I cannot offer any kind of recommendation for doing business with Kevin Croteau. I called him in September of 2020 after seeing his advertisement on Craigslist for panel shed kits. He had a custom 12'x20' Cedar panel shed that he had built for another customer but told me that the sale had fallen through d/t permit problems. I told him that I needed something bigger and he told me that he could extend that shed to a total of 12' wide 26' long and 9' high. Over the next 30-45 days we met, I looked at the disassembled shed, he agreed to provide two doors for either side of the long walls and that he would raise the roof to a 9' clearance at the base of the pediment (not including roof pitch) and he would provide assembly hardware and detailed instructions for assembly. We further agreed that to keep the cost down I would cover the cost of roof shingles and front "garage door" style entry. We agreed on a price of $6000. I paid it in full. IN FULL. I do NOT have my shed. I have parts of my shed, Kevin delivered the incomplete shed and has given me one excuse after another for why he has been unable to deliver the rest. I have heard about knee replacement surgery, death in the family, unregistered trailers, unavailable trailers, family events...I have heard dates that he promised to deliver the balance of my shed but did not. I have heard NOTHING AT ALL since June 5, 2021, the date that Kevin Croteau, who does business as Universal Wood Structures LLC ghosted me. I have no response, no shed, AND I spent an additional ~$3500 on preparing my property for the assembly of the shed, buying stone, paying laborers, getting permits from my town. So all told I have spent almost $10,000 for which I have got nothing to show except a big hole in my property and an angry husband. As of yesterday I have involved the Attorneys General of the states of Massachusetts and New Hampshire, the Better Business Bureau, and I have an attorney in the wings to step in should Mr. Croteau fail to make this right. I was patient, I was understanding, I met every part of my obligation to him in our agreement. Mr. Croteau failed utterly. There are other complaints against him at the Better Business Bureau. I wish I had done better research before handing my money over to this business.

I got four different price quotes while shopping for a new kitchen. Northeast was very competitive we were able to get cherry cabinets for the price others were quoting for maple. The construction was 3/4 all the way around (very sturdy) and the hardware is all first class. The owner did the install with one other guy and their attention to detail was amazing. Best of all I had a soffit above the cabinets I could not remove and they were able to box it in in cherry. When they finished I was amazed, the soffit looked like it was a part of the cabinets. I have nothing but great things to say about this company I highly recommended them.

And he does it RIGHT. We had Warren quote us on custom cabinetry for our kitchen. The price is higher than what you would pay for pre-made cabinets, but they will never match the quality and detail you would get from Northeast Woodworking. Warren came into our home and measured everything and asked just the right questions to figure out what we needed. He helped us customize everything to exactly what we needed. It turned out perfectly. We were so impressed with Warren that our kitchen cabinets turned into three rooms of cabinets, shelves, a window seat and a media wall! And he got it all done *ON TIME* and *ON BUDGET*. He and Steve worked efficiently and were always respectful of our home and our time. We have had several other contractors in our house for other projects, and all of them have commented on how professionally done the cabinets are. We know our woodwork is going to last a lifetime. My wife and I built new construction on New Jersey's Long Beach Island. We had an Architect design…read morea new contemporary home with an open concept floorplan combining the kitchen, dining and living area. This design meant that the kitchen had to be the focal point of the home and had to flow with the rest of the living space. I searched online for modern kitchen design ideas using modern cabinet style. After an extensive search for cabinet designs, materials, and colors, we found Showplace Wired Cobalt and decided that was the look, color and functionality we wanted. After looking at examples from Showplace we found on their website, we saw an example of what we wanted to emulate which led us to the designer Diane Fleming at Norfolk Kitchen & Bath in Manchester New Hampshire. I contacted Diane and told her of our project in New Jersey (which was 354 miles away )and I sent her our architectural plans hoping that Diane would take on the presumably impossible task of designing our kitchen directly from the architect's drawings, our appliance measurements and zoom conferences with us. Much to our delight she accepted the challenge and she designed and rendered our kitchen on computer and did everything without once checking out the construction site! It was perfect! She made a trip down to New Jersey when the cabinets were delivered and spent two days with our installers making sure everything fit, every piece ordered was delivered and instructing the installers exactly where and how every piece fit together. She made another trip to New Jersey to make sure all was perfect and ready for staging and pictures. She was amazing! The kitchen is the centerpiece of the home, everyone who sees it is amazed at its construction, utility, and accessibility to everything a home cook needs. Diane designed it as if a chef were to be using the kitchen and that is exactly what we wanted. I cannot recommend Diane and Norfolk Kitchen and Bath more highly. The expertise, professionalism and customer service were and continue to be outstanding and working with Diane was an absolute pleasure.
