they did. No big deal they said. I was so happy, excited and impressed with their service. I highly recommend it, these guys are wonderful and hopefully I don't have to get my glass replaced again. Go here for any glass repairs! read more

I had contacted Archer, as well as a bout a half dozen other shops in the Chicago vicinity. This was the message I sent them via yelp: Hi! I have dark tinted windows on my Mini Cooper S. Since moving here to Chi, with the weather being whacky, my tint started to peel off in the lower left corner of the passenger side door. Is there a way to just get this window redone, and how much is the cost? I'm shopping around, but you had great reviews on Yelp. Thanks! Stacy martin m. (replies) Owner 2 months ago Block & Report Owner hello, it would be $35.00 to remove and re-tint So, I called one morning, and they were able to fit me in later that day. Yes, it's not in the greatest section of town, and I worried that I left my block at home (okay, so no glock, but a hidden banana works just as well)... I arrived, and even though the address is on Archer, you have to pull around the backside to get into the garage area. I went inside to greet the woman who I spoke on the phone with, she was very nice and accommodating. There were a couple people ahead of me, so I sat in the chair and proceeded to watch back to back Maury Povich with the other customers. Before I could find out or not the fifth guy on the shows baby was his or not, my car was ready. Originally she was going to charge me $45, but I showed her the email to make sure they would honor it. The boss came in, and $35 it was. It looks great, and no more crunchy embarrassing tint when rolling down the window! Yay!! They do a fantastic job! read more

I am a ghetto bastard who likes to tempt ticket fate by driving around with a cracked windshield for months. No, really, it's fun, I swear. If I'd known what a hassle it ISN'T to get the damn thing replaced, I'd break it and fix it again tomorrow... then again, it's supposed to snow... Anyway, a new front windshield for my 2001 Cavalier was $116 including tax, and it took about 35 minutes to replace while I read an old Cosmo. Can't beat that. Unfortunately you also can't beat other people's children who annoy you while you wait. It's illegal. read more

Called several places for a replacement front windshield for our 2001 Toyota Corolla. This was one of the cheapest places at $120 before tax. They were pretty nice over the phone. No appointments necessary; just come before 5 pm since it takes an hour to replace a windshield. We went to a different place (Grand Auto Glass in Humboldt Park) for the same price, just because it is closer to us. But we would come here in the future. read more

I was on the highway one afternoon in November and a truck ended up kicking up rocks and gravel in my direction. Naturally, one of the bigger rocks popped off of my front windshield, leaving a small but noticeable crack. I figured I'd get the crack sealed later and I didn't worry too much about it. That was stupid. The crack grew exponentially only within a few days. The windshield had to be replaced. I called around to a few places that were recommended by friends and family members, but everyone was quoting over $225. I came to Yelp for suggestions and found this place. I emailed Archer for a quote for a replacement windshield for my PT Cruiser. They emailed me the next day; $138 total! That was with taxes! I went to the shop the next business day (on a Monday morning), trying to catch them as soon as they opened since I did not schedule an appointment. I arrived at 8:30am (they open at 8). I walked out at 9:15am. They were just that quick! Before I could even get out of the car after I'd pulled it into their garage, there were 2 workers walking up to the car preparing to work on it! This was the best service I've experienced in a while. Got a brand new windshield with a lifetime warranty and A+ customer service for under $150. I highly recommend this place for auto glass repair. read more

I had the unfortunate experience of having my back passenger window broken a few days ago. Of course the stolen laptop, back pack, etc was pretty annoying, but since it's been rainy, I was also pretty upset about the window itself. Archer Auto Glass to the rescue! I showed up at around 2 pm on a Thursday, and $53 and 45 minutes later... window replaced! It is even the same kind of glass and everything. If I were going to knock them down for anything, it would be that they were a bit non-communicative when I showed up... but in the end, they did everything super fast and well while I had a donut and coffee down the street. Absolutely no complaints. read more

Couple years ago i had my windows done here was ok not a great job but ok. I was told I had a lifetime warranty, but that's a lie. If you have to replace the glass there's isn't a warranty. Thanks read more

This is my third time at archer auto glass, they have fair prices, but their work matches their prices. the 1st time I came was to get my windows replaced that had been broken, the second time I came was to get my windows tinted. Once they finished my tint they advised to come back to them if any bubbling peeling ect happened and it would be covered under warranty. Barley a year later my driverside window was beginning to peel in little bubbles and the back-driver window scratched just by letting the window down. I called and was told I was covered Once I arrived I was told they would not cover the damage to my window and they will need to charge me. My issue is they should not tell people there protected under warranty and not honor the warranty and come up with excuses to do so. I will not return. I rather pay someone else to do a lasting job and honor a warranty they provide if things happen. In addition to the the front desk representative is not very pleasant. There was a gentlemen that came in almost 30 minutes after I arrived but serviced before me! Will not return read more

Fixed a Civic vent glass really really cheap. Less than 1/3 the cost the insurance company's recommended vendor quoted. Took 45 mins with 5 guys ahead of me, which I think is totally reasonable. Very friendly staff., and they responded to my after-hours quote request within 15 mins of opening for the morning. The waiting room was clean, had AC and a TV. The replacement looks good, is genuine Honda glass and they vacuumed up all the broken bits. It hasn't rained well enough to say it's not leaking, but Archer includes a warranty so I'm resting easy. I will recommend them to all my broken-in friends. read more

Cheap and quick. That's how I like it and that's how they do it. :)

