They sold me two gallons of stain at 42.00 per gallon, and the next day when I went to apply it,it came out MAUVE on my deck, so I called them and told them what was going on so I had to go back into town and take them the cans.They gave me the third degree, how old was my deck, did I have a piece of the deck with me!REALLY?So on and so forth, I told them I just want some stain for my deck, the young kid behind the counter(clay)kept arguing with me, finally they got me two different gallons of stain and then charged me 55dollars more!!!!Now I'v spent 84.00 on the first two and now 55.00 more and I walked away with two gallons of stain, they kept the first two!So I spent 139.00 for TWO gallons of stain!I never felt more like I was taken advantage of then I did then.What a rip off and they were rude on top of it!I could have gone to lowes or home depot and spent WAY less, but I was trying to give the locals some business!Never again,they totally ripped me off and took advantage of me and I will NEVER patronize their business again!BEWARE!!!!!!

He has apologized to me a couple times (when I was with my husband) but then treated me like I was an idiot the next visit. I have heard similar remarks from others, some men but mostly women. One time he threw my money at me. Other customers witnessed this and I have witnessed seeing others treated unfairly. I'd rather drive a 20 mile round trip to the next hardware store then be treated so poorly by him.
