We got bumped up in countertop installation which put us in hot water to get a sink in just under 2…read moreweeks. We came in at end of day and was lucky enough to have Molly help us out. She worked with us to help narrow down what was available and align that with exactly what we wanted. End result, she got the sink to us super fast and with more than enough time to spare before our install. Not to mention, it looks great. They have made three different delivery attempts - they delivered the wrong color twice, and the door was bent and broken on the third attempt. Despite the issue with the dishwasher, the real issue is the horrid customer service. They say they will call you back in 10 minutes, but then they don't call at all. They just don't care about their customers, and it shows.

Does anyone really not know what to expect?…read more With that said, when it comes to Ace Hardware stores, they're much smaller than those big box behemoths and for that reason I prefer them. Sometimes all I need are some nails, bird feed, a key made, a screen-repair kit, charcoal for the grill, or something similar, and I don't want to walk through 6 blocks of store (ok, that's an exaggeration, but you know what I mean) to pick up one or two items. And trying to find someone to help? Forget it. Even before the pandemic it was a crap-shoot. I only have so many minutes in my life. Nope. Not spending them like that. On the other hand, Ace Hardware always has a friendly employee who won't just point me in a general direction, but often will actually walk with me to wherever it is. This Ace Hardware is no exception. It's not out on the main street, it's on the side street near the freeway and doesn't have any of the large signs, so it's obviously focused on locals. That should be (and is) a selling point for all these neighborhood Ace Hardware stores. Small towns and small town hardware stores are such time savers and really have their large-size competitors beat for personal interactions.

Those guys did a really great job. They not only moved a fridge to our garage, but also shuffled the other garage appliance around to accommodate the space. The new fridge was large and they had to remove all the doors and drawers to get it in the house. They did this with great care to not damage fridge or walls. He came on a single small flatbed truck and managed to show me how he can get the safe off the truck without a liftgate and it was impressive. I had a lot of questions that he answered and when I made the online purchase, I was not offered the inside lighting and dehumidifier but he had it already just in case so I had him put that in as well. That was really intuitive on his part, but I guess I'm not the first one lol. He did the whole job and slid it on these amazing slippery boards so the heavy wheels didn't hurt anything on my floors.
