Unfortunately, when I subsequently contacted the owners to arrange for shipping, they told me that Ruidoso was a "small town" and finding a delivery service was unlikely. With that, we went back to pick it up ourselves. (A six-hour round trip.) The owner did help my husband load it into our Jeep, and told him that the screws which held the two pieces together were in one of the drawers. (We couldn't check ourselves because they had wrapped the pieces in plastic for transport.) Upon returning home, we discovered the screws were not there. (We ended up buying replacements from the hardware store.) The piece is beautiful, but the owners were less than careful in making sure the transaction was a success! I was sad, disappointed and very sorry for the situation, especially since I WAS such a frequent customer.
