HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE PRODUCTS THEY SELL AND THERE…read moreSERVICE IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST!! They installed a Dishwasher in one of my units and actually came out at least 2 times because it wasn't working properly. They tried to charge me both times for the LEMON they sold me. I also had them come to another property of mine to fix the stove, which they said they ordered a part and they never came back to fix it. The service guy actually asked my Tenants to pay for the repair while he was there and told her they wouldn't fix it otherwise. She gave in + paid the tech $50.That was embarrassing. I told them never to ask my tenants for money and they did anyways. Again, I could go on, but to Repeat, HORRIBLE Appliances they use and the Service is even worse! Use Someone Else!

GH Appliance Repair was selected by the home seller--not by me--to fix a leaking dishwasher as part…read moreof the real estate contract. The repair was completed in early September, but within three weeks the dishwasher was still leaking at the final walk‑through. They were contacted again on September 16 under their labor warranty. GH Appliance Repair came out on September 17 and claimed the leak was fixed. After closing on September 18, I inspected the appliance myself and found the dishwasher was still leaking exactly as before. I reached out once more on September 24 to have the issue corrected under their labor warranty. At that point, the company told me that because I was now the "new owner," they would not honor the warranty--even though the original repair was never successful. The dishwasher was never fixed, the issue persisted through multiple visits, and the company refused to stand behind their own work. I cannot recommend GH Appliance Repair based on this experience.

Off we went to East Coast Appliance on Military Hwy, in Norfolk. The salesperson (Carol) who helped us finalize the purchase was knowledgeable, patient and friendly. In no time at all we had determined which model we wanted, located it in their warehouse, and made arrangements for a delivery and installation in just 2 days! She certainly set our expectations high for what to expect. The person who kept in touch by text to update us while we waited was on point, timely dispensing needed information thorughout the day on Sunday. And that app you use with the map is such a stress reliever -- no wondering and worrying anymore for those of us waiting at home. Finally, our tech James was the best! He obviously knew what he was doing, and was efficient and businesslike without losing his ability to be friendly. He was in and out quickly with no fuss or mess left for us to deal with. And, of course, the new dishwasher works like a charm. Thank you for employing the three people we dealt with. They changed our "kitchen calamity" into a "dishwasher delight".

I did make 2 trips (Christmas Eve) because, thankfully, they were open until 2p. PRO TIP: use their website's appliance reference diagrams, catalog search and inventory check tools in conjunction with your model number/part number before calling or blindly driving in. Plenty of parking spaces directly in front of the 2 entrances, 1 for retail and the other for dealers. Greeted in the retail rabbit hole by incredibly knowledgeable, efficient and thorough staff. Helped by female employee that took my call; on her own volition before my arrival, she cross-referenced my initial bearing glide part search with the top front bearing (ironically purchased this related part on my second visit) to make sure I was indeed buying the correct glides (2 green, 2 white). She wished me a Merry Christmas both times I exited. Total cost was $54 compared to $38 on Amazon but wouldn't have arrived until Friday.
