I have really struggled from the very beginning with my Grandee hot tub. The salt cartridge had a suggested replacement over every 3-4 months. I'd get a warning within a couple weeks of replacement that it needed to be replaced. I let MHT know each time and was met with an "oh bummer". I think I have a lemon to the point of having the mother board replaced and still not any better functionality. I recently had a leak and MTH picked up my unit to repair. No call when they were expected to come, no call with how long the repair would take and when it was finally delivered, the crew got my tub stuck on the trailer and broke the exterior panel. I had requested water and a salt cartridge when it was returned and the cartridge hadn't been installed. I waited 3 weeks and finally called to ask about replacement of the broken front panels. I was told several weeks (which meant no one bothered to ordered the parts they broke) and no word on the cartridge. I love this hot tub but it has been terrible follow through with customer service. read more

Everyone is helpful and professional here. However, the brand that they sold us, Hot Springs Spas, froze and there is no recourse when that happens. The warranty will not cover it. We did everything possible during a big freeze and we couldn't prevent it. Arctic Spas has tubs made in Canada that are insulated differently and made to withstand the temps in MT. I have huge regret ($$$$$) with this purchase and will buy something different (maybe Arctic, I need to research more) next time. read more

I have had a complicated and fabulous experience with Mountain Hot Tub. Purchasing and installing my new hot tub was a dream. The staff was helpful in all regards, from selecting the right tub to setting up delivery and installation. Perfect. When my tub proved to have a manufacturer's defect, Mountain Hot Tub tried to fix it and did so quickly and smoothly. When the repair was not enough, they managed for the tub to be replaced. I usually don't leave reviews but I feel it should be known. It was a little over 3 weeks ago I had stopped into the hottub store and asked if they could come out and empty and refill our salt water hottub. They said someone would be contacting us to get us on the schedule. I waited and waited for someone to reach out and let us know when they would be coming out. They never did! 4 weeks went by and assumed that they where not going to reach out to us, and I decided that we would empty and refill the hottub ourselves. I wiped and cleaned everything down and refilled it and had the water exactly where we needed it to be. Today I come home and the lights on the tub are flashing and jets where running and the temp was at 68 I thought something was going wrong with our heater so I called the service center. They put me on hold to then came back and said that someone had been out and refilled the hottub! I was in complete shock for I had heard nothing back from them on even putting me on the schedule let along coming out unaware they where even going to be here!I had recieved no contact that someone was coming out to do this! They came out without me knowing they where going to be entering my property! On top of that they drained it where i have animals that graze on our grass.I would have had them empty it out in the back pasture, but was completely unaware of them coming out!! Now I am just supposed to wait for the the temperature to come up for all the systems to be operating correctly. I didn't have this issue when I had emptied it and refilled myself. This unfortunately isn't the first time we had issues with them filling our hottub! read more

Your review helps others learn about great local businesses. I called this service because of a leak in my hot tub which had been purchased at this location. Advised that the charge would be 96.00 and you had to give them my credit card number to guarantee the repairman's reservation. I was hesitant and the representative assured me that nothing would be charged before they checked with me. I got called away and the serviceman came while my wife was at home and fixed the connection where it was leaking. He then had to fill the hot tub and test it. I had advised that the tub was empty and was never told that they would like it filled so we had a communication failure between me and the company. After we discussed this on the phone we came to a good conclusion. They listened to the issue and fixed it. Would utilize this company again. read more

I have never bought a hot tub and I am not in the market for one. I am writing this review in hopes it may alleviate some concerns of a potential buyer of one. I am a business owner and have done some minor work for this establishment. I have no personal relationship with anyone at this business. I have seen the culture of this business and how they value their employees and customers. In my opinion they are the finest business I have seen in Bozeman. They truly care about their employees (their break room is incredible), the amenities for their employees are top notch. I saw their kindness and passion for potential customers. It starts at the top and I believe it permeates through out the total company. Usually when a company has these traits they provide the best scenerio for a good product and service. We have bought 3 spas and an Endless Pool from Mountain Hot Tub and can say this company is great. Our first experience in 2003 was our first hot tub. I researched and researched and researched hot tubs and found the HotSpring brand to be the absolute best. There are many reasons, but I will say how many brands have come and gone in Bozeman, yet Mountain Hot Tub is still here. Warranty and Service: The absolute best. Our first hot tub blew out a circuit board, and of course in the middle of winter. I was afraid it would freeze. A call to service and I was assured the insulation would protect it for days. They sent a repairman out and it was fixed that day. No charge, nothing, zilch. Our spa was back in business hours from placing the call. Later we had a heater burn out in the warranty period, it was fixed, no problem and the same day. We then upgraded/traded in our spa for a new Grandee. Great trade in value and we never had a lick of trouble with it in 10 years. Actually, I did have trouble once. I called the store and Jerimiah asked, "When did you clean the filters last?" I thought, how can that be causing this problem. I obliged and cleaned the filters and guess what? He was right. That's what was causing the issue. It's great to have knowledgeable staff right there to fix/answer problems. It was a Great spa. Then we moved and bought an Endless Pool. The staff was so helpful with our builder to provide all the specs and advice to keep us out of trouble. We literally built the house around this pool. Getting it right, or getting it wrong could have cost a fortune. The owner himself came out to supervise the delivery on a sub-zero cold day. When it was time to finally pull the cover off and start it up, MHT sent Robert. This guy is AMAZING!!! Not enough exclamation marks for the sentence. After 10 years of owning a spa, going to MHT water clinic, I thought I knew everything. Robert taught us so much. He spent the entire day filling, testing, polishing, teaching us about this thing. Wow! We never felt so informed or comfortable about being in good hands. Our family getting smaller, we then chose the HotSpring Envoy NXT. Jerimiah in the showroom guided us through the decision. He took so much time explaining the benefits vs. costs of different systems (eg: Salt vs. Fresh). Thanks to his advice, we chose salt water system and LOVE LOVE LOVE it. I'm so glad he explained why this is better for skin etc. Great purchase and the guys delivered it with care. FREE water testing: MHT offers water testing for free. Bring in a sample and they will print out a sheet with the chemical details and recommendations. Plus, they will offer their own wisdom and advice. I can't stress this enough. It's their experience and willingness to support their customers that stands out way above. We've been customers over 13 years and every single experience has been positive. Ive used Mountain Hot tub for many years and I've been very happy with the exceptional products and service. Originally they serviced a hot tub that I owned and did a great job with that. More recently I purchased a beautiful previously owned Hot Springs tub that looked like new and was substantially less expensive than the new one, a very good deal. Once delivery (which they did just two days after we bought it!) I noticed that their was a small leak. I called the shop and they were quick to have the owner speak with me directly. He assured me that they would solve the issue and either get my tub fixed or come up with an equally good solution. He even came out to my home several times to check out the situation and make certain that the tub was replaced on the site to our satisfaction. Mountain Hot Tub rushed the repairs, and put my tub back in its place as good as new. To make up for the inconvenience the shop was very generous and gave us some well needed steps to get in and out of the tub. read more