I was able to get the cheapest fix at the last minute. Because of the all mighty dollar, I am rating this place on that alone. If I wanted better service I would have had to pay $50 more. Maybe it would have been worth it, but I wanted to keep the fix as low as possible so I didn't have to feel as bad about the broken window. I called and asked if they would get it done today, and she said I don't know. I gave it a shot, and they got it done in 60 minutes. The tint job they did was not an exact match, it was darker. Also, there were scratches on the used glass. But it was $50 cheaper. read more

My mom's car windshield got cracked so I instantly went to Yelp to search for a Auto Glass shop and this came up close and with a great review so I called them and was surprised that they accepted walk-ins and did not need appointments. Probably they have every glass in stock. Service was fast and price was very good - I expected to pay way more. The Credit Card terminal was down so they only accepted cash and mom did not have cash on hand so she went to the nearest ATM machine and got cash so the cashier knocked off $10 for the inconvenience. What a great service! Way to treat your customers and keep them coming back. Very pleased. read more

SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY DON'T GO HERE!!! Never go here I live in Orland Park so it's a 45 Minute drive at least. I get there @ 3:45 and the guy says "It'll be ready at 5." So I leave and come back at 5 and the guys like "yeah we don't have the piece to fix it" so this is when I get upset this isn't the first time the do this nor the second time but the third time! So I hold my cool for a second and ask can I talk to the owner he's always there by the way! The guy says "yeah let me check if he's not too busy" comes back and tells me "yeah he's alittle busy right now give him a couple minutes" so I do a 15 minutes go by nothing so I get up and ask when is he coming out? The guy says " yeah he can't come out he's still super busy" this is when I get pissed off not only did I drive 45 minutes and then they waste another hour a half of my time then on top of that another 15 minutes!!!! So I'm never going back but on top of all I get home and my handle is crooked and my top that covers my bolts to the door is broke and my buttons are broken too from them rushing it back together!!! read more

On May 13th 2021 I was cutting my lawn and a rock broke my window smh so I was shopping around allot of places only to encounter arrogant customer service not only that super over priced glass, I called archer auto glass and a young lady answered very politely and if it wasn't for her quick problem solving skills I would of been absent from work today, I asked if they had a front passenger window for my 2018 elantra and I asked for a used one and she said she didn't have one,and offer me. A new one, me thinking wow she's probably gona say 140$ for a new one like everyone else and nope it was wayyy cheaper! She had sent some one to get it and when I arrived car was taken in quickly.. After reading Yelp reviews for many years, I was never motivated to write any ...until now. This is the company that inspired me to post. I had a minor crack in my windshield that began to spread. I knew that I would eventually need a new windshield, but dreaded having to get the entire thing replaced. I first tried the "repair" route (with another company ) to avoid having the entire windshield replaced (the repair didn't work, looked awful and glass continued to crack). Then after some cretin smashed my windshield, I had no choice but to look for a replacement windshield. Since this is my first experience with broken auto glass, I didn't know where to go, so I went to Yelp for advice. After getting an estimate from the Safelite website (the first result when you google "auto glass repair") ...I called several places for quotes. This company had the best reviews and was nearest to me (I could not travel far with the condition of my glass), so I called for a quote. Yes, they were the lowest, but I usually don't go with the lowest quote since you sometimes get what you pay for. I was a bit skeptical about the quality of the work and parts, but after reading the positive reviews, I decided to give them a try. I am VERY HAPPY that I did. The process could not have been any easier. They even transferred all the stickers (city & parking) and re-attached the mirror. The windshield style (black edges with slight tint at top) looks identical to the one that originally came with the car. The glass looks GREAT ...cannot tell the difference from original windshield (aside from the fact this one has zero scratches, dings or blemishes) ...if you simply looked at the windshield, you would think its a new car. The quote they gave me over the phone was the price they charged; no surprises. I called ahead to check whether they were busy (and had the part for my car) ...and went during a time when there weren't many people. They were able to take me immediately and whole process took just over an hour. When life gives you lemons: make lemonade ...but when it throws a rock at your windshield; go to Archer Auto Glass. I would highly recommend this company (and the people that work there) to anyone who has auto glass issues. FINAL NOTE of advice for those considering a "repair" versus replacement: The windshield "repair" route (where they inject resin into the current windshield to avoid entire replacement) may be good for small dings, but in my experience it's pretty useless for anything more (especially cracks); I would never use it again and sorry I even bothered. Your windshield will never be fully 100% restored after the so-called "repair"...there are tell-tale signs where they did the repair and damage is not completely erased (not pretty). With cracks; they can only "stop" a crack (not fill it) ...and it only lasted a month before crack traveled further. In all honesty, I don't think the "repair" (with the resin) affected anything ...it may have just been a slow-traveling crack. And again; Archer Auto did NOT do this....another Company performed the "repair." read more

I just moved to chicago...and already, someone BUSTED out my side window. Of course, they decided to bust out the most expensive one (I have a convertible so it's the window that's attached to the convertible top). Well, I called around EVERYWHERE...safelite quoted me at 800 and garber at 500. Seriously...so, I was under the impression that I was going to be paying around 500 no matter what. Well, after going to two other places and having horrible experience with their customer service (aaron's glass being one--and 250), I called archer and got a quote for 70 dollars...WITH installation! So, I just actually got back from there...they did a wonderful job, replaced my window quickly and with tax I ended up paying a little more than 70. I'll definitely go back! read more
